There's no much wrong in what Kobo said about corruption and using China as an example. CORRUPTION is obviously the reason why the country's reputation is in shambles and almost beyond repair. The corruption on different scales by Yahoo boys, government officials (@ least Ibori made CNN), etc all contribute to dragging the Nation's name to the gutters and if corruption can be tackled and brought under reasonable control then we're on the path to redemption. The death penalty attached to an offence of corruption in China puts everyone in check.

OYINBOGOJU: The only rapper that release 2 albums in a year.
Nas had "I am" and "Nastradamus" in the same year and "Street's Disciple" was a double album if that counts

afam4eva: I'm not saying it's a rumour for everyone. Most of those people that don't ship to Nigeria have not gotten their finger bitten. They're just acting based on popular knowledge.
Sometimes, it is wise to learn from other people's experiences.
BusinessRe: Online Sellers Refuse Shipping To Nigeria (Pic) by KayDee4: 6:09pm On Aug 01, 2012
The system and Yahoo boys are both to be blamed. In a case where CC payments from Nigeria are not even accepted, I say no thanks to yahoo boys and where you buy something successfully and along the way it mysteriously disappears into thin air, who do we thank for that ?
I bought stuff from amazon in 2009 and I used my office address in V.I to ensure it is easy to locate but the goods never arrived; at a point, the tracking info was "there is no further information available for this shipment". My bank assured me they would refund the money after I sent them all the e-mail discussions I was having with amazon and the seller and when they did, it turned out to be a problem between me and amazon and they eventually suspended my account (till date) saying I refused to pay for goods i bought.

PoliticsRe: Breaking News Image Of Nigeria Compare To Other OIL Countries Pictures!!!! by KayDee4: 3:12pm On Aug 01, 2012
@OP's picture comparison is extremely biased considering the pic he selected for naija but I still see the truth in the message he's trying to pass. The truth is bitter but it has to be told . . . the state of our social amenities is not a reflection of our wealth of natural and human resources.
PoliticsRe: Roads That Lead To Jail In Lagos by KayDee4: 2:13pm On Aug 01, 2012
Do offenders have the option of an appeal or is it straight-off to jail ? , because sometimes the mistakes could be genuine especially if you're driving in unfamiliar territory, LASG should also put up signs in places where they will be more conspicuous. I know the notorious unilag road axis that suddenly changes from a dual to a one-way road, the sign is badly rusted and there's a good chance you will miss it, the adjoining road from Onike changes in the same way but the sign is a lot clearer. Foreign AffairsRe: Most Dangerous Job: War Correspondent by KayDee4: 4:41am On Jul 31, 2012
O di kwa risky
Being a soldier on the front lines is even riskier but I still bow for those war correspondents; Seen a tank blow up right behind Christiane Amanpour and bullets flying around Jennifer Ecccleston's head in Iraq; and unfortunately Marie Colvin and her camera man killed in Syria, Nic Roberston, A. Cooper, etc etc. Its really a risky job
Haven't been following. Hook us up with the latest. cheesy

Who's leading in all the polls?
A virtual tie in the National polls. It's been fire for fire from both ends; Obama's camp hitting Mitt with Bain and tax returns attacks and Romney and his fellow republican clowns are using the dirtiest and most dishonest ads and campaign strategies. We'll get a better picture of which way the polls will lean after the convention nxt month and Mitt names his VP. I'm sure the attacks will intensify and we'll see who's winning the fight. grin

I'll rather make the second room a study where I can sit in and do serious stuff when they come up but we'll have a common bedroom and common bed. cool Still wondering what privacy/space some peeps are talking about here. undecided undecided

Pataki: Though we lost today's match, these young lads really impressed me. There are a lot of potentials with these boys and I really hope the motivation will stay stronger for us to go out and win some trophies.
Arsenal I believe-in with all my heart. cool
Yep, the performance was quite impressive and we created chances (normal) but cldn't score cos we had no real striker in the 1st half and for the 2nd, we had oga Chamakh. Their GK was busier of the 2 , even though Flabby had to do the ball-picking from behind the net, unfortunately cry . Particularly, I liked the players' itch to shoot from any range with every opening they got, OxChambo, Santos, Theo, and even Gibbs all had cracks at goal, they didn't miss by very far and the city keeper made some brilliant saves.
