hotwax: Thank you jor. You are not thinking like a black man. Lets not put sentiment into it. Bush created 4trillion dollar debt in 4 years, Obama created 3.5trillion dollar in 4 years. Obama did not fight any war oooo. Despite all Bush wars, his debt was 4trila.. . . . and Bush was paying for the still raging wars from his pocket in Texas abi ? . . . . . and the economy was running smooth and perfect and needed no financial intervention to save it ? |
kingar: what lie are you all talking about. Mitt Romney is that 1 man with difference, he is exactly what we need as an example to the whole world. GOD is with him and I know he will do it again as usually. Maybe u y'al need to go back and check his recordz while he was a governorLollll !!!!! 99% of every word that comes out of his mouth turns out to be a fab'. What record ? for eg. : He told some of the biggest lies when he was governor or when he was running for it rather. He refused to show his tax returns because he was accused of not being eligible to run for governor since he didn't file taxes as a Mass. resident and he insisted that he did, repeatedly lied to the public about it and still refused to show his taxes. In the end it was revealed he filed as a resident of Utah. The 6 'independent' studies he said reviewed his magical mathematics defying tax plan and gave it the green light turned out to be blogs with conservative affiliations. How can he say in the debate in front of millions on TV that his health care plan will cover people with pre-existing conditions and in the middle of the night when only 20 people are awake and watching, he sends out his adviser, Eric Ferhnstrom to come on air and say it was a mistake " No, they will not be covered". - It was no mistake but a calculated attempt to deceive the gullible masses. etc, etc, etc . . . . . almost everything he says turns out to be a lie, all bold faced deceitful lies. The only truth he has ever told is on how he feels about the 47%, that was the real Mitt showing his true self; don't be deceived by the sudden switch to "I care about 100%". Reminds me of Rihanna; he's only sorry now because he got caught. You better shine your eyes before the lying repubs do you boju boju . |
It's a fine line for Obama to walk, he will have to attack and counter Romney's lies, and at the same time, not come across as arrogant and disrespectful. Who knows which Mitt Romney will show up tonight and what new lies he will bring to the table. |
violent: Ohio may be a battleground state, but the influence of public unions puts Obama at a far more strategic advantage as the unions vote heavily Democratic. He can't go to sleep for this reason ; with a lot of confused undecided voters, anything is possible for eg. Scott Walker(the most anti-union governor) won his recall election with exit polls showing that a lot of people that voted for him came from families with union members; the same people that signed millions of petitions to unseat him, voted him back in. ![]() |
violent: Because Obama spending time on Florida just like Romney spending time on Ohio....will likely be a waste of time.Spending time in Florida, Ohio or Penn. is never a waste of time for any of the candidates, they both know these are the battle ground states with the largest chunks of electoral votes. occam: For Obama, the path to victory is simple: Ohio, Wisconsin and either Nevada OR Iowa = 271 ![]() Huh !!! Florida alone reps 10% (27 or 29 ) of the total electoral votes needed and can make a big difference if the race gets too close. . . . . and saying that the Florida and Virginia outcome doesn't matter, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Nevada = 34 Florida and Virginia = 42 Even though the former puts him across the finish line, I'm sure he will rather have the latter scenario. Can't take nothing for granted. |
thelastPope: The difference between us is that am stating the facts of history and you are making assumptions and conjecture. That Romney will "start wars" is a lazy and weak base to argue on.Lol !!! I'm not trying to convince you to agree with me. The only assumptions I made were about Romney starting a war and like I said everything points towards the likelihood. His foreign policy advisers were inherited from G. Bush and they are all pro-war - fact. . . . and if we're to take him at his words, he said he won't hesitate to strike Iran. Modern day republicans are more racist than democrats, from experience, their attitude towards blacks and minorities and their utterances about blacks in public - fact (forget about history from the 1800s and who was more racist in medieval times, the past is gone). Repubs are warmongers, America under a republican attacked and invaded Iraq for no just reason - fact You blame Obama for the ratings downgrade. Ratings were downgraded because of the republicans and their dilly dallying and making a fuss over a half-page bill - fact The spending and deficit increased mainly from money spent on automatic stabilizers to save the economy and funding the raging wars - fact Since you claim to have facts, -where are your facts about the unemployment number conspiracy ? |
Billyonaire: It was not EarthQuake my brother. There is underground bunker there that's been used to test nuclear arsenals. I researched on it. Stories of EarthQuake is a cover up of the Government's operations.Loll !!! another conspiracy theory. I guess you're talking about HAARP operations during hurricane Irene. While I don't term these conspiracy theories outright lies, I don't believe them hook, line and sinker. What about the earthquakes in Texas ? Years ago, people would have said 'NEVER' to the possibility of an earthquake in Texas but they are happening (though on a relatively small scale) and scientific views are changing. The southern part of Texas and Southern Nigeria are carbon copies both in operational activity, geologic and tectonic setting so if minor earthquakes can happen in Texas why not Nigeria. I'm not praying for an earthquake o, infact I hope we don't experience any form of disaster; but I'm just trying to correct the notion that "earthquakes can NEVER happen in Nigeria" which is the reason a lot of people have heaped insults on the poster. |
