Dr Know, don't let some of the nairalanders in Nigeria hear all the good things happening to you o. That's the begining of fight with them, that you claim to be living better than they are. There is nothing they won't say "why are you on a computer and not at work" "you must be joblesss" "you must be a gutter cleaner" "you must be owning government and your credit card company million" blah blah. True, i agree. But Just Dance and Poker face were quite normal by these days standards. The thing with Gaga is, the videos are designed to make sure you do not ignore her and by default, listen to the songs. The songs themselves are really good. It's like a balancing act. One can't work without the other.

She did Baby Boy when Dancehall was hot, she did Beautiful liar with Shakira when Latin music was on top of the charts, she did Crazy in Love with Jay-Z at a time when Ashanti and Ja Rule where urban crossover kings, she's killed Gospel Soul with he Fighting Temptations songs, dominated R'nB, Ave Maria to challenge Pop Opera, she even performed with Tina Turner.

What she has done with this is showing the whole world that she's not the average Christina Milan or Ashanti . . . she's the face of pop music.

From the highlighted, how is that a real innovative artist. . collaborating with everyone that's hot. To be the real deal, you cannot follow or dominate the current trend. You have to CREATE it. That is the real deal.

Watched the video. Very different and a real effort on the part of her and her record label. Very colorful and exciting. Beyonce knows Gaga is a real threat, so she's trying to attach herself to her. Show she can keep up with even the craziest of them. Keeps her relevant. In this current world populated with kids with no attention span, she keeps you watching from beginning to end. Well done i'll say. I don't think the specifics matter. She's obviously trying to be the Madonna of this generation. While in Madonna's time all you had to do was be semi unclothed or burn a cross, these days, that's nothing.
More importantly, she makes hit record and can actually sing.

WORD WORD and WORD. . This video was actually good for Beyonce's career, all reviews have said this is a new side of B. And you're right about GaGa, staying relevant is not easy these days isn't easy she's pushing boundaries. But more important she can SING ! You're soooooooooo off base, Where exactly did GaGa wear a body suit in this video ? And even if she did Toni Braxton wore that since 1996 about 13 years before Beyonce did. And as for her wearing Bra and Thongs how is that copying Beyonce ? Madonna has been wearing that to perform for the last 25 years.

There's really nothing new under the sun, but GaGa has been trying hard,and is a breath of fresh air. And if you are going to argue on who is creative between her and Beyonce . . . You'll lose that war

Actually, I was being sacarstic, but you caught me. I now like Beyonce ! The problem with Beyonce fans is that they don't know how to defend her, a fan was defending her and said she's beautiful, I was like so ? What do I care, isn't she a musician not a model. She some lot of weak points,but is a brilliant and dedicated artist. I think her song "Halo" is the most "mordern" R&B song ever, and would change R&B as we know it.

All in all, it was this performance that made me love her, and she was singing LIVE, Amazeballs !

But every single time I've a mention of Sade every single time,from back to Nigeria, to US and now in UK they write "Nigerian born British artist". I don't know what that means though Even when I was reading a peice on her being the most sucsssful British female artist of all times they still chimed in Nigeria. In my opinion, AirFrance isnt bad at all. I find that they leave and arrive on time.

Flights from London to Lagos are almost always only half full. baggage allowance is 2 of 23KG plus 1 hand luggage. The key is to check in as late as possible and they just rush you through.

Excess luggage is expensive though at £91 to make up your suitcase to 32kg

Seat size is average and customer service and inflight entertainement is OK

Ive flown most of the airlines on the London -Lagos route and to be honest they are almost all the same; It just takes one cocky cabin crew to ruin a flight.
