Crime / Re: My Story As A Cult Member........initiation Phase Included... by Kaycee625(m): 1:02pm On Jun 12, 2020
I have to comment again.

It seems there are lots of people with misplaced priorities and confused identities. I hope innocent person doesn't get harmed because of another person's ineptitude

Some years back, an ex cultism came to Nairaland to confess his past sins. From hid write up, you could read he was in pains and on many occasions he stated he no longer cared about his life. He just wanted to talk and be free. But there was a problem. The problem was that he mentioned names of people in NBM that were real. He mentioned precise hits he carried out together with other members. The hits were so vivid that anyone familiar withe locations and old enough could relate and recognize thosd deaths. For many ju people in thosde areas they probably thought it was just assassinations or robberies gone wrong. Long story short, he was tracked down by his frat members and gunned down at his place of work in lagos. He was killed like an animal for reaveling the dangers of cultism to the world!! Let that sink in!

Cultism is dangerous. It would rob you of your conscience, your freedom, your dignity and your life. Karma would come, no doubt. I have lived mine. I am paying the price and hopefully I can help someone avoid my fate by making the right decision.

Anyone coming here warning the op or threatening him is either mischievous, an unrepentant culstist, a bloodthirsty animal or the devil himself. They ate simply threatened by the OP. He has revealed their modus operandi, their initiations and how people lose their lives in the process.

But its not too late for the young souls out there. You can be whatever you want to bd without joining a cult.

The guy who has been striking out posts. I pity you. You are almost to your fifties and you still cannot make a decision for yourself to save yourself! Since yesterday, you have been rambling back and forth without making any sense. Strike force indeed! Unfortunately your tactics to intimidate the OP, silence him has not worked. From day 1 one i saw this post, I started creating an archive of it for future generations to read and learn. I have archived almost all thr pages because at first, i was aftraid the mods would delete it because many cultists were calling on the mods to remove the thread. Just like the guy who lives by day has called on the mods to remove the thread. We are indeed grateful to the mods for allowing the thread to stand for such a very long time. Mods pls ypu can also move to front page to save more lives!

The OP was threatened offline by some unscrupulous elements. I see no reason why je should not threaten anyhow who tries to harm him. The DSS has a cultism unit. So the OP is not wrong in talking about DSS online as long as he doesn't reveal any official and classified material. He has not shamed the DSS, infact in my opinion, he has enhanced the reach of thr DSS on social media so that these blood suckers and killers like that guy who has been forming strike force with his keyboarded would know never to try anything fishy.

OP, like i said yesterday, protect yourself. Do not make friends with anyone. The guy who lives by the night sef no fit touch you. He is acting a script in other to out you. You can see he is trying to link you with a real name. He does not jack sheet about you. Its all an attempt to show some acumen and prove he is important.

Like i say, keep your nairaland account away from your personal life. Log out and clear cache and cookies all the time. Use a vpn if possible. Always log out. Always. Dont forget. Use one standard email for nairaland. There are many tips and more to stay safe from these mad cultists who live by day and kill at night.

You guys stop qouting that guy. Leave him alone. His time will pass, just like all the others.
please i hope i hope the ex cultist killed isnt money soldier, he wrote about his exploita in delsu, and absu, but never completed the story

please where can u read up about bitcoin, am wuite interested un getting knowledge about it before putting my money in
femifemi1:

So sad many are so ignorant on this subject, money like every other vehicle of financial transformation are not taught in school, you have to learn it. Bitcoin as you said was never an investment but simply a e-currency. Some people give their money to some smart fraudulent people to help them invest in BTC and later got scammed, only to cry out on BTC.

Bitcoin is an unstoppable revolution, the CBN of this world might fight it but only the wise knows that the future is already here. I believe the focus should be on blockchain and not on just Bitcoin. Blockchain gave birth to cryptocurrency of which Bitcoin happens to be the very first.

The best way to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is to buy low and sell high. And now is the best time to buy, be greed when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy.

Many people bought BTC out of FOMO ( fear of missing out) and acted on others opinion rather than seek understanding of the subject matter. Just as the internet disrupted the social media, postal agencies and communication, blockchain will definitely disrupt the financial system...

