Rescue Me by Madonna : So much energy, could relate to everything. |
To God - EVERYTHING ! My father who forced me to go to one of the best primary / secondary schools in Lagos even though it was hours from my house and I was always tired everyday. My mother who carried the education financial burden for years and paid all that money for Unilag's Diploma against the advice of many. My cousin always encouraging me. A Nairaland user on here - Sagamite - who has given me so much sound postgraduate and carrer advice which has benefited me immensely ![]() |
chamotex:Made my afternoon ![]() |
Sarafina I can't believe I forgot that. . First movie to ever make me cry, I was about 11 and wailing uncontrollably. ![]() |
Travelista:Also critically assuming it wasn't beauty-based . . . |
funkybaby:This person had exact same issues I had years back @ OP another phrase you can use is "Passport Irregularities" or something of the sort. |
topup:I've never hated a TV character as much as I hated BIG, up till now when I watch reruns I skip Season 1 when she was so needy and BIG was such a jerk. |
Pursuit of Happiness (The scene where they slept in the train station toilet) had me crying for days when I thought of it. The Way We Were (At the very end where Babara Streiend tells him "your bride is beautiful" then they play the theme song made me cry for a min. Sex and the City (Season 4 an episode where Carrie falls on the run way then gets up and talks about picking yourself up when life pushes you down and all) makes me cry everytime I see re runs of it. Grey's Anatomy (When the show was still good so many episodes when kids and pairs of couples died made me cry) now the show has gone to the dogs make me wonder why the hell I wasted my tears back then. Les Miserables (The Live Show) When they sing I Dreamed A Dream ! : Need I say more. |
Funkybaby is very right. Go with option 2. I had the a case similar with yours ( I don't want to go into details). In the application box just say you were refused for "inconsistent passport" or find another phrase, you don't want to be throwing the word fraud around. I'm also not sure about you writing an apology letter drawing attention to the age lies. . Most times these people weigh new application on it's on merit. But as what funkybaby thinks ? |
This article smells of City People e.t.c, Rubbish writing Lol @ Temmy who ? These days even Madonna uses a last name |
Yorubah, choose one hotel booking OR Iv, you CANNOT do both weigh the pros and cons of each of them, if your family can give you all the documents you will need, and is you're sure they are in good position over here, then that's fine. |
Ha Ha. . . Were those the dumbest posts you could find of *mama-gee*, you must be a newbie. The height of her stupidity was in the Sade Adu thread. You should look at that one, was a treat. |
worry246:Very uncalled for ! But playing the Devil's advocate. . I can understand this poster, Nigerians never wanting to try anything new can be frustrating ![]() |
Vuitton:This is good advice, but will backfire unless he has solid money in account and plenty ties to Nigeria, |
I use both phones, and have to tell you N97 is the shizz ! Really good phone, the only thing BB is good for isthe messenger, and to do "yanga", . I got it because of peer pressure and to keep us with friends in Niaja. Having said that, you have to have constant internet to enjoy your N97, the phone just has everything in it. |
The posters said Masters Grade not degree. Poster, it's a 50 - 50 thing, for example I hope to do an MBA at a top American school after the Master's i'm currently doing, so I'm hoping the grade (a distinction) would be in my favour, but if you're going to work after. . it's not very important, until about 5 years ago there wasn't even master's grade. it was either you passed or failed. |
Arh thank God, another fan. I love all of them ! Racheal Barry, Kurt and yeah Sue kills me too, did you watch the last episode -GaGa ? |
This page is for anyone who watches and loves the TV show Glee ! We call ourselves gleeks, drop comments e.t.c - If this is a duplicate thread please let me know. |

How to bake simple plain cake ! Missy I'm waiting, |
The face, Perfect. Dress, Perfect. Legs, On point. And I'm not a fan of Omotola, also remember this is a live pic,so no photoshop. The woman is hot. |
Hi ssemire, just saw your message. I've added you on yahoo. Cheers |
Take My Breath Away - Berlin. Well Well Well - Grace Jones. Sunset Sunrise - Grace Jones. |
Lol, I know how you feel. I went to Barcelona and Sitges last month. . so I get where you're coming from. Won't call it the most beautiful country though till I've done more traveling. ![]() |
CHAIRMAN, if you use yahoo messenger my ID is on my profile, add me lets rub minds. Cheers |
Mubz:Don't be silly my friend. Won't the man know the benefits of what he is getting into before pursuing it. An important reason for knowing how much the salary offered is : THAT IS ONE OF THE INTERVIEW PROCESS ITSELF. A company wants to know you did research on them, and their pay package is part of this. Also companies want to know you don't under value or over value yourself. The fact that no one on this thread has menthoned this shows most nairalanders are have baked jealous folks who will never have a professional career. Too bad. CHAIRMAN, you need to google the postition for P&G, you will probably get response for their pay package in America, but you can do a conversion and it will give you basic idea, that's what I do. |
zionmmv:So the poster has superiority complex, but you don't ? What big things are you doing ? You're comparing your free low rent degree to a UK degree. You're just a mad dog. |
CHAIRMAN I also got invited for the P&G interview with Careers in Africa on the 28th and will go, but the truth is if the salary they are offering isn't much I'm not ready to relocate anywhere for peanuts. I know what they are paying counterparts in UK. At the person who said the Msc isn't worth jack, that's your own business, and own Msc. I know the worth of mine. |
Mohawk, that's the first costume she wore when I saw her perform, you should see the rest ! |
They have said repeatedly that thwy would keep the Point Based System, so no problem with that, as Funky said they might clap down on colleges and have tougher rules for colleges to get sponsorship permit. The worse they can do is scrap Tier 1. . and that's their doom everyone to divert to the other countries - maybe it's even good sef allow students to examine other opportunities. |
