Politics / Re: TIME Writer, Rajvanshi Locks Her Twitter Account Due To Attack From Nigerians by kayjay69(m): 1:10pm On Apr 14, 2023
So let me get this straight, Obi supporters by lambasting an editor, who essentially publishes what I would refer to as a paid opinion piece, are DISGRACING Nigeria. But INEC and Tinubu conniving to rig the 2023 President elections in the full glare of everyone did not disgrace Nigeria. Tinubu who has links to heroin trafficking who is now President select, is not a disgrace to Nigeria.

I love how you people are trying to gaslight others simply because they are standing firmly for what they believe in. These tactics will not work sorry.
Britishpea:
These people are giving Obi bad names abroad and disgracing Nigeria. We look like uncouth, angry illiterates. Education teaches civility.

The failure of the current govt couldn’t make them to regulate the social media. Any govt that will succeed in Nigeria must regulate social media. The hate being propagated from it is huge. We can’t continue like this. The world won’t take us seriously.

How can these people think that Obi is the only person who’s good in Nigeria? This is getting too much.

I don't know why you will bother yourself about these for hire bloggers like Omojuwa.
People often think somehow because someone has x number of followers on Twitter and because they are deft at rolling out tweets, their opinions matter. They do not.
MasterJayJay:
Omojuwa is a FOOL. Nobody was killed.

Buhari supporters burnt more than 350 churches after he lost in 2011 elections.. Omojuwa kept shut and voted for Buhari in 2015 and 2019.

Here is what I understand from the heap of rubbish that you spewed out

The individual also known as Bola Ahmed Tinubu (female, real age = unknown) has been using Lagos State funds to buy his way from the North to the South of Nigeria. Before he had access to Lagos State funds, he used proceeds from heroin trafficking to buy his way into politics.

He was living in the US whilst hustling as a heroin trafficking criminal as he admitted to in the court documents available to all.

He is not a visionary of any kind. He is simply an opportunist. He has absolutely nothing to offer anyone, aside his horde of zombies of which you appear to be among.

Ellasure:

You don't have the understanding of elections and strategies for winning elections.

Before you dabble further into your giving unnecessary support to your imagine winner at the court of competent jurisdiction just think small.

It not all the contestants at the last election have equal understanding and possess good winning strategy

Despite the fact that Atiku has been participating at the elections since 1999 he doesn't know how elections were lost and won. He may be very good at deploying financial inducements for election but it appears no serious effort he made to coalesce the PDP into a formidable political fighting force and hence get a victory at the elections.

A situation where PDP presented three candidates at three notable political party for the same election it is a guarantee for election failure.

Also, the financial firepower was splintered into three too. How can Atiku win under that situations. He really shot himself at the foot and has himself to blame. Simplicita.

Peter Obi was living and campaigning without adequate knowledge of politicking, adequate financial firepower, lacking people with requisite experience in Nigeria political campaigns, using Nigerian Nollywood movie actors and actresses as focal point and lacking physical presence in several states in the southern and northern states of Nigeria landscape. He was literarily campaigning in the cloud of the Nigerian landscape.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the other side has been participating in the Nigerian political landscape ever since and was always involved in the gubernatorial election of several states across Nigeria. He was always involved in strategic planning and execution always recruiting people to get victory at the polls. He has been winning some and losing depending on fortune. He was living in USA for several years and I am sure he has been watching the US elections with keen interest dreaming to use lessons learnt one day.

No one should begrudge Tinubu because he has laboured well for his political career and victory at the elections. Other people should go and learn how to play their roles well at future Nigeria elections. It is Tinubus time to shine in the sun and I hope he will do well for the country.

Otherwise, he will have himself to blame for a failure.

So if they don't protest, it is evidence that the elections were not rigged.

And if they protest, it is evidence that the opposition have paid people to protest the elections that were not rigged.

By your logic, I guess also in Rivers and Lagos where we saw heavy voter intimidation by the ruling parties in those states, the elections were not rigged.

But you still haven't answered my question just as Tinubu is yet to sue David Hundeyin for defamation of character. Which can only mean what I alluded to is correct, the elections were rigged albeit amateurishly. The evidence speaks for itself, voting results were uploaded to INEC's Irev portal days before the actual election was conducted. And this was the same result used by the INEC chairman to declare your preferred candidate winner.

Anyway, with the likes of you there is no logic or reason. The perfect definition of fascists really.

NAF base is regarded as progress.
You cannot make this stuff up really. This is exactly why persons like your principal thrive, people such as yourself clearly lack the most basic capacity to even ask the relevant questions. This is clearly demonstrated in what you regard as progress.

I grew up and I am from that state. An airport, a landing strip or an NAF base is the last thing that state needs. But ofcourse for propagandist such as yourself, it is progress.

