ambs50:In case anyone is wondering, here: https://www.nairaland.com/3893393/number-225-katakata-street. If you're naija born-n-bred, you'll love it. |
Some donkey years ago, I somehow got it into my head that reading the classic Greek epics was the coolest thing in literature. So I sauntered down to the university library and picked up a hefty and respectable looking translation of Virgil's Aeneid. Mmmm. About 10 pages (and 10 hours) later, my head started shaking... Then I looked at the front page properly and realized this book was just Part 1 - there was still parts 2, 3, and I think 4. I didn't bother to continue. |
kowalsky:I think the more important question is how many goals Giroud missed inside the box... Please stop that legs comparison, baby daddy's strongest point was his head, not his feet. |
kowalsky:Giroud is so good he's at Chelsea playing second fiddle to Morata. |
kowalsky:At the bolded, are you for real?? How so? |
Aystarz:Yes o, in the very instant I was calling him wasteful. Maybe I should start criticising Mkhitaryan, so that he will score too ![]() |
Seems Lady Luck enjoys making jokes of my comments.... As soon as I called Aubameyang wasteful, he scores. Same thing after I criticized Son yesterday. ![]() I'm not complaining sha! |
Aystarz:He is wasteful. That was a seater he missed. |
I wish we didn't have to wear blue though... |
InvestorO:I swear. |
Reussite:Truly solo effort - I was actually yelling, "Pull back and pass the ball!"... And then he smoothly glided past Luiz ![]() |
kay9:And he scores! ![]() |
InvestorO:It's actually sad cos Son is normally a coolheaded finisher, and I know he has been wanting this starting position for long (seems he is actually playing in front of Kane). Unfortunately results is all that matters. |
Son really having a bad day. 4 chances to put it behind, not 1 converted. Won't be surprised if Pochettino pulls him in the 2nd half. |
havilla:Woman, take responsibility for your decisions. It is actually an evidence of how much you value yourself that your aim of looking good is just to attract men. Jeez.. Irrespective of why you do whatever you do, the fact remains that you made the choice to do it. So forgive my bluntness, but that diatribe you wrote up there is just "passing the blame". No matter the societal pressure, nobody forced you to put on Scandinavian hair polish - you made the choice. |
Gboy101:You may want to look up the word "blackfishing". |
havilla:So now it's the Nigerian men's fault? Smh.. Look, by all means fix whatever you wish on your hair, it's your own head afterall. But while you're at it, grow the fcck up and stop blaming other people for your own decisions. |
Noble3264:Exactly. Guilt phase. |
I know you asked for "serious" advice, but... honestly bros, did you have to wunjor her abdomen?? You wicked o! ![]() Seriously though, just relax and give her space - don't worry about it, she'll come around. Some women (and men) need longer to sort stuff like that out. |
D'banj going to eat his own portion of the stew ![]()

Those are paintings, bro. If you can't tell the difference between a pencil/charcoal art and an oil painting, then you probably should stop talking about art altogether. OP clearly stated that his works are pencil art. And as far as pencil/charcoal art works are concerned, the Op does indeed do very realistic works - how often do you see a pencil or charcoal art with such realistic depictions of splashing water? A talented painter can easily do it with an oil painting, but a pencil artist needs be to genius-level to pull it off with just pencil lead. Kudos to OP abeg. |
MissRaine69:Sounds like you dont believe him... ![]() |
MissRaine69:Naa, more like here we were still debating whether or not skin tone discrimination is a real thing, and what could be the factors behind it... and this dude is already like Hold my beer - i don't need any reason, i just want to be fair skinned! |
![]() Ok this is certainly way past, so I'm guessing you'd have learnt by now that nigerian women - especially igbo women - don't really do flowers. And no, i don't mean to imply they prefer financial/expensive gifts (which may be generalizing but sadly not that far away from the truth). No. What i mean is, it is simply not our culture... Abroad, yeah no problem - we are pretty good at adapting to new environments. But on home soil, nah. We just don't do flowers. ![]() Regards to wifey, by the way ![]() |
Ishilove: ![]() My apologies! Here, come closer... By virtue of thy peerless deeds and fearless sacrifice during the Garrium Sulphate Wars against the Evil Hordes of Mukina2 and Sexkills, I hereby dub thee Lady Ishilove the Valiant! |
Ishilove:Lol... Yeah it has indeed been years. I've kept a low profile ever since the Garri Wars - where you even around for that? Now those were the days... Anyways, I was becoming more visible professionally - and not to mention getting a little longer in the tooth - so had to curtail my clandestine online shenanigans. Have I been arrested? Yes, i have - and that's all i'll say on that ![]() |
Ishilove:Lol ![]() Bae, you're usually sharper than this, what happened to your wit and humour? Can't believe you really thought I was seriously calling you sexist was just deliberately overdoing it, you know, like our dear warrior feminists do when a guy expresses surprise at a woman breaking stereotype.Anyway, the joke is ruined. Insert mildly bored face here. |
