Something you and FiverrTutor don't seem to understand is that there's a huge difference between interviews and getting jobs. Even GLND sends random invites in Lagos. Just as you get invites, hundreds of others do. Las Las na when you show your eyes go clear.

However, I agree that if you have a good skill, Lagos is the right place for you. Good skill in this context means IT and marketing. In fact, if you are a good marketer in Lagos, making it is as easy as ABC because the market (population) is already here.
The more interview you attend, the more your chances of getting a job. In some states where you don't have as much jobs as in Lagos, you'd still compete with hundreds of people.

It's better you compete where there are more jobs. Some graduates do get upto 5 genuine interviews in a year in other states. Besides, there are GLNDs everywhere.

Talking of skills, it doesn't ends with IT and marketing. Music, Fashion Design, Shoe Marking, Barbing, Hair Dressing, Events and Catering Services, Make Up etc. are in demand skills that'll move very fast in a place like Lagos even for people that are not experts.

Lagos hard. Lagos tough die! No be beans bro! I was born and bred here in Lagos. I'm a graduate with good a result and some experience in Procurement and sales. I still don't have a job atm. I've attended over 100 interviews here in Lagos. Though destiny differs. Yours might be different.

All the best
If truly you've attended over 100 interviews and currently don't have a job then you might be too selective.

In some states, it's so bad that there are no interviews to attend. It's just that bad.

@op ill advise you to move to Lagos. Forget all those doom talkers here. See let me tell u mine. I presently reside in Portharcourt, but you won't believe that between January this year to now I have done over 20 interviews and gotten over 7 juicy job offers already and Guess what, all this were from companies in Lagos!!! I mean not a single Interview or offer from this shithole called Portharcourt. The problem I have is that I live in a very comfortable house here in portharcourt and I have nobody in Lagos. I do feel so so sad sometimes. I had no choice than to accept the last job offer that came luckily they haven't set up their office yet in Victoria Island(I'm on salary). So I'm using the time now to save so I can get a place in Lagos to stay even if it's one room. Please move!!!
Don't mind those people. It's like how our uncles tell us there's nothing oversea. That Nigeria is better.

One thing Lagosians don't understand is that they're naturally ahead of many Nigerians. If you have an in demand skill, Lagos is the best place to be.

@OP
Worst that can happen is that you fail and you go back. But don't quit before trying.

Let him at least try. Lastly, not everyone is from a village.

They told me my target is 30m to 50m, that my salary will be 50 percent for the first 3 months, no provision wasade for car that will take us around to potential clients.

After walking around the city without any serious contact, I rested under a tree for sometime, used the remaining transport allowance to refresh myself and I decided I have to stop the job.
This is funny! grin

These pundits talk to much. Especially this particular Neville. Why did he failed woefully at Valencia if coaching was easy? I remember how Mourinho ridiculed Scholes after he left a coaching job after a month or so.

They talk too much abeg.

Nigerians are just wicked. It's funny that those that passed through this hardship will still subject others to same hardship or worse when they have their own companies.

Dropped my proposal letter in a big school and the director said he'll give me the job to work as a part-time Teacher . Then he said I must meet him somewhere first.

On the said day, he called until his battery ran down, I didn't pick. As for the Job, I didn't go back for it again..
Why didn't you just tell him you can't show up or you don't do such rather than agreeing only to not show up?

Almost a week. The only thing I know about it is that there's a language called JS. cry cry
cheesy

You'll be alright.

For now don't think of building anything with it. Just try to grasp it.

Learn stuffs like how to declare variables with Let and Const keywords. Why it's preferred to keyword like Var.

Variable scope.

If else logic.

for each. etc.

Trust me, learning JavaScript in 2021 is easier than learning it 4yrs ago. The only downside to learning it in 2021 is that there are a lot to learn. But don't panic, no one expects you to know everything.
Programming › Re: Effective Methods To Grasp JAVASCRIPT Easily. by Karleb(m): 1:26pm On Apr 19, 2021
How long have you been learning JavaScript?

It takes an average of 3 months to wrap your head around Javascript for most people.

My advice is you go to YouTube and download all those series with short short videos explaining the concept of JavaScript.

If a particular video/tutor doesn't suit you, download another and try to code along with the tutor.

It is not an easy task for the management unless they can sell Pogba. Which quality Midfielder can man Utd get for 50 million euros
You can sell Pogba and end up buying flops, complete disasters with the so called profits.

A case of Neymar, Dembele, Coutinho should come to mind.

I don't get why people want Pogba out so bad. I mean, the management are not even complaining about his salary. They offered him that in the first place.

United faithfuls on this thread should just b calming down. That's how some wanted Cavani out, I mean, for whathuh?

Lol....its still the same thing I'm saying. An international trophy is for the team. What if he's the team's squad and doesn't play a single match(say just two matches and he's now injured) in a tournament and Arg still goes ahead to win? Which player has an international trophy in his trophy cabinet?....does Mbappe have the 2018 WC trophy in his house or does Ronaldo have the Euro 2016 trophy in his house? Now Messi has individual trophies in Argentine colors too, two golden balls; one in the 2014 WC and another in 2015 Copa America.
You people like back and fort ehn!

International trophies is for the team but don't the players get medals?

Did Messi single handedly played the whole field?

Fact check! Messi's first UCL was more or less a gift.

Do individual achievements worth more than trophies? DO. THEY?!

You people should just enjoy. grin

My husband just complained of this same thing yesterday.

He said junior staff in his organisation who earn 80k and below will just be popping out kids.

Once madam born, they will now come to his office to say "Mr so so and so, our wife done born again o). They are looking for money from you.

After calculating his much of such money he gives out weekly, it amounts to roughly 25-30k. My guy done lock up o. No more giving them money to encourage their irresponsibility.

Having 4kids on an 80k salary.

What kind of life do you want to give them?
grin

There is a lady in my neighborhood, she has 6 kids. Her first born is not upto 10.

Their gross income (husband and wife) in a month is not upto to 30k.

I don't even pity her.

I was talking about this in church today, these people should just go for vasectomy and hysterectomy. If you factor in what it takes to raise a kid in this Buhari economy, they should be taking those options.

Even my own parents are guilty of this. These are educated people o. Their only saving grace is the gap between us.

grin

Riddle me this puzzle. Student A and B attend the same school but different classes, say SS1A and SS1B (both science classes). Anytime both classes meet in inter-class competition, SS1A carries the day. Student A and B both represents their classes in those competitions. On a subject level, student B tend to do well than student A.

Who is the best student among them?
Oga I don't care about your riddle. I don't care if you think Messi is better than anyone and everyone in Portugal.

Lol bro.....he can actually forfeit 300 games and still win more international trophies and UCL than CR7. He can stay on the bench throughout and Argentina and Barca can win trophies, this is why UCL, WC and the rest are team trophies. The ballondors, golden boots and golden balls are individual awards and heavily reliant on an individual's overall input. Happy Sunday.
Yet he has 142 international appearances without a trophy to his name.
