If Justice Walter Onnoghen, a serving Chief Justice of Nigeria stood trial before the CCT for not declaring his assets diligently, a second runner up should stand trial.
Nobody is above the law. As an Anambra man, I need justice!
The petty thief must return what he looted from Anambra. If he claims it was not looted, then he must inform the CCT why he didn't declare it as a public official. No other way about it.

He was jumping from Church to Church asking Christians to take back their country, so much so, in Anambra, APGA Catholics were divided against LP Catholics. Yet, this shameless goat is denying the obvious. In same vein, he deployed tribal sentiments as a caimpaign tool. His visits to Lagos was strictly to his kinsmen whom he thought their block votes would help deliver to him the wealth of Lagos. He deliberately ensured that all the LP agents in Lagos were all ibos, with a recent revelation from Cossy that they supported him because he would create seaport in Anambra, purely trialistic motive. His media team are 100% ibos in a party of diverse ethnic compositions. Worst of all, is an attempt to identify with the youths whom he was accused of killing as a Governor, when he was summoned by EndSars panel to be investigated for his role, he quickly ran to the court to obtain an injunction, yet some gullible youths allowed him to use their head to break coconut and as long as he spew his usual gibberish, they are ready to swallow his poo like a brainless mannequin. Him use Twitter fanbase from the #EndSars movement. Him no dey give shishi but would have happily bought PDP form for 100 million. Him lie for national TV with tears after being defeated but Obidients are happy to sweep it under the carpet. Of the three aspirants, only one can be defined as a true liberal and astute politician and it's not PO. The only reason this guy has the fanbase he does is because of the Lekki massacre the government denied. The Lekki massacre was a presidential order, the kind of order that can be given by a leader with military background. Collateral damage is a term the military uses like pure water. Now, 90% of celebrities who are online influencers live at Lekki and they know it's not a conspiracy that people were killed at the Lekki tollgate. They campaigned heavily against the ruling party combined with the fact that PDP wasn't anything to write home about, used their online presence to endorse PO thereby influencing millions of followers who can't think for themselves into choosing the preferred presidential candidate. The sad part is indigenes of Anambra should have come out strongly against him since they know first hand how incapable PO is in position of power. They know he's a religious fanatic but only the Christian type. Instead, they supported him for the selfish reason of seeing an Igbo man as president with him campaigning strongly against the ruling party's Muslim Muslim ticket even though the party gave Nigeria it's first pastor as VP and about to give it it's first First Lady who is the same despite the incoming President being a practicing Muslim....so it's about tribe and religion. Make Dem no fool anybody. His level of desperation to be president is sickening. He said it's God's will for him to win...so elections are about the will of God not the will of the people? In the grand scheme of things 4 years isn't a lot. If he truly believes in God's will he'd wait another 4 years but as we all know (those of us that have sense) he's just desperate for power and his major political affiliations are in PDP so they would rule by proxy and nothing really changes but in Asiwaju, we have someone with track record who is awesome in his human resource management but what do I know, I'm not daft enough for influencers to determine who I vote for with Twitter hashtags. Nonsense. |

Family › Re: Marriage Is Just all About Responsibility, Nothing Special. by Karnice600: 10:06am On Mar 27, 2023 |
Adexgentle005: That’s just the fact! When I was a bachelor, I know how much I spend and save every month. Fast forward to when I got married, it’s all about bills, bills and bills.
I just checked my OPay transaction history and I couldn’t believe how much I’ve spent in just two months.
This thing called marriage is just responsibility and nothing more. If you are not financially stable or you have other side hustle that bring extra money, please don’t get married.
My 2 cents! Well for me it's more than responsibilities. If you carry a cross without a glory in focus, you'll burn out..,out of frustration. Goals and purpose make those responsibilities worthwhile. On the other hand, your companion also matters. If you trek a long distance alone, you'll wear out faster. If you trek with someone, it gets easier. If you trek with a crush, it gets shorter. Its more about the fulfilment than the sacrifices- Talking about what keeps you driving. I told a friend sometime ago shortly before his wedding that he should raise a number of kids, at a pace he won't see them as liabilities. If you can fly and maneuver beautifully with one or two, then stick with that and lavish them with the quality of resources you have available. Marriage is like fire. It either burns you or cooks you and nothing else. I take responsibility for my kids, I feel the pains but I enjoy what we have. My wife and I don't plan alone sometimes. Especially when we'll be expecting a guest who'll stay for days. We call the kids together and tell them and ask them what they think. Sometimes they even suggest the guest comes with his or her child if they have one. I and my wife will look at our budget and tell them we could make the kid come alone without the parent during holls.., its just that. So for me its goals and glory. Even though it is written man must hustle. That one dey. In the aspect of bills, you plan to kill some bills. If you buy or build a house, house rent is gone for life. If that bill is your biggest threat in your marriage, plan to kill it first, even before the kids arrive. Learn to kills bills. Feeding is an eternal bill. School fees is for an extended period. Long standing ailment could be another. God help us. My friend just went green two years ago. Started with inverter and a few batteries. Today he's installed solar panels and can run 24/7 without depending on NEPA. Although he stopped using his AC. Only uses it when on generator or NEPA supply once in a while. This will pay him on the long run. Enjoy your cross bro. In as much as this your post could discourage intending bachelors, I'll tell you what, the woman you marry is as important as the mum who birthed you. She has the power to ruin you just like mum had the power to have ended you. |