Billyonaire: I do not pray, cos I am not blindly religious. There will never be Earthquake in Nigeria cos none of the quake parameters fall within our plates. Stop mixing science with religion or blind faith.Haha !!! I'm not a pastor and I'm not forcing you to pray, I was pointing out stuff in your comments about the possibility of an earthquake in Nigeria and it was based on pure science. Talking of quake parameters, the earthquake that hit Virginia on the US East Coast last year was strange because the tectonic setting of that area does not favour the occurrence of earthquakes and the environment is very much like the 'Nigerian plate' setting. |
sadeiyare: You quoted Eze.33:1-9. If God gave you a message, like Ezekiel you are no longer a private person, but a public one. So please it would be nice if you give your facebook page address. There are domant volcanoes in Nigeria, and we are also close to the circum-pacific ring of fire, so earthquake is no joking matter, even if you not in nigeria, we all got families and friends hereSorry, Nigeria is nowhere close to the pacific ring of fire. Billyonaire: This OP is so ignorant of the dynamics of earthquakes. There can never be Earthquake in Nigeria. Go back to your elementary Geography and research on Tectonic Plates, San Andreas Fault and Seismic rhythms. Those low vibration energy beings that deceive you are actually domiciled in the Astral Plane of consciousness, just beyond the physical realm, do not believe them and do not call them God, cos you have power psychic opportunism to be greater than them. Its an insult to even be deceive by an energy being at Astral Plane. I wish its me that spirit come to reveal that shit for, I would have told him to fvck-off.Nigeria may be sitting in an aseismic region and that makes the chances of an earthquake remote or next to none but we can't totally rule out the possibility of an occurrence; in fact, earthquakes have happened in different parts of Nigeria in the past albeit on a small scale. There are disasters that happen and scientists call them anomalies and then investigate to discover a new pattern. Y'all should pray that Nigeria is never used as a case study for any such "new trend" disasters. Whether it is earthquake, hurricane, flooding, tsunami or even Boko Haram, my main worry is with the readiness and level of preparedness of our emergency services; I can't even imagine what a large scale disaster in Nigeria will look like and I pray we never experience any. I'm surprised that even some religious people here are knocking the poster for his story, we don't have to believe him and neither do we have to mock him for his dream. If you don't believe the dream from a religious POV, you can take a look at it from the scientific perspective. |
Seun: (2) He was not prepared for the on-the-spot transformation of Romney's platform. With this, Romney became a slippery fish, hard to pin to any of his previous stands on any issue. A lot of people were angry and disappointed with Obama because he didn't sing his own praises and list his achievements so far, since he couldn't attack the slippery fish. |
ogugua88: Ignore the polls! The only ones that matter are on November 6thSometimes the polls count; the problematic undecided independents always love to go with the crowd. They rally behind whoever they think is winning. |
ogugua88: Seun, I'm not exactly sure what President Obama's strategy was last week. I'm still disappointed. It seems as if everyone has been rallying for him though. Biden had to do some makeup work last night. President Clinton's going around the country hyping the democratic base once again. Obama really messed up lol.Everybody was disappointed. You should have seen Chris Matthews go red in the face that night and yelling like he was Obama's pop. ![]() I'm sure he's gearing up with a new approach for next week's. |
On Syria, what would you do differently from what is currently being done, if you wont be putting troops on the ground ? I was listening for a solution in stark contrast to what the administration is already doing since Romney has been attacking Obama on this. Ryan : *stammer* *stammer* *stammer* *stammer* blah blah, " we will not call Assad a reformer like Obama did" (BIG LIE) *stammer* *stammer* ; in the end nothing new. ![]() |
Erin Burnett gathered some confused looking people outside and they gave their "confused sounding" opinions and judgements based on things like, Biden's interruptions. The polls must have come from there. ![]() |
chucky234: I read this morning in one of the pages of Sun newspaper, that's one tough experience she will live with for the rest of her life. She called into cool fm a couple of days ago to narrate the ordeal and said the same thing about the presence of policemen at the scene. I could just imagine what it feels like to watch your brother being brutalized and burnt to death; especially when he wasnt convicted of any crime yet. Horrible experience. |
1. She saw a mob lynching a person, she said nothing at first until she realised that it was one of her own.. 4. If it were another person, she would have simply watched like everyone and did nothing.
