What a news?! Do u guys mean that amongst the church members who ganged up to kill a fellow church member, non of them could identify him? Can it also be true that he was not interrogated before he was killed? Will it also be true that this man could not say anything to identify himself as a defence even at the instance of death? What kind of stories and lies are these? Please, Nairalanders, what a story?! |
Are they saying the man is devoid of any form of corruption? MchewwwAs every other leader in Nigeria till date, Akpabio would definitely not be devoid of corruption. But when I visited Akwa Ibom last, I was forced to ask about who the governor is because of what I saw there. I say it so sincerely here, I thought I was arriving in Abuja cos of the infrastructural design that Julius Berger has done there which can be likened to the designs in Abuja constructions. You can see that with the roads, round about, fly overs etc. You know what? If Akpabio had been one of those greedy governors, he wouldn't let Julius Berger do the major road constructions in the state which will stand the test of time. As an advocate of SUSTAINABILITY, i would have called him the Governor with excellent sense of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. I also asked what the slogan "AKWA IBOM ADO OK!" means, and my an Akwa Ibomite explained to me how the governor got into the government house, and to his surprise discovered that the allocations to the state were quite sufficient for first class development projects contrary to what his predecessor (Victor Attah) used to tell the people, and then he declared the THE RESOURCES AND ALLOCATIONS WERE SUFFICIENT for excellent developmental projects, and then declared "AKWA IBOM ADO OK" meaning AKWA IBOM IS RICH, AKWA IBOM IS GOOD, etc. A selfish governor wouldn't establish this kind slogan, but would hid the state resources as the previous did. So that Governor deserves the award, and he is really a good fellow. I know he is willing to do better. |
how can boko haram attack a prison in the center of the state and still escape? Are those strategic places (police stations, prisons, barracks etc) good armored thanks stationed around them? Why are the Nigerian security forces joking about this. For what I know, they cannot just approach those places if there are enough weapons around as they can be fought with them. God bless Nigeria. |
Boko Haram, whose name means "Western education is forbidden" in the local Hausa language, is fighting to create an Islamic state and wants to impose Sharia lawTell their sympathizers like IBB, Sen. Waku, Sanusi & Co that I am waiting for the war, fools. |
The Oil marketers who brought the cakes made a mistake in the first place. Those house members don't eat sugar in the first place. They are afraid of diabetes. They should have brought other packages like £UK, $US, etc. |
See the busybody governor wetin concern akwa ibom and ojukwu, tell him to go and pay salaries arrears since april 2011 and stop sharing money while his subjects are in penury ,the whole world knows whats happening in akwa ibom@Ado ok. I am sure you are from Akwa Ibom. Though I am not from there, learn to appreciate good thing. That man has done more than what the former governor (v. Attah) did in 8 years, within 4 years and he is still achieving. That we criticise politicians here doesn't mean we should not acknowledge the ones who try their best to do well. That's one governor I respect. When last I visited that state, Uyo to be precise, I thought I was just arriving Abj. I respect him for the infrastructure if not for anything. If you insist he hasn't done well, then posterity will tell. Nothing else tells about a leader, but posterity. |
Be careful what you wish for, 'cos you just might get it all, Remember the law of attraction? What you so like and either for yourself or for others do come true, and for you most probably. |
Hey, professionals in the house. I just got to this link now, and I thought it will be nice to register my presence. I am a Chemical Engineer/Environmental Engineer. I am also an Environmental Management/Safety Management professional (NEBOSH certified) currently practising in the UK. From now onward, I'll love to be an active member of this forum as long as reasonable discussions are made here. Thanks for putting this up! |
I guess it was another plan to kill that minister. The Nigerian men are evil, especially those in position of authority. Thank God they failed in that plot. |
This is crazy! Ndu Chuks, do you mean that your people are now trying to claim Ojukwu's corps for worship purposes? I thought you said he does not deserve being immortalized. I can now see that that the north wants Ojukwu's corps. No wonder the BH threats concerning his burial. I dey laugh. |
GEJ must throw-away that cloak of imbecility and clueless(ness) and start kicking-righteous Arse5 like OBJ did back in the days.@Largerwhenindoubt. Well said, bro! The best form of respect is fear. Unlike his master. OBJ, GEJ has refused to apply the Machavelli principles in the sit of power which the Nigerian political circle so requires. He has 4goten how he came to the sit. I really do wonder if OBJ has given this his boy the required tools with which to survive on that sit. |
And when they see people like Wole Soyinka, an academic icon, they will come and insult him. They will even send their [flash=200,200]http://one eyed[/flash] Yusuf to twit rubbish just to insult our father. Evil and illiteracy work hand in hand. The country will not be in peace if we don't get rid of these unfortunate fools. All they want is to carry weapons and occupy positions of authority. |

Bashir, you are insulting our father. We are watching you. Very soon nemesis will catch up on you. We will bury all of you terrorists in the sea. The sea is waiting to eat your corpse. Be prepared. Fool. |
I love GEJ for this singular appointment. I personally have never seen Ribadu as someone whose hands are not soiled. If Ribadu himself is not corrupt, let him proof himself here. This is one of the best appointment I have ever seen or heard of. And I think GEJ has done this to proof wrong, his critics. |