I would advice those that want to make it big in 2019 to study the highs and lows movement of BTC from 2019, and you would be surprise to know that BTC holds your key to your next financial level. But just like every other financial matter, always seek expert opinion and do some self studies also.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Replies El-rufai On Arise Tv Live Interview (video) by Kaycee625(m): 12:38pm On Nov 13, 2018
thank you bro, the average igbo man isnt tribalistic, when i first started using nairaland,i was bewildered by the tribalism i felt in this forum, i couldnt believe nigerians had this mentality, i had my six minths intenship in lagos, i served in kaduna,
personally i have no tribal inhibitions, i believe in live and let others live, and most igbos are like that, its really not fair that we are marginalized so much, for example in the NDA since its inception only one igbo man appointed by Goodluck has been commandant but they scream one Nigeria, i believe in one nigeria but in equity and fairness.
Carlyscales:
I can't believe that I actually rejoiced when El-rufai won in 2015. Having served in Kaduna, I believed with his reputation in FCt Kaduna needed a strong mind n personality to govern it.

Now I just wonder how a personality like El-rufai is a Gov in a multi ethno-religous state like Kaduna??

Obi that was PAN kaduna no 1 customer as a gov. Used 406 from kaduna as official car as a gov. What even El-rufai n other northern Govs ain't sensible n prudent enough to do.

That is the person El-rufai is calling tribalistic n a bigot shocked

someone that was one of the first Gov in southern Nigeria to do business with Jaiz bank (an Islamic bank) because they gave him better terms than so called 'christian commercial banks'

That is the person El-rufai is calling tribalistic n a bigot shocked

When u hear a man u can read his soul or core to an extent!

We used to hear PMB B4 his return to power n felt he myb sectional n nepotic, today same is bedeviling his Govt.

When u hear Fashola u can easily Know that this man is just better of as a professional n regional leader. If he's made president u can be sure he's gonna be too rigid & sectional. Same with Kwankwaso n El-rufai.

But When u listen to Atiku, Osibanjo,Tambuwal, Saraki etc. U can be sure that they will better unite n galvanise the country. Of course they may have other baggages but u can't accuse them of being sectional.

My dr when u really listen to Obi u will know he's above sectionalism n tribalism. The other time he was lamenting in US-Nig business submit about Zamfara( with population of 5m) just having about 100 students in total for neco in a yr with a passing rate of just 24/100. Meanwhile other states are having over 200,000 for same exam. Only for their former Gov to marry a minor young enough to be his granddaughter, divorced her shortly n is ready to die in d Senate in defence of child marriage. Whitout regards to her education n progration in life. He said then he's not from Zamfara but every section of d country is important to him.
Note: he said this years ago B4 d primaries n all that.

People just forget about the NL miscreants screaming 'Igbo Amaka'. The real n most igbos ain't tribal really. U can't be as adventurous n entrepreneurial as they are n be looking at tribalism. To them business minds it's all business n profit/ loss. Any one/tribe/colour/religion etc that can deal with them in business is the their brother period.

Crime / Re: Thinking Of Reporting To The EFCC - Any Help? by Kaycee625(m): 2:20am On Nov 10, 2018
all i can say is before you take an action think of all the possible outcomes, reporting them to efcc is like starting a war, and you know whata they say, war is easy to start but hard to end, when you report them to efcc, they will bail themselves, and then they will come for you, the least of retaliation would be getting u beaten up to a pulp by some hired thugs and the worst is getting shot dead by some hitmen, either ways i dont see it ending well for you, my advise if you cant mind your business pack out, dont start what you cant finish

he is nepotic, watched his kinsmen kill people all over the country and do not condem them not to talk of taking actions against them.
he hasnt even developed the country, rather he has run our economy down
the greatest looting is taking place in his goverment
he ought to be kicked out and jailed right away.
he is a criminal, a scammer, tell me one campaign promise he has fulfilled,?
he will stabilize oil price?
he will make 1 dollar 1 naira?
he will end bokoharam in 3 months?
he will provide, jobs? many companies have folded up in nigeria under his watch,
nothing good has come out for the masses under his goverment, just looting and appointment of incompetent and unqualified persons, that is all we have gotten from the gworo eating deceitful and tribalisitic senile old man.
he should go back to his farm in daura or better still get lost, he really deserves to be exiled.
ANIOMADEI2018:
2019 election is still about few months away but it is just like tomorrow because everything in the nation is now set to work in that direction.

There has been a coalition of people trying to create the third force that can hijack power from the incumbent and we have also seen PDP trying to put its house together to wrestle power from the APC which dislodged it in 2015.

What is the bitter truth that we should know about this situation on ground?

