In reality igbos and Yorubas have always and Will continue to co existed peacefully.
But since APC is scared of losing to LP
They have started using propaganda to create enemity between igbos and Yorubas. So as to discredit the lagos labour party candidate who is half Yoruba half Igbo.
You don't need all these explanations.

Let him believe whatever he wants to.

That was exactly how they wanted out so much but became surprisingly interested in Nigeria when they had Peter Obi and now he wants to quit Nigeria.

If Buhari had given up or called for northern fracture, would he had become president after his 4th trial.

Everyone knows its the political thugs causing the havoc but if he wants to put it on all the tribe or most of it, then that's his cup of tea.

Maybe if South Eastern governors had shown Obi the half of the love Yoruba people did, maybe, just maybe, he might be president by now.

If he wants to champion his seccession cause, he should quit his job, go to South East and enjoy the heaven corrupt politicians built there.

I'm tired of these victimhood abeg. angry

I am tired of all these lazy fortune tellers.

Since 1999 till now, the only time power was taken from the incumbent political party was in 2015. That's 1 in 6 attempts in 23 years.

so its was very easy to predict that APC would win.

If Jonathan had played his card well, by now, the new president will be Atiku of PDP.

Stop with all these I said so.

I won't mention names of locations and start receiving online bashing. I suggest you make calls to people living or that know people in newly developed sites before 2016/18. Not even talking of black market, you could get the fuel issue online or still make calls, differential in pump price between SW and other geopolitical zones is not something new
We actually moved to our house in a "permanent site" in 2006 from a town nearby. We contributed money to fix the poles, bought wires and we've been paying our bills ever since.

I ended a call with my mum now and she said OBJ developed the north more than SW. Although she can't recall whether the pump price was ever lesser in SW.

I'd suggest you mention area that enjoyed free electricity in SW, so people can confirm or refute it. It's an anonymous forum, no body really knows you.

obj was not sw choice..
tinubu is sw choice reason why the sw voted for him massively, unlike obj that lost the sw votes..
tinubu will bring development projects to sw..
Maybe SW didn't vote for OBJ.

But why is his home town not paradise? Why does Sango still have bad roads.

This dude was president for 8 years, he could have made Sango a paradise.

President coming from your region is not going to change anything with this expensive imported democracy.
But I need to let you know that most times the pump price from '99 to '05 in other regions was higher than SW. And some communities in SW were not paying for electricity too until like 5-6 years ago
Please mention those communities if you can.
I grew up in a town in Ondo State and even in the village nearby, there was never a time people didn't pay for electricity.

You said most times? Can you provide instances. Even tho I was little then, I remember people selling black market because of fuel scarcity.

I would like you to give example concerning this fuel thing. I am ready to make calls to verify this your claim.

@OP, when the presidency comes from your region, food prices would come down in your markets. Fuel would be cheaper in your region. You would have constant electricity. Are those not enough? Nigerians still have a long way to go
Why were fuel and food prices not cheaper in SW from '99 to '05?

I grew in SW and we didn't have constant light in the early 2000s, even tho we were Yoruba and the president was Yoruba.

We heard that Hausas do not pay for electricity and they enjoy it constantly.

How is this so?

ask Pandora why Anambra still has the worstest road in the world despite being their governor for 8 years. This shows that evn if he becomes the president there is no assurance of bringing any tangible things to his region or Nigeria at large.
That's not the point.

Tinubu is now the new president.

But what will you enjoy under his administration that Emeka who voted PITOBI wouldn't?

How exactly will that benefit us?

Remember Obj was in power for 8 years too and was also a general but we still covet power to better our region again. Why?

Shouldn't the 8 years have turned SW to paradise?

Why does Ogun still have bad roads?

I don't see the fuss. You should be proud as a Yoruba man. Tinubu will strengthen your economy more. I only feel for igbos and northern christians
Brother, let me tell you for a fact that there's nothing I can enjoy or endure more than an average igbo or hausa person in the next 4 years.

Infact, if you have more influence and money, you will enjoy this present administration than those that are buying asoebi.

Obasanjo ruled during military era, he was president for 8 years but the roads in Akwa Ibom are way better than those in Ogun. One would expect Ogun to be a paradise by now. undecided

The man runs his own cabal, he already has a list of those he will put in power and there are not the average Joes.

The only thing a Yoruba person has is just the bragging right. It's like supporting Real Madrid, you can brag and post about how you love the club all day because they always win but if you don't have a direct business with them, there is no way their success will benefit you. Ever!

How will it feel if you are both ugly and flat?

Same thing happens with rich people, you see them rich and obese or ugly. Even with the skin care, they still come out ugly while there are a lot of poor people who are effortlessly attractive.

Life is not all bad, there is always a consolation.

Those guys that are whining don't know anything, those girls are not beautiful.

WannaHowzit:
South Africa goes to the general elections in 2024 and since democracy in 1994 vote counting is transparent and done in real time.

All the 9 provinces have their own monitoring centres with electronic boards which relay the info to the capital Pretoria for the national vote.

Perhaps this is a method Nigeria could use in future to ensure transparency.
They money we wasted on the shambles we call election can get this SA system and more.

But we have some idiots who will not let it work e.g. Inec chairman. That's why we need good government. We need good government to get good government.

I don't think poverty will increase in tinubu tenure. Give the man a chance and don't judge him based on buhari antecedents.
Shey you dey whine me ni?

Tinubu obviously does not know anything about governance aside those ancient tactics.

The man is practically useless without his money and influence.

He is going to make so much blunder that even cassava people will campaign for either Obi or Atiku in the next four years.

For one, I can predict a dollar will be N1, 000 before next year.
