Ashamed of what? Which public parastatal in Nigeria will ever admit that its officers/staff are incompetent? Their PROs never admit to any wrong-doing, nay, they would rather swear to their mothers' and fathers' graves that their officers are the very epitome of excellence and service delivery.

So my sister, i am not ashamed at all. If this sorta exposure is what will make them sit up, then so be it.

Make i go watch again sef tongue

I find it amusing that only one NLer has bothered to cuss on this girl yet; wey d rest of the ''fire-and-brimstone-beathing'' squad na? And i'm guessing its because she's not nigerian. Isn't it ironical that we dont mind seeing non-nigerians do stuff like this - we even ''admire'' them. But let a naija girl try it, hem! Her own don finish.

For what its worth, i dont approve of the girl's choice of trade... But of course its her life, so my views hardly matter.
TV/MoviesRe: Favorite Hollywood Movies Lines by kay9(m): 7:36am On Mar 26, 2013
^^ Yep! I did quote it from memory - thats how much i love the movie. wink I've lost count of how many times i've rewatched it, just to enjoy V's obama speeches. grin

My other favorite scenes are....
- when he blows up the old bailey:
V: Tell me evey, do u know what date it is?
Evey: why? November the 4th...
V: not anymore (midnight bell starts ringing) Remember remember, the 5th of november, the gun-powder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot...

- and when he hijacks the BTN, and plays his recorded video:
V: Good evening London! smiley grin
V:...(lots of grammar)...but while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and to those with insight (??..i think), the enunciation of TRUTH. And the truth is, there's something terribly wrong with this country, is there not? smiley... (and more grammar continues) grin

Jibwillz: Thnx sinior!... But I've been calm and very accommodating since d whole issue... Even tried 2 make her see reasons why she must get justice dne, bt she'z hell-bent on kippn it 2 herself, sayn she's gna make "him pay dearly on her own accord". Dat which has fully arouse my suspicion abt her even more... SHE CNT B TRUST'D
Well, i guess the matter is done and dusted then.

Still rooting for Hugo Weaving here...

Agent Smith (The Matrix Revolutions): Mr Anderson! Welcome back... We missed you! Like what i've done with the place? (lightening and thunderclaps overhead)... grin

Or how Heath Leager's the Joker: WHY SO SERIOUS?? grin grin

And another favorite of mine, Megamind...
Megamind: You're a villain alright...just not a SUPER one.
Tighten: Oh yeah? Whats the difference?
Megamind (smiles broadly): PRESENTATION!!
TV/MoviesRe: Favorite Hollywood Movies Lines by kay9(m):
^^ V for Vendetta is a CLASSIC.

Quoting from memory here wink (after he rescues Evey from the fingermen)...
Evey: who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the funtion of what, and what i am is a man in a mask.
Evey: i can see that.
V: of course you can! I'm not doubting your powers of observation; i'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
Evey: oh... grin
V: (waxing philosophical) but on the this most auspicious of nights, in lue of the more common place subriquet (spelling?? grin ), permit me to comment upon the character of this dramatis persona... Voila!! (and then he starts that long V-filled english essay grin

kay9: ... the best villain role in this category is a split between to Scar (The Lion King) and Tai Lung (Kungfu Panda)... Mehn that Tai Lung could kick a$s.
Abongs: Dracula in vanhelsing
joker in batman
lord pèin in naruto
Can i take back that award to Scar/Tai lung? cheesy

Pein, as villain, made me wonder what really makes one a villain; his character had DEPTH. His words: War brings death and wounds and pain to both sides.... There's nothing harder to accept than the deaths of those you love... so you believe... they could never die...
You try to find the meaning in death... but... there's only PAIN...
And then Naruto kicked his butt. grin

Izrhiell: I love cartoons so I guess I guess I'll go for Amon in Legend of Korra. Mehn that guy iz scary I even fear him. I also think Bane in Dark Knight iz also scary
Amon wasn't bad... But i've watched lots of cartoons and animations, and for me the best villain role in this category is a split between to Scar (The Lion King) and Tai Lung (Kungfu Panda)... Mehn that Tai Lung could kick a$s.

On the whole, however, it would be a hard pick... The Joker (TDK), Agent Smith (The Matrix), Christoph Waltz of the Basterds, that dude from Con Air (John Malkovich, i think)... BUT, the ultimate villain ever is... TONY MONTANA of Scarface. smiley You need people like me...

Guy, first of all, u have to go back to school and learn how to write properly. angry

Anyway... I doubt if you're ever getting back together with her; visiting a stalker and getting banged by him doesnt seem like prospective-wife behaviour to me. But you could still be nice - talk gently, dont be so accusatory and harsh - and aid her (if you can) in getting her molester arrested or whatever. For the sake of what you two once shared, at least.

There was this nyashing relationship i had one time - i call it ''nyashing'' cos we both knew it wasn't going anywhere, just fun. She was older than i was, about a 4-5 years gap.Anyway, i had to break it off after i got tired of always hearing ''this boy, you're not my mate o...''
I still miss her sometimes sha.

KateSpade: My father raised me, fed me, clothed me, spoiled me. I'm not a very demanding gf and I tend to give more than I receive in general whether its friend, family, bf so when I ask for something I mean it.
^^ Uhh, ok, so because you ''mean'' it when u ask bf for something, he should get it for you? And whats all that ish about your father feeding and clothing you? How does that concern your bf? huh

LiteratureRe: The Paradox Of Abel (The Sequel) by kay9(m): 3:29pm On Mar 21, 2013
Seriously, i think you guys should give Larry-sun a break. ''Rushing'' a good piece of literature is a sure way to ruin it. A long time ago i used to write, and i know how long it usually took me to piece together a simple short-story - weeks, sometimes months. So, for this dude to have written this much in - what, three months? I think he deserves a medal and lots of writing space.

This isn't a movie, folks! Fans of popular writer, George R.R. Martin, had to wait six solid agonizing years between the 4th and 5th installation of his renown A Song of Ice and Fire series (4th in 2005, 5th in 2011), and since then they're still patiently waiting for the 6th...with no date in sight whatsoever! So trust me when i tell u, Larry-sun is FAST.

And by the way, good job Larry; of course i have a few critiques i'd like fixed, but on the whole i really enjoyed it wink

To Ogugua88:

Adanne, i respect your intellect and ability to reason without sentiments, and i know you're ''proudly Nigerian'' wink , so maybe you can help explain something to me.

U see, i find that a sizeable percentage of Nigerian women think that they are doing a man a favor when they have s.ex with him. When these naija women folk say things like ''when d man dey enjoy d ting... after d guy don enjoy d ting...'', please, are they implying they weren't enjoying it, too?

Even on this thread, one really idiotic female is implying that she pays for gifts she receives from guys with s.ex, and i frankly find that digusting, debasing to the few wonderful women i know, and not to mention, just plain stewpid. So, biko nne, tell me; is it just me, or is that notion really as f#ked up as i think it is?

Thank you.
RomanceRe: Battle Of The Sexes. by kay9(m): 1:57pm On Mar 20, 2013
I don't give gifts i cant bear to forget if things go sour. Why do u think naija girls only buy singlets and boxers for their bf's? I simply borrowed a leaf from them.