President Obasanjo: This is a great man by all standards. An ex military man, former military Head Of State, former President, a writer, a PhD holder, Balogun of Owu Kingdom, an elder statesman, a Christian leader, etc. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is indeed a great man. But let us analyze his message and the messenger. The message is that Buhari should not contest for second term in office because there are elements of nepotistic approach in his government, his health status and his shallow knowledge of economic management and internal democracy. These are deep issues and they should be looked into. Who is the messenger is the second question here? Former President Obasanjo is the least right person to condemn Buhari in this country. Obasanjo’s first term was so bad that there was nothing that could be pointed to as his achievement. When i say nothing, i mean nothing at all. He practically was rolling on the floor to get his party ticket in 2003 for reelection. He prostrated for Atiku, begged some governors and made them (governors) party leaders in their states in order to influence things and people for him. He had nothing to show as his achievement in his first term. Obasanjo, as we know, pushed for his third term in office. This shows that the kind of people Obasanjo is. Obasanjo practically manipulated everything to amend our constitution to allow a third term for himself but was pushed back by other forces. He sent emissaries to institutions, schools, churches, mosques, to push for his third term. He introduced politics of Bags of money popularly called ‘Ghana must Go’. Obasanjo could not point to any physical achievement in roads, rail, airport, power or anything. His era in power was full of bloodletting both political killings like the death of his attorney general, the Great Bola Ige, the Cicero of Africa, the death of Harry Marshal, the wiping away of a community in Odi,Bayelsa, the killings in ZakiBiam, Benue, many air crashes that lost hundreds of lives, the Niger-Delta problems began with him. Many freedom fighters like Asari Dokubo were jailed. The closure of Nigerian Airways, the introduction of political victimization leading to Atiku running away from his party, Rotimi Amaechi running to Ghana to save his life, there was a palpable fear everywhere, the insecurity leading to state of emergency in Ekiti and Plateau. The problem with Nigeria began practically with Obasanjo. We cannot forget what he did to South West Nigeria, how the governors, 5 of 6 governors were removed and he installed his own footsoldiers for his own personal second term interest. How he held back the allocations for Lagos States local governments for many months just to use Tinubu to make a political statement. How he separated brothers like Obanikoro being used against his boss and friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, etc His method of using EFCC to fight his political enemies. Politics of calumny, vendetta, etc was introduced by no other but Obasanjo. He openly called 2007 election a ‘do or die election’ on the national TV. Obasanjo is the architect of our woes according to the believe of many. Yar’adua had to admit it that the election that brought him into power in 2007 was a fraud. Obasanjo asked INEC to just write out results as confirmed by residents of many places after 2007 elections. Elections did not take place at all in many places yet Baba pushed his candidate to the seat of power. This is the Obasanjo advising us today. This is the person playing god on good governance today. Going into his role as father and husband, his children have said things that proved he is not a so good father, how he abandoned them, he didn’t train them in school, etc. His first wife does not have a good thing to say about him as well. How then can we compare him with Buhari? Many other moral issues are too bad to mention here for many reasons. We all remember the accusations of Mojisola, his son’s wife, etc.
What does PDP want? PDP was the vehicle that was supposed to have taken us to our promised land in Nigeria. The windfall of 2003 to 2007 and of 2010 to 2014 could have rewritten the history of Nigeria. We had the opportunity to work on our electricity, over $16B was embezzled by the people involved. It was so bad that the legislators that were to even probe Obasanjo shared part of the money being investigated...Remember Elumelu/Otedola saga. Nigeria lost the golden period and ended up worse than it was before PDP took over. We lost the glory of being the giant of Africa in sport and sporting events, we lost in military, we lost in politics of Africa, we lost in the world, we are deficient in infrastructures, no road, no water, no electrical power, no savings, no good airport, no standard university, nothing that PDP gave to Nigeria for 16 years of leadership.
Who are the people who don’t want Buhari to go for second term in office? They are many and belong to different political classes. Many of them are the corrupt people who keep on losing their loots to the Federal Republic of Nigeria everyday. Some of them cannot spend their loots so it becomes a do or die between them and Buhari. Many of them have ran away from Nigeria. We know that Muazu, former PDP Chairman, Deziani Allison Madueke former Minister of Petroleum Resources, etc have ran away from Nigeria because of the fear of Buhari. We know what Patience Jonathan, many permanent secretaries, former ministers , former governors, etc are losing everyday being products of corruption. These sets of people don’t want Buhari to continue.
Another set of people are the impatient people. It is believed that there is always a time-lag between when something is planned and when it is executed. ‘No leader can fix Nigeria in four year’ in the world of Goodluck Jonathan the immediate past president of Nigeria. It takes patience to achieve some things in life, especially good things. Rails, power, roads, cannot just get better in one day, it will take some times.

Finally, Buhari as a person may not be perfect, he has his flaws and shortcomings as pointed out by former President Obasanjo but he is the fairest of them all. Even Obasanjo who wrote the letter could only mention just about 4 major issues. This is nothing but an evidence that Buhari is better than Obasanjo himself. Buhari has started to put Nigeria on a solid rock of good governance. He needs to do it better and quicker though. He needs to ensure that security of lives and properties are maintained. He needs to create more jobs for the youths and old. He also needs to avoid nepotism in its entirety.

