Whyem15: It may still take several years before it enters serial production, and the cost will be the most important factor to consider. We still don't know the role the aircraft is being produced for and if NAF has ordered for more JF-17, I doubt they will be considering any such aircraft anytime soon. This is exactly why it's perfect for Nigeria. Remember we got our own advanced Jets late. So by the time the JF-17 must have been fully inducted, this aircraft would have achieved maturity. |

bidexiii: I love the fact that's it's a single jet engine, nice concept. Now the F35 will have a competitor now .
The NAF should start considering this aircraft I agree with this completely. |

NTSA: Nice stuff...seems you guys are investing lots of resources on your navy. Nigerian spends around 4 billion dollars on defence, most of the funds go to the air force. I'll say 45% to the Air Force, 30% to the army and 25% to the Navy. |

Odunayaw: Too simplistic. Except the cause of the accident raises eyebrows there'd nothing like all you've said. No need to argue over this, end results will tell. |

Odunayaw: How? You're in a competition with other aircrafts, and your aircraft sustains this sort of accident. You don't have a chance any more. Your rivals will capitalize on this, the client would also score your aircraft poorly. |

Lurker4Long: I came here to post this. It's at the USSOCOM trials for Armed Overwatch. No details yet. If there was any chance initially for this aircraft, this accident has completely destroyed it. |

Nemesis4you: 3 LCH produced for IAF are part of the 15 limited series production batch , pilot training for same already begun & customer acceptance test will start soon , another 6 LCH will be delivered this year
Rest what you said is reasonable , NA (or anyone) will have all the valid reasons to go only for service proven platforms If customer acceptance test hasn't started it means the helicopter hasn't entered service yet. However that's really not the crux of the matter. |

joscofelix2: it is true sha.i have asked people with intel, they all say no that intel but say maybe a c14 classified info. But for me i think the guy just decided to right this when he saw the pic of army pilot and indians, may be he wish they was going to be a procurement Exactly !!!! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by kabe1: 1:03pm On Jul 13, 2021 |
joscofelix2: do not say that with confident. Even if i do not support the intel but you have no knowledge of military procurement.because i do not see nigeria army sending their pilot to india without something in mind. Army is full of secreat procurement You guys should please think. There are only 3 LCH helicopters produced, none is in Indian Air Force & Army service. Why would you think the Nigerian army that has no experience flying and operating basic helicopters, no experience with flying advanced helicopters would suddenly purchase a helicopter that's not in service anywhere in the world? Can't you see how unreasonable such a procurement sounds? |

We are not China. China has the world's largest number of quality and advanced engineers. China can do somethings and get away with it because they are a very, very important country. We need to hire a couple more experienced engineers from abroad. |

Stormtrooper11: Why? I feel maybe they don't have a large production capacity For just 10 vehicles? I disagree. They recently supplied 3 APCs to Imo state government. They did not supply any vehicles to NIMASA, now this Police contract. If we are talking 100s of vehicles that would be different. |