Does Ojukwu have a living son or daughter? If yes, then let them invite one of Ojukwu's sons or daughter. Any of them above 18 yrs should be qualified for a political appointment and as his or her father's son or daughter, he or should do far better than Bianca. |
This animals called Boko Haram are lies. They combine every tool and weapon of evil to operate. Believe me, 90% of what they say to the public through their media communication is a lie and strategy to distract. For instance, the day they tell us that their leader has travelled to Cameroun is most likely to be the day he is having meeting with IBB in his palace. So don't believe them. They are lying. But when anyone mentions their supporter or link any incidence with any politician, please believe. Believe it until the politician or leader comes out to disprove such allegations. They know what they are doing. Their operations are directed by the biggest evil genius in the country (IBB), and co. So they work with intelligence, and high intelligence at that. |
I see this as a koke! Joke! Joke! Big joke! But whether it be joke or real, Soyinka is our father, the first son of Oluwa. Nothing can hurt him and go free. BH masters and their cohorts should watch it. We know them and we will take them on one by one. Moreso, the entity called Nigeria will tople, and there will be no hiding place for the worms. We don't make noise. Our father must not be hurt! |
I think their sponsors like IBB have realized that their incessant killings will cause a divide and make them lost out on the stolen oil wealth and assets in the south. That has prompted them to call for dialogue. But my warning to the south is that the Islamic north will never have real love for the Christian south. If there is anything to do now, it's to disintegrate now and stop trying to negotiate with mad people. Once a madman, always a mad man. The madness will comeback at any time, irrespective of treatment given. Let this country disintegrate! Let's go our separate ways and be in peace! What kind of forced love is this shit called Nigeria?! If IBB's oil wells were to be in the north, would he have asked his agents of destruction to go for dialogue? If the country's resources were to be in the north, would the country not have divided now? GEJ will be the biggest fool to dialogue with this die-hard agents of darkness. I guess he's trying to dailogue with them to enthrone the Islamic Nigeria they are agitating for. |
God bless u Major General David Mark. Then, God bless my ass. STFUK! |
enough of the baseless ranting fellow Nairalanders.Support him for what?! You guys will soon invite a devil to take charge of your security. David Mark is a devil, and not less than his boss, the evil genius well known. |
I am not surprise about his submission. David Mark is one of the IBB core loyalist and Political Halelujah boy. How would he not defend the countinual unity of this forced marriage when him and his boss has oil wells in the Niger Delta. He can go ahead and say anything to deceive the people they think they can deceive. The people who know it know that they are the key sponsors of this mess called Boko Haram. God will surely expose them soon. |
I have been to all this places. Owerri is a clean city on the average and it really looks good because of the earlier 'clean and green initiative' by Ohakim, but you cannot compare it with Calabar for a start. Another city that is clean now is Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom state. I want to believe they are taking after Calabar. You need to visit that city soon to see, cos when last I was there, I thought I was in Abuja at first sight. However, the construction works there are not yet completed and thus making some areas to look unkempt. I would say Enugu is another city that's really coming up and will do very well soon. |
And I remember one man from my village always saying: "Oh God, continue to be silent o". I have nothing to say than to ask God: 'Are you seeing all this? Are you still God? I know you are God, but can you be silent at this kind of act? |
If we are follow your thoughts, then GEJ should have sent soldiers to Maiduguri to waste the land.Well said, noblezone. OBJ was wrong. I hope GEJ doesn't take advice from him to send troops to wipe away the people of Bornu, Kano, Yobe, Niger, etc. |
Will this realy scare Boko Haram or excalate their deeds?Either way, if this is true, then it's a good move in the right direction. Let's watch the drama as its scenes unfold. |
This absurd judgement could not have come at a worse time and I have little doubt that the Boko Haramites amongs us (whether it be the overt or covert ones) will make quite a song and dance of it. Though I may not support the sentence of death against Al-Mustapha, I am most saddened and shocked about this line of statement by Fani Kayode. Is this man now a sponsor of Boko Haram or their supporter? I guess he is calling on them to unleash another attack on the innocent Nigerians. The enlightened (or educated fools or do they call themselves learneth men) of this country are a bunch of disappointment to us. ![]() |
Kai, this guy looks Boko Haram, Isha Allah |
Why fulani always like finding trouble even in ur land they will fight u 4 protesting against their cow invasion of ur farmland I have seen those idiots almost slaughter a gate-man at the gate of one of the universities in the south-east one early morning as I was going for lectures. What amazed me was the manner with which they escaped. They just took the central position while the troop of cows surrounded them and with a whistle-like sound, the cows started running with them while they shielded them on the run. It is difficult to share a home with animals, talkless of wild animals like this. May God help us in this forced union. |
“Every story has a moral; I hope the moral of this story is that though retribution may be slow in coming, one day everyone will get what they deserve. After all, in some parts of Nigeria, we also say, ‘every day for the thief but one day for the owner. Let he who kill die by every means, irrespective of mix-feelings by the agents of devil in our society, |
Cards for what? Do Nigerian girls know what cards are used for afterall? ![]() |