If today we are not importing rice again, rated as best in portfolio and stocks markets in the whole world, one of the best emerging economies in the world, one of the best in the ease of doing business, improved agriculture, improved security, etc then it shows things are getting better but may not be what we want. We want more from him.

Buhari is still the best. Primus inter pares (Best Among the Equal)

ehie:
Buhari's government reminds me of the rule of the 30 Tyrants in Greece.

These tyrants ruled for 8 months and were installed by Sparta on Greece

1.The Thirty reduced the rights of Athenian citizens in order to institute an oligarchical regime.(muzzling the senate, giving the executive absolute power)

2.The Thirty appointed a council of 500 to serve the judicial functions formerly belonging to all the citizens (The Phantom Cabal, Magu, Daura and Idris and Buraitai)

3. The Thirty chose 3,000 Athenian men "to share in the government"

4. These hand-selected individuals had the right to carry weapons, to have a jury trial, and to reside within city limits

5.The Thirty appointed these select few as the only men the Thirty could find who were devotedly loyal to their regime

6.Led by Critias, the Thirty Tyrants presided over a reign of terror in which they executed, murdered, and exiled hundreds of Athenians, seizing their possessions afterward. Both Isocrates and Aristotle (the latter in the Athenian Constitution) have reported that the Thirty executed 1500 people without trial.(We are getting there gradually, with SARS, Fulani Herdsmen and who knows what in the making)

7.Critias, a former pupil of Socrates, has been described as "the first Robespierre because of his cruelty and inhumanity; he evidently aimed to end democracy, regardless of the human cost.(The midget comes to mind)

8.The Thirty removed criminals as well as many ordinary citizens whom they considered "unfriendly" to the new regime for expressing support for the democracy. One of their targets was Theramenes, whom Critias believed was a threat to the rule of the oligarchy. (Dino Melaye Saga)

9. Critias accused Theramenes of conspiracy and treason, and then forced him to drink hemlock. Many wealthy citizens were executed simply so the oligarchs could confiscate their assets, which were then distributed among the Thirty and their supporters.(Looters asset confiscation) They also hired 300 "lash-bearers" or whip-bearing men to intimidate Athenian citizens.[Police)

10. The Thirty's regime did not meet with much overt opposition, although many Athenians disliked the new form of government. Those who did not approve of the new laws could either fight ‒ and risk exile or execution ‒ or accept the Thirty's rule.[Tuface muzzling, EFCC hound Dogs)

11. Some supporters of democracy chose to fight and were exiled, among them Thrasybulus, a trierarch in the Athenian navy and noted supporter of democratic government.(IPOB is the only group fighting it from exile)

12. The uprising that overthrew the Thirty in 403 BCE was orchestrated by a group of exiles led by Thrasybulus. Critias was killed in the initial revolt. (Amen and amen, may it come to pass as it was may it be)

this your statement is why nigeria is not developing, instead of taking actions to make the country better you prefer to pray to God so that he will come down from heaven, and provide security, welfare, job opportunities, good schools for you,the earlier you realise your destiny is in your hand and start taking pragmatic actions the better for you.

Help, Trouble In My Marriage

Hello Nairalanders.

I have been married for a year and half. I thought hubby and i have been living happily and i would've swore he was faithful. A few days ago i saw that a random lady messaged him on Facebook and they got talking. I was shocked at first to see that he was chatting her up. Fast forward to yesterday I checked his phone and saw that himself and the lady had more conversation and what started as facebook chat had progressed from phone calls to whatsapp chat. The content of their chat seems they were eventually planning to hook up.

I confronted hubby but he wasn't remorseful and told me he doesn't owe me faithfulness and went on to sleep in the other room. Hubby and I pray together and are looking towards a very bright future together, this is not something i really saw coming from him. I am very troubled in my heart and pregnant for our first baby. He dozent feel any atom of pity that the whole issue might cause me problems and I have been wondering what has come over him. I am 100 percent faithful to my hubby and want the union to work out. I am at work typing and holding back tears. Please i need advise from mature people in the house, how do i deal with the situation. I am in my late 20s, he is in his late 30s.
Most men cheat but their reaction when caught goes a long way.
Sobfor your husband to blot out he doesn't owe you faithfulness to be honest this is just the beginning, he is going to cheat alot more without remorse
Advise# ask him if he feels he doesn't owe you faithfulness what about you?
How would he feel if he sees you chatting with a man,
Truth is mostly cheats are very jealous of their possession,so he wouldnt want that
