though counted all as one. there is a problem. Jesus is the Son and Messiah, the holy spirit the active personality, then the father creator of all. could anybody provide the bible scriptures showing the differences between the father and the Godhead. undecided
Christianity Etc › Re: Benny Hinn's Wife Files For Divorce, Very Sad. by Kay17: 11:48am On May 01, 2010
so the bible does not hold all the answers? anyway, there are writings that cover the gap btw when Jesus was 12 and his baptism, which are not included in the bible. there are writings on his marriage to Mary. there are writings of the double role played by Judas and the encouragement Jesus gave to him to commit suicide. there are writings that Jesus did not die on the cross.
in conclusion, what the Bleep! simply reflects the character of Christianity, that is one of falsehood, confusion and contradiction.

What is wrong with Benny Hinn's wife dvorcing him, ehn? And what is sad about the issue? Pls be realistic people!

She doesn't want him again, period. I believe she knows better in this case. Afterall, Benny is not gonna be only 'man of God' that got divorced.

Did you know Paul was married once? People's decision should always be respected. God has given us the free will to make decisions ourselves.
wow! thats surprising. free will? i remember the holy book condemned divorcees to HELL. the guy is fake, can't even practise what he preaches. and his blind followers and loyalists can't spot it. Christians are idiotss.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Jesus Christ Really Archangel Micheal? by Kay17: 11:25pm On Apr 30, 2010
one cannot blame the JW and co for their different interpretation of the Bible. the Bible has always being the source of confusion and division of Christendom. since the message god has sent down is muddled up, faith is the only tool and god is incompatible with reason, and that supports every beliefs; then everybody sticks to he or her beliefs and chill still judgement day. no one is right or wrong then.

we forget the goddess of heaven in all but in name, the Holy Mary, the Archangels, the normal angels and the saints with specialized areas of operation. the principalities and the status of the devil is in question. i think its polytheistic.

Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity Is Polytheistic? by Kay17: 2:11pm On Apr 30, 2010
there is a flaw there. there is the father, the son and the holy spirit. the son and holy spirit do not make up the father right?
Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity Is Polytheistic? by Kay17: 1:37pm On Apr 30, 2010
that was a similar problem faced by the Council of Nicaea, in deciding the relationship between Jesus Christ and the Almighty God. the Arians' view was that Jesus was just like every other creation of God, this conflicted with the sanctity of Jesus' sacrifice. the conclusion, however was that Jesus was a god and not a creation of God. thus before the adoption of the Trinity, Jesus was considered a god.
Unlike Zoroaster, Mohammed and Moses, Jesus had portrayed himself as a Son of God, rather than a mere messenger. thus elevating himself to a status of a god.

Good point by mantraa, god as a conscious would definitely, have a beginning and a cause for his consciousness. Besides, why would supergod need a design? What limitations is he trying to adapt to? If he can create unicorns, and manna fall from heaven, then why is life so complex.

Christianity Etc › Re: An Atheist Dumps His Ignorance by Kay17: 3:32am On Apr 17, 2010
1. The sun could not have come into existence by accident . . . .its quite obvious. The major fact that the sun is the principal element of the solar system and also considering its very unique attributes in relation to all other components of the universe makes IMO the case of a specialist, strategically putting the sun in its position to ensure a balanced universe.
I just cannot imagine the sun originating out of nothing. ,  oh please tell me, did the sun come out of nothing of from dead organic materials?  Grin

2. FYI the bible was not written to serve as a scientific blue-print for your dogmatic hypothesis, theories, criticism and disbelieve. neither was it written for historical purposes . ,   , but was written to the saints to strengthen the saints in faith. In lieu of this I propose that we subsequently leave the bible out of this debate.

3.  Grin Grin I have no video showing God creating life. but this fact is IMO very very obvious . . . .if u could offer honest answers to my posers, perhaps u might objectively see reason like Anthony did.
its absurd to claim what you cannot prove, an entity you can neither see, touch or perceive, or communicate with. the foundation is the shaky bible with discredited history and doctrines, and conflicts with scientific facts. a dogma induced by indoctrination. our existence has always puzzled and fascinated us. and all religions produce answers. all at several points conflict and contradict each others accounts. thus whats the yardstick? dogma or reason.
we should not be deceived that we live in an orderly and regulated world. even in chaos, order is perceived. the beauty and complexity of our world would only be understood by comparison, which is strictly subjective. the galaxy is so large and tainted with imperfections, half baked planets and rocks and all. also evolution, the extinctions: all trial and error. there wouldn't have been the need for it. the besides, i think the simpler it is, the more the indication of an almighty, because for it to be very complex, it is then building upon some constant fundamental rules.
finally, this almighty guy self. following the rule that all things have a creator, who created this god? who endowed god with consciousness? i think it is self evidential.

even by your very low standards . . . .does the above make any sense? huh

what do u think?
obviously, an almighty would not rest, if he is transcendent, if he does not possess a biological body and has metabolism. but the ancient where misled by dogma and perceived revelations and not reason. Christianity is like all other religions - fake and lies.

JeSoul:
Common now Chukwudi smiley you know different.

What water baptism did the thief on the cross next to Jesus go through? yet Jesus promised him he would be with Him together in paradise that day.

The woman caught in adultery. Did Jesus tell her "go and be baptized in order to escape hell"? No. He simply said "go and sin no more". Water Baptism is a part of the faith, a symbolic act. It is by no means a requirement to be saved.
thats another apparent contradiction in the bible. seems like goodwill can't save a faithful.

almost all religions and cultures have their own apocalyptic story. the Mayans strongly believed that as creations from BREAD, would eventually be destroyed after a cycle of 5000 yrs. Muslims have theirs. Christians are no different.
