Oh okay, when you said Diva's were only known for singing skills. . Thought you were referring to Monroe. Your reply came right after Monroe's pics. Apologies smiley

Lmao. Brad wanted a family, she was still there whining about her upgrading her career. What career? Will she ever be close to a People's Choice Award talkless of Golden Globe/Oscar. Were. She's 10 yrs older than Jolie, when the hell was Brad gonna get his family from if not then?
Abeg. Good genes are not meant to be wasted. tongue I wouldnt even be so brash if she didnt disgrace herself with that foolish GQ cover. Desperate attention seeker
Jennifer Aniston has denied those rumors repeatedly. It's funny that people would believe Brad/Jolie's version of the truth when they said they NEVER slept together before the divorce ( even though Jolie confessed last year - jeez how stupid did people who believed them feel ? ),but would never agree with Aniston's side of the story. Talk about double standards.
But even if,what happened to today's woman ? You know the one that has dreams, wants a carrear and wants to do something with her life before kids? Yeah everyone talks a big game about womens right & feminism, but in the long wrong as just proven most are still closed minded and judgemental.

. . .  Still wondering aloud,how Aniston's name even got dragged into Jolie's acting skills ?

abeg leave the woman alone jare. at least she's a respectable actress unlike Aniston which is why she's alone
So now so called "good" actresses make better wives hmm sorry i meant better mistresses / baby mamas ? Nothing we no go hear sha.
I don't even know why Aniston is even being dragged into this but if that's the case Aniston has had 2 no 1 films this year alone, and we're in February !

And Jolie's movies / role are shitty anyway, She's either shooting 'em up bang bang or crying her eyes out, either way it's predictable and guaranteed to be boring.

why would angelina be mad about Kate's Oscar when she got hers years before Kate?
Oscar pass Oscar, best supporting actress is nothing compared to best actress. It's like comparing "sometimes" actress Jennifer Hudson's Oscar to the greats.

I love how Jolie keeps on taking roles she thinks will get her an Oscar - A Mighty Heart & co. They didn't even give her a nom then, and nothing now  smiley. FAIL !

Beyonce's fat ass and thighs are about to explode in that ugly sh*t. That ho ruins all award shows for me angry

tope2000:
Angelina Jolie- Classy but boring
Very boring in her ususal "black" uniform. She wears the same color and thing all the time to hide the fact that she has no fashion sense, and should really be on worst dress lists.

tope2000:
Sarah J P- Very cute
SJP was best dressed to me ! Very hawt, and when did she suddenly have breasts smiley

LAST NIGHT WAS GREAT ! - I love the Oscars, but people I root for never seem to win ( except Nicole Kidman in 2003 ),but last night was a dream. 3 of my people. I've been so pissed Sean Penn wasn't winning any awards and was glad he won. Same for Penelope Cruz, she hadn't been winning anything this season,so I was thrilled when she won Supporting Actress. Then the mighty Kate Winselt ! ! !,she deserves every single awards she's won for that role, when I saw The Reader ending of last year I just knew this was her year and I don't even like her that much. Although i was getting a bit scared,I felt there was going to be some sort of Oscar backlash. And Melissa Leo's performance in Forzen River was getting rave fews ( I've seen a few clips and if it wasn't Kate's year she would have def had a chance )
I don't think Heath Ledger deserved that award,if the man hadn't died he wouldn't be getting any. And was annoyed to see Beyonce performing. I've given up my radio and stopped listening to MTV for a while to avoid that heifer.
It was also great to see people I love who never seem to be at the Oscars - Aniston, SJP & Daniel Craig.
. . . And also love the looks on Brad & Jolie's face when they keep losing every award they've been nominated for this season. Jolie tries to keep her game face on and and smile like nothings up,but you know she wakes up at night screaming Kate! Kate! Damn you Kate!"

It's sad to see what Aretha Franklin has become - how could she let her self go like that ? And her voice, dayum,at Obama's inuguration,i was like ENOUGH ALREADY. I remember her first song - Respect. Those were the days . . .

The best performances are ones in "boring" films with no gimmicks, where only really good acting can keep the movie floating.

I have been flying Air France for years now,and haven't had or seen any experience close to that. The last time I even flew with them my luggage was over the limit, and I didn't have any cash with me,yet they were so efficient in helping me get things arranged, personally best airline I've ever flown. . . But to each his own I guess.

@ ctrume

Thanks, just checked, and you're right Aston is ranked second highest for Managment courses ( Msc ),have you already made your application. No GMAT is not compulsory, but I'm just doing it to make my application stand a better chance,it's even written on their web site that GMAT is not complusory. I hope your application is sucsessful, what other schools did you apply to ?

@ Sagamite

Thanks for the advice, will keep that in mind.
I've also added East Anglia to the mix, doing as much reeaerch as I can on it,it's in top 20 in the UK,and they accept 2 2,so what do you think. I also read your past posts and found out the importance of going to a "red brick school".I'm really counting on Sheffield.
Let me know what you think Bro.

Everyone . . Thanks a lot for the advice, has given me perspective

@ Sagamite, thank you very much for the advice,Regarding your questions - I have no work experience at all( I graduated Sept 2008 ),and plan on going for the Msc Sept 2009, I plan on working in the UK for about 2 years before coming back home with the Msc & and some working experience.
So,what do you think ? If you suggest Sheffield, would I likely get a job of junior management after completing the Msc ?

EducationAston, Sheffied Or Cranfield For Msc by kadman(op): 10:33am On Jan 13, 2009
Being that I graduated with a 2.2 from Unilag ( 2.9 ) CGPA. I don't have a lot of options of good universities to choose from. I've found 3 good schools who would accept me provided I have a good GMAT score.

- Aston
- Sheffied
- Cranfield

I am confused out of which to pursue seriously. My problems are Aston & Shefield offer International Business Mangament, which I think I have a better chance of getting a job with.
While Cranfield is offering me Marketing, which I am worried is too streamlined, and I might not get a good job with. Cranfield Business School is top ranked, and they promise to all students of getting a job within 2 months of graduation. I don't know how true ?

My problem with Sheffied & Aston is although their Universities are top ranked, their Business Schools are not in any ranking ! And I don't know how well their graduates do in the job market.

I'm also thinking of a PG Degree in Manchester,it's not as good as an Msc,so I don't know if I would get a job with only a PG Degree

Any advice ?

If you can take time to read this thread from the first page to the last,it would tell you everything you need to know. It's more informative than anything anyone could tell you.
I also added a link below by a nairaland user paribus. It's informative, and very properly planned, that's the guideline i plan to use for my own student visa application next year.

Hello All,

a quick question okay maybe questions

- what's the difference between tourist visa and family visa. I ask because the last time i applied it was simply visit visa or family visa
- the word sponsor does it just refer to those who finance your trip or also those who accomodate you
Tourist Visa is basically applying for the visa with hotel reservation as a TOURIST

Family Visit Visa is as the name implies applying for a visa to visit family.

Sponsor refers to who finances your trip

- Host is the person who accomodates you. You fill their name in the section "where would you be staying". Hope this helps.