What do you want her to do ? vouch for a stranger ? It is normal for her to say "I know my brother, he is not a thief".
2. The mob told her to run for her life.. meaning anyone who intervened would also have been kiled.
That's the problem with an illiterate mob, if you ever try to speak in protest for someone being lynched, you're putting your own life at risk. Once someone says "you're one of them", then your as$ is on fire. The same Nigerian policemen that were supposed to go train S.Sudanese police, SMH. |
thelastPope: The democrats are the racist not the republicans. Most born-again Christians in America are republicans and they are not racist. The church has been on the fore front against racism right from when America was founded and they have never changed. That's the ironic part. They claim to be evangelicals and infact they are very religious maybe more religious than democrats, but it doesn't reflect in their service to the people, their love for money and sweet business seems to transcend all that. The only areas where they lead the democrats in morals and 'religiousness' is with social issues like abortion, gay and marriage issues. thelastPope: As far back as the 18th century, ministers and clergy have started accepting blacka as equals. That is why most black baptist preachers are politically vocal. Nothing has changed since then. The DNC just changed tactics because racism is no longer cool in the new world! So they are now using the Robinhood ideology because they know the poor blacks and hispanics can easily be fooled! So you agree that democrats were racists in the 1800s but have now 'repented', so why are you still living in the past and turning a blind eye to the current racists ?. |
thelastPope: Bush fought a war because America was attacked! Not because he just wanted to fight wars. So if someone come into America to from say Yemen and drops a bomb that kills 5000 people, Obama will fold his hands and smile and let it pass? Very funny. Is it not Nigerians here that are asking Goodluck to go to war with Cameroun?America was attacked by Iraq ? I still haven't read or heard about any form of connection of Iraq with OBL. So if Mutallab had blown up the plane, Nigeria will be bombed. thelastPope: The assumption that Romney will start fighting wars is very funny. Pure crap!Yes Romney will start a war, everything points to the likelihood of that happening : - He's been seriously drumming up war talk but let's just assume it is mere word of mouf. - Mitt Romney has no beliefs of his own so he can easily be influenced. - He knows little or nothing about foreign policy and to add insult to injury, he's surrounded himself with all of Bush's foreign policy advisers and people like John Bolton, Robert Joseph, Elliot Cohen (check their forte); getting approval and endorsements from someone like Don Rumsfeld . People who call for invasion and demolition of everything and everywhere. |
thelastPope: You must have copied this from the democratic party's website I guess. For your information, Obama has put America in more debt than all the past American presidents put together. Over 5trillion dollars. If you know anything about accounting, then you cannot call that a successful man. For the first time in history, China has downgraded America's ratings. That is one of the biggest economic disgrace America has ever suffered. America is hanging by the thread and are 2 steps away from becoming greece. Please don't tell me the employment rating is now under 8% after about 41 months record breaking high? Just one month to election? That's a big joke and the propaganda of the year! That's doctored figures. The job ratings cannot be improving when those applying for welfare are also increasing at over 47million? You got to be kidding me!Ratings downgraded : who do we thank for that ? A half-page bill to raise the debt ceiling that usually doesn't take much fuss to sign, took months of drama by the house republicans and eventually got signed minutes before the deadline. It was downgraded because bitter politics was getting in the way of business and not because China thinks America may never be able to pay up. About the unemployment conspiracy, why was it not a conspiracy when it was above unacceptable levels ? Bad news is cool and good news is terrible right. Besides, over the months, its been on a decline for the most part so its no surprise it dropped below 8. |
