Uncle you might think you are an introvert where as you are just shy, lack confidence and have a low self esteem. That is different

I can also see that you're pain cos some introverts describe their life as cool and serene, if you are not a blabber mouth like the ex... that you are, you will know that nothing is perfect
This is what I love about extroverts.

They don't care about all these things you people say, they just live.

Goodluck!

A true introvert( not those that are shy or don't know how to socialize, then holed up and start claiming introvert, while they wish to be the popular kid) is never lonely.
As a matter of fact, it's the extroverts that are usually lonely and they can't bear to be alone, so they always looking for the next high to run far from being lonely. While deep inside, they're never ok.

Personally, I hate it when people try to keep me company thinking I'm lonely because I'm alone( in my head I usually tell them to Bleep off n stop invading my privacy).
If the op is looking to make adjustments in her lifestyle, is very normal and you and your likes calling her a lair are actually the confused lots. If I'm indoor for a very long time, my system will seek going out, adjusting, and enjoy a new experience which are perfectly normal and there's nothing wrong with me.
You can even see how she avoided running amok when some folks on here were asking her for her location and contact.
Now we have true and false introverts?

Anyway, if the life you live is so perfect, why try to adjust it? undecided

If you're life was so enjoyable and perfect, why then do you speak of implementing those measures to change it. Your entire post is a bit contradictory.

I find that most introverts are not being entirely honest with their introversion and desire to socialize. For the most part, a lot know that there's a void of social interaction that they yearn to be filled. But they talk as if they're living in paradise, yet talk within the same epistle, talk of implementing measures to switch up their supposedly perfect life. It's contradictory.
It's also an introvert delimma. I say this cuz I'm one
I've often said it, times without number.

No matter how perfect they say their lives are, they are always striving to better it because they lacking in the aspect of socializing.

I admire those who address this and are doing their best about it. But, some so called senior introverts are of the notion that introverts are perfect the way they are, which is wrong and dangerous.

A lot of introverts need help in real life. It's sad they are not being encouraged to go for this help because their senior colleagues believe they are perfect. Nonsense! angry

One way to help yourself as an introvert is to throw away the "introvert tag", and stop trying to fit in into the pseudo perfect introvert life.

Just do you.

This is why we should collectively shame people like this who don't stick to agreement, people who betray trust.

But some women would celebrate this if it was a man that got betrayed. One major reason why this menace would be around for a long time.

not interested in politics. I have an history in politics, the whole thing is too dirty. Too much lies. You lie till you believe it to be the only truth. Way back in 2011 i lead a large group of online campaigners for ACN, my life was threatened by the very members of the same party. I was also the brain behind the subsidy protest in akure under the banner of Omoluabis. I am not doing party politics ever again.
I'm happy you made it out alive. cheesy

Any death for any political alliance in Nigeria is a waste.

If Abiola can die for nothing, what are we?

It's those youths that wasted their lives in 2019 I pity most.

O is a Prefix for Comradeship..

Once a Female friend is Married ... I changed it to "e" to mark my respect for her marital life and Mix with "O" once we are together ....

A colleague of mine got Married to a girl in my Department she was in 300L while I was in year 2 of Masters .... Very Junior to me age ....

I started using "e"(Prefix for Respect) for Her Once she Married my Colleagues even while they were dating .... E.g Sister Ayoka, e bami ki Bro Seye ..(Sister Ayoka, help me greet seye) ...

That's Our Culture....

I could sound English by Saying "Ayoka ba mi ki Seye" .... (Ayoka, Greet seye):

Bros, what you just described here has nothing to do with Yoruba culture.

It's your preference. You even use "e" for women in relationships? C'mon! undecided

There is no place in Yoruba culture that recommends what you are practicing.

It's just your preference!

There are street senior sisters of mine that have gotten married and have kids, I still call them what I used to call them before they were married.

Very good topic , Lagos comes with a lot of expenses but it always favour business people than salary earners .
I left Ibadan to start my business in Lagos at 2019 and it's 4 years already but i can never archive what I have in Ibadan if have not make that decision.

I never rented house at mainland ,lekki or expensive area just to make things easier and have my business not far from where I stay.
I only have one boy so I won't be spending much but I have 4 boys now .
So Lagos is the best to grow u just have to plan urself well .
Exactly. How many jobs of 100k are outside of Lagos?

Forget it, Lagos is the place if you want to grow your career or business. It comes with the stress of course but not everyone in Lagos live in those expensive areas.

After the growth, you can go back to your village but I'm tired of people talking about the stress alone.

The stress comes with its own rewards if you know what you are doing.

phr0nesis:
I recently made an observation concerning the accents used in Black Panther. Personally, I don't think it's necessary and here is my reason:
Wakanda had no colonial masters, therefore their official language was definitely not English, hence they shouldn't be communicating in English but rather their native language.

As for their audience, since we/they are predominantly English speakers, they can take a cue from "Prey". From the beginning of Prey, they let us know what language the natives were speaking and then switched to English; in other words, the natives were speaking their language according to the film, but for our listening pleasure the movie was done in English. In like manner, the Wakandans should have stuck with their regular American accents but indicate somehow that they aren't speaking English. Those accents were just terrible
.

Prey and black panther are two different project, by two different teams and for different purposes.

The accent was really necessary and it brought out the beauty of the movie, same with woman king.

How did you know his age?

Being an adult has no correlation whatsoever with moving in or out of their parents property.

What do you mean by "he has no business staying in his father's house at that age"?

Who told you he is getting disrespect from his parents. C'mon man!

Change the way you think. There is nothing wrong with staying with one's parent at whatsoever age.