They should focus on winning in court, uniting the country and working for the populace. He and FFK will only ruin this dispensation if they get in... Tinubu really needs to surround himself with intelligent and wise folks. This is the problem. Whether he surrounds himself with Moses and Elijah, he bought that seat with money and that rubbishes the position and everything about it. Nigeria can't travel with this flat tire. Mamoud was asked to halt the voting process since clarity to real-time uploads from BVAS wasn't ensured anymore. He refused, citing and backing the compromise with the electoral act. Now that 'hitch' they couldn't manage for transparency, in the presidential election is now the huge threat facing Nigeria's existence. |

Listen to me well, before you accuse me of being a Tinubu supporter....Obi and Tinubu are not good leaders, nether is Atiku or Kwankwaso.
When they were in charge of their states (Atiku excepted), did they turn their states into attractive places to set up industries, and did they improve the taxation rate in their states to a point where they could no longer rely on money from abuja.?
They did not.
But you guys do not see that. Instead, it has become a North vs South, Muslim vs Christian, Fulanis vs Igbos, and Agbado vs Obidient thing for you.
And in the process, you guys are devoted to winning.
Actual policies, you no want to do.
That is why PDP messed up so bad, that Buhari became attractive, and why Buhari came in and messed up even worse.
At the end, the problem with this country...is that we too like chop money. How we create the money, we no want to do.
Obi is like Tinubu. Big projects, but nothing else. I personally saw Buhari for who he was. Yeah. I wasn't born when he ruled as a military admini, but I read a lot about him. I saw an Islamic fanatic and a witch hunter while others saw a disciplinarian and a man of integrity. Same way I look at Tinubu and can bluntly tell you, what he has to offer Nigerians is never what you'll be proud to let your kids adopt in the next generation. Obi is not the same as Tinubu. He's not the best in Nigeria. He's definitely the best among the evil options we have for the presidential slot. I'm not preferring him because he's a saint. He's not. I do so cos he deserves a chance to put his manifestos to work. I experienced Buhari, so I've experienced Tinubu indirectly. He, as a key member of the ruling party, recommended Buhari , a grand failure, to Nigerians in 2014. Wearing the same desperation Buhari checked in with, even worse. He certainly can't be any better. |

Kobonaire4: Why didn't PDP rule us better from 1999-2016?
If they did, no one would have even dreamed of Buhari.
Better face facts. We have never had good leaders, and we are about to continue that streak.
Why didn't PDP rule us better from 1999-2016?
Between the period (1999- 2015) and the period(2015 - till date) which saw Nigeria through the most economic and ethnic turmoil? You're still looking at partisan lines, that's why you're getting it wrong. PDP had always been a party of thieves without conscience but Goodluck Jonathan was different. He's the reason why Buhari was able to get into power. If he had disregarded Nigerian lives and had no regard for the rule of law like Buhari and Tinubu, he would have manipulated the electoral process like APC just did and still forced himself on the people. Buhari would ve still continued his sabotaging exercises, disrupting security through BH, to rubbish Jonathan's Administration.., like the Chibok menace. And let me sound this, through the course of Nigeria's history from independence till date, she had never really enjoyed 'competent' and 'progressive' leadership like developed countries have. What she had enjoyed was the early bloom of a virgin, promising, emerging system, gifted with vast natural resources and huge markets for foreign investors. The system seemed to be working, but wasn't growing or developing at a healthy pace, because her leaders were given to taking from it, than giving back to it. Resource management (human and natural) has always being a challenge. Administrations have never been progressive on projects. Each man takes up power and do what he deems fit without a universal blueprint to steer development in critical directions. The system seemed to flourish at some point time in history because the effect of mismanagement of resources was still dwarfed by the availability, quality and demand of those resources. Its like living in a clean house, with a section neatly stacked with bananas. You pick up a bunch, eat it up and throw the peels behind you to fall anywhere in the neat, spacious house. Now at this point, that house still looks clean and promising even though the man who manages it has a terrible habit with zero maintenance culture. As time goes on, the peels grow into heaps and attracts other vices with it; flies, maggots, roaches , rats.., while the fresh bananas are depleting the environment is deteriorating. Now if anyone walks into that space he's gonna find it disgusting, though still with benefits or opportunities (fresh bananas) to tap. If that person settles there and continues with the habit of the first, the whole space gets messier, even though they become individually rich. This damage gets worse when the number of consumers gets multiplied. That's the disaster Nigeria is deep in. The population on the other hand grows about 50 times faster than her average economic yields. Thanks to practical illiteracy. Now this is just a simplified illustration of what Nigeria is looking like currently. Its not a partisan problem. Its a mindset problem that has evolved through the years. The most disgusting part is, from that pile up of rotten banana peels(structural ills), they make up laws they can maneuver, set up institutions they can compromise and drive the whole system backwards. So long as they keep getting their daily bananas. The Peter Obi's movement is against this pile of decay. The Tinubu's movement refer to it as the 'structure' they've proudly built over time. APC with Buhari or Tinubu lack the pedigree and potential to reform the system. Its not just money. Its character and sound ideology. Only Obi has this, amongst the options. |