thelastPope: There is no vacuum in society. America is borrowing at an alarming rate becuse the have a president who is trying to dole out handouts and freebies but what they are not asking is who foots the bill? The end result is Spain or Greece! And when that time arrives which might be soon, the so called poor will be the most vulnerable. I read the other day that the Greek prime minster or so was warning that democracy is under threat. That is what an economic chaos in America will bring. It will spell the end of democracy as we know it and usher in dictatorship! If you think it is impossible, then you are very naïve!Newt Gingrich must have convinced you to believe his lies. Where did most of the money go ? Don't you think the economy wouldn't have been worse off if the economic stabilizers weren't applied ? A huge chunk of the debt came from Bush's wars and they should be asking who will foot the bill for the one Romney is planning. How does Romney plan to cut spending when he talks of increasing defense spending, building more warships, tax cuts for the rich and all that ? |
thelastPope: Fast forward to 2012 and what are they preaching? Take the money from the rich and give it to the poor! And folks are saying wow! This is the messiah! He is a normal guy! he wants to help the poor! That is sheer nonsense!!! Robinhood economics! It doesn't work and never worked! The whole concept of capitalism (capitalism is not perfect though) is about freedoms and free enterprise. It is about dreams. It is about ambitions and aspirations! It is the concept that anyone can make it to the top if they aspire to work hard! The Obama ideology paints the picture that the rich are bad guys! It is the Robinhood mentality. So if the rich are bad guys, then why do we all aspire to be rich? People are bad whether rich or poor! Society does not need to take from the rich and give to the poor. Society needs to provide platforms and support and every hard working man needs to pull up their sleeves and go dig it out! That is what the American dream is all about. It is not Robinhood economics, it's about everyone paying their fair share. There is a huge amount of debt to be cleared and it is only right to ask people to pay according to their capabilities. The repubs are trying to make it sound like he hates the rich people and detests success, even though the rich have benefited most from the markets doing well, they keep talking about class warfare. Obama did not invent the payroll tax, he has not waived the work requirements for welfare, ................. |
thelastPope: That being said, I will not support Obama or the DNC because I know that the concept of freedom and equality they preach is a farce! It is the great deception. It is economic slavery strategy that has been planned since the 1930s. The democrats decided to change rethoric after the fall of racial segregation in the 50s and 60s. Just a reminder that the democrats were the slave masters. They were the party that wanted to keep blacks as slaves and keep racial segregation. They fought against every anti-slavery bill. They formed the kkk. They killed Martin Luther King Junior. So anyone telling me they have suddenly changed knows nothing of history. Political groups never change ideology. They only change strategy. Their ideology has never changed. They have always preached liberalism and they still do! And the idea is, do whatever you have to do to achieve it, including using a black man whom you hate. This is not the 1860s, so who is more racist now, Dems or Repubs ? |
thelastPope: Someone said we should worry about Goodluck. That is ignorant talk. In today's world, an event in bangladesh can render 1 million people bankrupt in Nigeria. Every enlightened person knows that you must be concerned about what goes on around the world today, not just your country. Part of what we are suffering in Nigeria today is the effect of the global financial meltdown of 2008/2009. The wars aroound the world affects oil prices either positively or negatively and that means it directly impacts Nigeria economically.Exactly why you should be supporting Obama and not Romney who is hell bent on striking Iran and showing the world how powerful America's military is. |
thelastPope: And breaking news: another America ambassador has just been shot dead in Yemen. Foreign failure of the worst kind.Ambassador or security chief at the US embassy ? |
Nigerian Police !!! What a hopeless bunch. SMH. ![]() |
