underdog - someone everyone loves's to hate - get with the program already. And that's the downside of being a so called celeb,we get to call them what ever we want, what feelings ? they're rolling in the millions we give them.

@ all

i f u want to say someone is overrated in ur opinion, then go ahead. but what pains me is anyone thinking he or she is better than somebody by trying to bring d person down. all this calling someone a IndecentStar or a pinhead is uncalled for. anyhow, for the record, i think oprah winfrey is waaaaaay overrated.
FYI I agree Oprah is way over rated,I can't stand her pretentious fat ass,but we weren't being anyone down. Paris Hilton actually has a Indecency flick called One Night In Paris - so she's a IndecentStar. When asked about the war in Iraq her answer was that's hot - if that isn't a pin head then what is ?

@ maedan

After looking at your profile, you sound like an intelligent woman,I know a part of us always supports the underdog, but isn't rooting for Paris Hilton going too far ? That woman is good at nothing, after listening to her album I actually had the urge to kill myself, her movies are wack and she wins razzies, her perfume smells like dog sh!t. She couldn't even f*ck properly in her Indecency, what is that ho actually good at  ? And you call that hardwork ? confused

Lol. Oyb, exactly!
Madam maedan obviously has a thing for porn stars. cheesy cheesy
Imagine the guts! Daring to call Paris Hilton an actress! Donatella Versace is more Oscar worthy. undecided
He he,for some reason that makes me laugh. But bitch deserves an Oscar for best make up,she looks like an ET
As I said before Paris Hilton has an album but is not a singer, she acts ( and has 4 razzies ) but is not an actress, what the fu ck is she ?

Madonna Is Soooo Over Those Dumb Asses in Malawi

Proving once again that she is a survivor,Madonna was out in the town last night with designer Stella McCartney. . . and looking good wink

Foreign AffairsRe: Madonna Baby Drama by kadman(m): 5:24pm On Apr 07, 2009
I don't know why people would even suggest that it's a publicity stunt, the woman had one of the best selling albums of last year and broke a record ( set by herself ) by having the most sucssesful tour of a solo artist of all times, what the hell does she  need publicity for ?

Plus, Madonna is a single mother now. There's nowhere in the world where adoption is easy for single mothers. smiley
Well that's true

spikedcylinder:
When Madonna was asked how she keeps David in touch with his roots and family, she told the press she had a map of Africa in this bedroom with arrows pointing at Malawi! Arrows!  cheesy cheesy cheesy[/color]

Ha ha ! That's mad funny, and that exactly a thing Madonna would say,to be honest that's why I the woman, but on a serious note, she said one of the reasons for adpoting Mercy was so David wouldn't feel alone, you know as a black kid in a white world, and  get to be sibiling with someone from the same country, isn't that saner than Jolie, who wants to raise a human zoo in her home.

Being manic doesn't always have to be a bad thing. When I referred to her as maniacal, my point was to portray her as an extremely enthused woman who does everything(!) within her power to get what she wants including buying children. smiley

Very true on that score

What?!?!? shocked shocked Mercy (the new girl) is three years old now. If she noticed the child two years ago, then she must have been old enough to travel seeing as David Banda was the same age at the time. Delayed love perhaps? huh

[/quote}

I guess she couldn't adpot 2 kids so close together, she met Mercy when she was in the process of adpoting David, guess she couldn't adpot 2 so close together, even 2 years apart and see all the media backlash. . .

Tyranny? If you had issues with what I said on that thread, please address it there and I will respond to you. On this thread however, no one is stupid because they said something quite different from what you have said. Geddit? huh
Nope no issues,on the contary you're one of my fave people on this forum, but it's wrong that you can call people stupid ( in other words ),and you feel I shouldn't. That's all
TravelRe: Ikeja Hotel Recommendation? by kadman(m): 4:17pm On Apr 06, 2009
That's okay,if there's something I know it's hotels,as I have to stay in one every Friday night after clubbing( my stupid street has a curfew and locks the gate ).
Lasal is also good, but might be outta your price range, worth checking though.

Definately not Welcome Center - I know that one.
Hotels below 15k would probably not have a website,I'll get back to you on their names,it's a booming business so they all ALL OVER that estate and better than Elomaz but much cheaper cuz of competition. I stayed in one last week for 9k. I'll get back in a bit on their names

Don't be ridiculous. People have differing opinions all the time, doesn't make either POV stupid. undecided undecided
If I don't share someone's point of view,it's because mostly I would think it's stupid, that's the basis of an argument, and that's why we have a forum. In another thread you just called someone razz for not sharing your point of view. Diffrent scenario, but same logic. . .
TravelRe: Ikeja Hotel Recommendation? by kadman(m): 3:15pm On Apr 05, 2009
Don't know much on Ikeja hotels ( apart from Elomaz ),which you've already dissed, but hotels in Ajao Est - That's near Ikeja and the airport, are all new and cheap because they are new. There are some just off the road for easy access very near the airport, you can't miss it.

On the contrary it's really all about sentimentality for me, if it was someone I didn't know/didn't like,I won't even be aware of the whole brouhaha. But I can still be open minded enough to realise Madonna would provide this child the best life she would ever have.
And while we are on the issue of sentiments,do you think if it were a normal woman who wasn't a celebrity with no eyes of the media on them Malawi won't have handed the kid over pronto ? Orphanges need people to adpot in Western countries where the kids fare better than Malawi.

And what is maniac about being at the top of your game no matter the age. That goes to perseverance & hardwork after 25 years in your career, and looking good at 50 is what everyone should strive at - celeb or not. Seriously where those all the "Madonna is a maniac" points you could come up with ?? I thought you'd throw some Erotica Era stuff at me.

Madonna has noticed the child since 2007,but she wasn't old enough to travel or something like that,so for the last 2 years she's been keeping her eye out for her, that is love.

You answered the question yourself no promotion, no benefits, chances of conversion to staff very slim, intimidation in the office dey too etc

Someone gave you the best answer above, work till Sept then cut out for your masters, that's what I am doing. Wish I had a Dad who'd pay mine.
Don't mind stupid people saying your Pop would pay another time, then he would tell you you're a working man,and can stand alone, and stories like that. Be smart.

It is the girl “Mercy” I feel sorry for. Her life would have changed drastically in such a good way.
One can only hope the girl will be okay in that poverty ridden country.

Funny place that continent Africa, when you need the “law” it is nowhere to be found but when it is absolutely not needed some people start shouting oh but it is the law!
Exactly, sometimes I'm just so sick of Africa

Yeah I've seen it,a few years back, was still in secondary school,I try to see all Paltrow movies,I really don't know why I love her - she's an average actress at best, she's cold and unfeeling in almost all her roles and comes across very annoying an snobbish in her interviews yet I really like her huh

means you like bullshit movies and actors/actresses

megan Good is pretty but hardly worth calling an actress
