Family › Re: How Can I Politely Tell My Friend To Stop Coming To My House For Now? by Karleb(m): 9:27am On Feb 10, 2023
KeyEndurance:
I have this friend of mine who likes visiting my house every blessed day. Before that things were moving well, whenever he visited, he must demand for food and I usually make him happy by given him his needs.

But now, everybody knows how Nigeria is. Since last week, this my friend never stopped coming to my house and I am the kind of guy that's struggling to survive and he Is Coming To my House to add His Problem To My Own Again.

The Things Is Disturbing my Mind But I Don't know What To Tell Him to Stop coming For Now.
Teach him the hard lesson that you can't always get what you want in life.

When next he comes, tell him there's nothing on ground.

But if it was your so called wife that needed help, I'm sure she would happily get the guy's number and knock at his door at ungodly hour and you wouldn't see anything wrong with that.

The worse he could have done would be to ask her out and she'll tell him no. I don't think there's a crime in that. He haven't even done that sef.

Do you know how funny it is that I wanted to talk to my neighbor and the next is I'm getting a call from her fiancé that I have never met, I would have shouted fantastic 10x because wtf is that? You even challenged him on the phone?

If we find out, your girl fit no reach girls wey him dey date.

Politics › Re: An Unbiased Analysis Of The Presidential Election by Karleb(m): 8:24pm On Feb 09, 2023
You are a political illiterate if you think Tinubu is not in this race.

Even when Buhari won Goodluck, Goodluck still had a lot of votes. Same goes for Atiku in 2019.

Tinubu is still very much in in this election. He is going to get a lot of votes too. Forget all the balablu.

You don't accuse me of seeing this topic as an attack on women when it really is and even more. If a female had created a thread where the scenario is reversed and still goes on to blame the victim, I believe you won't be this calm. I have read threads where women are blamed for everything. And here is just the digital representation of what is going on offline. Women are blamed for their decisions, indecisions, actions and inactions.
If the judges are saint with no flaws it would have been better but men are not flawless.

So because women have no time like you claimed, they should be blame for men's undoings and shouldn't be given breathing space? They are not allowed to make mistakes? Are they perfect? Please this is not a Woman/Men thing for me don't make it so. My point is Op shouldn't have been myopic with his observation and even generalized what is not!

Make everybody raise standard make we come see who go cry more on Nl nah grin grin
No problem brotherly. We go dey alright last last.

One love! ❤️
Family › Re: Why Do Women Knowingly Marry Deadbeats? by Karleb(m): 6:30pm On Feb 06, 2023
Persephone1:
Oh really? Now you categorizing the standard? So this one is first hand broke guy or second hand? You really do not have a point here. Her crime is chosing to be with someone she has feelings for?

I find it very sad that you can neglect a never do well who can't provide, protect and direct for his family and still causes trouble but you clearly see a poor lady who is a victim of her feelings as the only one with issues. Do you hold same standard for men who choose boobs and bum over good virtues in women when their marriages go down the drain?

You are really not being fair right now!
Why do you have this us against them mindset?

Men and women suffer from terrible choices, but women have a lot to lose and they don't have the luxury of time men do, so they have to be smart with their partner choices.

A man can decide to not do his duties, even abscond or start a new life at 45, women can't.

It's just like with career, a woman can decide to stick to a low paying job for life, infact, a lot of women do and they are still considered successful but a man is never successful until he does something great with his life.

Are the women themselves different from deadbeats? Birds of a feather flock together
Exactly! Some women are exactly like the deadbeats and irresponsible guys they follow.

There are women who till tomorrow will tell you, if a man doesn't beat a girl, he does not love her.

I also hope that he wins man..But K, think about it.. he can't do it by himself...

If he wins for example, all the corrupt legislators that are present in this Buhari's administration and are probably looking to retain their positions, are they going to round them up and cast them into the lake of fire?

They will still be there... In the civil service, all the bad workers, all the corrupt commissioners in this present administration, are they going to go with Buhari's administration if Peter happens to win? Won't they still be there?

Honestly, corrupt practices have eaten deep into Nigerian system... He ( Peter) can't be everywhere even if he wins... Many present senators that have never said or done anything good in Nigeria apart from their selfish interest will still be there.. Can u now see my fear buddy?
It's going to be hard but he can at least do better than Buhari. Way better!

I personally believe Ministers are the back bone of the country, if he can choose his ministers carefully and not use it as a reward for stewardship. It will go a long way.

Also, if there are clear terms on ground where a minister risks getting sacked for underperforming or a senator getting impeached for embezzlement. Infact, all he need do is make one or two examples and the rest will fall in line.

The president still wields a lot of power, as long as he won't be a passive president who just yes and sign anything brought to his table, the nation will do better, at least, I dare say, way better than its doing presently.

Let's just see as the reality will unfold.

I am really hoping PO will not disappoint. He is like the last life line for good governance in Nigeria.

If he should emerge and fail to deliver for whatever reasons, a lot of young adults will lose interest in politics for life.

No where have I seen anyone blame doctors for IVF failure, instead they say "God knows best" or "it's for a reason". If people choose not to acknowledge doctors it doesn't affect anyone, people also acknowledge God in normal delivery and C.S without mentioning doctors, what makes that of IVF different?

You think Nigeria is so special that tragedies like that can't happen? Your question should be, can people die in that door or not?
You know what? Have a nice day.

Jovialjune1:
Get enlightened or go watch YouTube videos and see stories like the Op, it is possible for him to be locked permanently, suffocate and die

And yes, IVF fails, it has failed countless times, the ability of micro organisms to form another living breathing human cannot be explained by scientists, you think egg and semen has a mind of its own to form only humans? even researchers, all they've successfully proven are assumptions and permutations, never 100% facts, so yes, a supernatural spiritual being made it possible, ours is God, so we choose to credit and honor him, and it doesn't affect your existence.
You are an ungrateful person.

You easily blame doctors for IVF failure but can't acknowledge them when it succeed. I am not even saying you shouldn't glorify God but at least, acknowledge your doctors just like we do in project acknowledgement.

You even call the sex gametes mico-organisms. grin You honestly have no idea how the process works.

Quick question, how many people have died in that door in Nigeria?