It is no news that the repubs are bloody warmongers, that's why Dikkkk Cheney was in bed with different weapons dealers and death merchants when he was VP; Why are the repubs hell-bent on funding the department of defense well beyond what they need even when the defense secretary is saying "we dont need all this money" , the repubs are trying to shove it down their throats. Why are the evil Koch brothers and NRA pumping in so much money into republican campaigns at the house and presidential levels? The war on the streets is a small-scale war caused by their anti gun-control stance. violent: Lesson 1: If for some far fetched reasons, US strikes Iran, Russia and China will only scream and moan, but will not risk putting millions of their own citizen's life at risk to save little Iran! It's simple, they have no reasons to do so. With it's waverider hypersonic program, the US has made so much advancement with technologies that can strike anywhere in the world within an hour. Why will China risk putting it's 1 billion + citizens at risk of annihilation because of Iran? Surely China is more important to the Chinese than Iran, no?A military confrontation with Iran may not necessarily degenerate into a full-scale world war where China and Russia will get involved. If the US strikes, it will probably be an Iraq-style war of strike and invade or they let Israel throw the first punch and give them full backing. However it comes, it will totally destabilise the middle east and devastate the fragile world economy; everyone will be affected somehow someway. The world doesn't need this right now. violent: Lesson 2: Mitt Romney is NOT stupid. He knows he will not get the support of the United States public if he attacked Iran. He knows oil prices will increase astronomically if he did. He knows the United State's fragile economy will bear the brunt of a rising oil price, so he's more likely to play the Obama game of sanctions than send off troops to Iran. This is even truer given that Iran's economy is beginning to feel the hard pain impact of those sanctions.A lot of people would have said the same about Bush before he invaded Iraq but Dickkk Cheeney deceived him to deceive the nation in turn and proceed with the senseless war. They didn't get full support from the public but went ahead. Mitt doesn't care about oil prices going up, he wouldn't be interested in oil from the middle east anyway since he plans to carry on with "drill baby drill" and the keystone pipeline deal. Is Iran really feeling the impact of the sanctions ? , I doubt it. China, India and Russia have been doing business with Iran and most recently Switzerland; Geneva-based Vitol has been helping Iran sell their oil. This is foreign policy red meat for the repubs to criticize Obama's approach of sanctions and diplomacy and push their own campaign for a military option. violent: Lesson 3: Israel, even if adventurous, is not stvpid enough to attack Iran on it's own. Attacking Iran's nuclear site is the kind of Job that you either get it done completely or you don't touch it at all. Israel does not have the military capacity to execute a clean cut strategy like that on it's own, it needs the United States...and if we all assume that the United States is not in mood for another war, it means the status quo of upping the military threats while applying sanctions will just have to do good enough for Israel.Yeah, all they need is assurance from the US, that they will get back-up. Romney's rantings about striking Iran has reached the level where you say something over and over again to the point that you believe it is the right thing. He is very much for military action and the consequences will be dire. |
why this referee dey use power flash Pepe yellow card ? Na fight ? ![]() |
Ronaldo almost committed suicide with that attempted bicycle kick, or maybe he actually did, still clutching his shoulder - time will tell. |
Habeebpain: Gerard Butler in Bourne legacy? I think that's Jeremy Renner o!!!Yeah, it was Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye from the avengers). Babe, take note. ![]() Boondocks ? Lol !! ![]() |
naijababe: That Bourne legacy was rubbish, abeg! The only saving grace was watching Gerald ButlerYeah, nothing really intriguing about it. oyin50: .I have seen it, wasn't too strikingI thought you might be interested cos u mentioned the Bourne series and it's the newest of them. If you like horror, try theatre bizzare; I love horror movies but this one is just too stup.id . |
oyin50: Please can anyone help in recommending a spy or heist movie like, unsual suspects, history of violence, unthinkable, Bourne series, silence of the lambs, body of lies, vantage point. Not too many senseless actions. I am dead bored"The Bourne legacy" is a new movie out from the Bourne series; the story line is almost the same though. |
Best - - Avengers Worst - - Theatre Bizzare (what a horrible movie). |