Bros, it is clear that he was not referring to the entire Yoruba ethnic group.

You can call it however way you choose. The video is available online, he was speaking within a very specific context. And yes, those Lagos-based state sponsored thugs of Yoruba extraction are rascals. If you support them and their king, which I know you do, then you are also a rascal.
LegendHero:

So because I called Iwanyawu a pig you wrote all this epistle.

So you agreed he said Yoruba are rascals but your defense is that he is referring to a section of the Yoruba.

—Can I say Igbo terrorists too to qualify the section of IPOB terrorists and when they ask me, I will say I am reffering to some section of Igbo.

—Can I start saying Igbo drug dealers too and when they ask me I will say I’m referring to some section of Igbo that traffic drugs?

Why can’t he just say rascals in Lagos instead of saying Yoruba rascal? Do you people think at all?

I don't think you need a soothsayer to tell you that this was how Tinubu was able to rig the Presidential elections and he intends to ensure same is done at State level.

If indeed you and your party are as popular as you have said, then you should have zero to fear about e-transmission of results.

The fact that the court has to essentially regurgitate what is written in clear black and white as captured in the latest electoral act, just shows the level of decadence in Nigeria.

You are either a different level of dumb or pretending to.

LP has never stated that it relied on the IREV results. The IREV results are still loading up until now so how can LP claim they used these incomplete results

The results LP and PDP likely have used are the ones sent to them by all of their PU officers which they signed off on before it was captured via IREV. They cannot announce that because by Nigerian law, it would be a crime to do so however they have claimed that based on these figures they won.

To further butress their claim, they have asked to access the data on the IREV itself so that they can cross check it with what was reported to them from each PU. This is not a difficult thing to understand unless ofcourse to the simple minded.
helinues:

Bro, both Pdp and LP did not have standard tallying centre to collate all the results for the presidential election. They relied mostly on what would be displayed on Irev. When LP did not even have thousands of agents across the polling units.

None of them have been able to come out with their final number, all they have just been claiming is they won.

You see the results on Irev, downloading it one by one considering how big Nigeria is, to get the accurate results when collating, it will take nothing less than a month.

Like you see those Obi's supporters in particular, those people just like to dey deceive themselves

I would not call agitation wasted efforts.
If people don't agitate the status quo will remain and the status quo is eating each and every one of us on a daily basis.

I encourage agitation. It is agitation that gave birth to this new obidient movement. It is agitation that will get us closer to having the conversations we ought to be having. I remember when there were no agitations, absolutely nothing was happening.

So please, I encourage agitations with meaningful outcomes. And we are not other countries, other countries that you mentioned have one or two things working in their favour, we don't have anything working for us, not one single thing except corruption is working in Nigeria. So comparing us to others is Apples to Oranges.
OceanRed:

YES YOU ARE RIGHT, but the onus fell on the people to make them do their responsibility. wasted efforts on unnecessary agitation all over the country should be directed at them. that is how it is done in other countries, the citizens always direct their anger on the law makers or parliament members as the case may be

Politics / Re: Lagos Guber: You Want One Nigeria, Yet You Want Igbos To Leave Lagos - Aloy by kayjay69(m): 12:29am On Mar 14, 2023
You just contradicted yourself.

There is a reason why lawmakers are not even moving such an agenda? The reason is right before your very own eyes. Do we really elect our leaders in this country? Even when we manage to scale that hurdle, you still need 2/3 of the National Assembly for such to pass and last I checked alot of these lawmakers out there are not interested in such. Because they are direct beneficiaries of the current system.

It is the people that must unite to force this change. And again I say, the so-called Yoruba people that do not want Igbo people in Lagos can simply support Yoruba nation. When Yoruba nation is achieved, Igbos will have to leave for Biafra nation and your solution is achieved. But you see my friend, the same idiots who want Igbos to leave Lagos are the same fools who are perfectly okay with One Nigeria even if the One Nigeria continues to consume them and their families.

It does not matter that killer Fulani herdsmen continue to rampage through Southwest Nigeria, so far they can focus on Igbos and convince themselves and the fools around them that Igbos are the source of their problem, then it is okay.

But do not worry, eventually whether we all like it or not, Nigeria is not sustainable. You are seeing it before your very own eyes, inflation will continue to increase, corruption will continue to increase, things will continue to go bad, this is not a wish of mine, this is the reality on ground. At a point, the people themselves will rise up and go mad because the suffering will become unbearable. Only then will we see One Nigeria, the same entity setup by the British to fail, distintegrate.
OceanRed:

werey, you think everyone na mumu, how in the world will anyone get yoruba nation when the lawmakers that are supposed to move for referendum to achieve such are not doing so? any group of people trying to achieve secession without going thru proper channel is just being nuisance and disturbing other people. not everyone will support such
