Did you miss the part where party agents were coerced into signing off on elections result sheets? Did you miss the part where the PU sheets were heavily doctored at the state collation centers which is what has led to the heavy discrepancy that produced Adekunle Tinubu (F) as the winner of the just concluded sham elections? Did you miss the part where INEC officials purposely lied that BVAS machines were not working in several PUs all so that they could resort to manual which is the very process we sought to avoid by adopting the BVAS and IreV system? Or are we going to pretend like that never happened? Nigerians have convenient amnesia. We are a special breed of people. It is no wonder our leadership understand us and it is not a coincidence that we have the type of leadership that we have. ahms12: |
You ask what is it and I reply, it is really simple, in Nigeria there has never been nor will there ever be consequences. No consequences either from a concerned citizen putting a bullet in the head of any corrupt public official and certainly no consequences from the joke of the justice system we have always had. So yes, there goes your answer. Novarisammy2: |
THIS!!! OkpaNsukkaisBae: |
The South West people will benefit next to nothing under Tinubu. It is the people who hail from SW and are close to the corridors of powers that will benefit. The average South westerner will not benefit one thing. Whatever projects this government manages to undertake in the South West, I am almost certain it will be paid for by South Westerners one way or the other, you can carve these words in stone somewhere. The only glory that has come is that of Tinubu and those loyal to him. It is the turn of Tinubu and his gang, Nigerians will be the biggest losers as it was under Buhari and virtually all previous past administrations. honeyB2018: |
Only idiots such as the fool you are responding to believe in that wishes theory. It has never worked but since Nigerians prefer to play gamble with their future, they are often bought by these type of lines. And so another 8 years will go and things will get worse. Agbegbaorogboye: |
This matter is a very very simple matter. The only people on here doing mental gymnastics are the CORNfused bunch. If Tinubu won as INEC declared, they should have absolutely nothing to fear. They should stand by the results that they used in declaring him winner. It is a simple case of primary school mathematics, PUs results tie to State and State to Federal. Why is INEC behaving like they contested the just concluded elections? The whole idea is for them to simply waste time, deny LP and Obi's counsel the evidence they need to prove their case. This is a big shame honestly. But this is Nigeria, absolutely nothing surprises me about this cursed, godforsaken country. So now our own Democracy every 4 years will require the courts to determine who really won? We clearly lack the capacity to govern and rule ourselves, in the eyes of the colonialists, were they not right after all? We love taking shortcuts in everything. Imagine 60+ years removed from direct colonial rule and this is the best we get? We are who we are, a people so backward and driven by selfishness that we would rather everything burn so that our interests may be fulfilled. It doesn't matter if you relocate the entire Nigerian populace to say USA or Western Europe and relocate those same people down here, in 10 years we will have replicated another Nigeria in those places and they will have replicated their countries in Nigeria. It is a people that make anywhere on God's green earth what it is and we are a special breed of people from all accounts. |
If Tinubu won the election free and square as you are claiming, then INEC will have complied with the requests to release the election materials. 3 months past the presidential elections and INEC is yet to fully release the election materials. If Tinubu truly won then let us all see how he indeed won. Show us exactly the results sheets he was used to be declared winner and let us compare from each and every PU across the country. Simple. But as usual, the devil is in the details and we know TINUBU did not win the elections as the IREV results have shown. We know a simple cross checking of the results sheets that INEC used versus what was pasted across each and every PU in the country will reveal a very huge margin that cannot be explained. TINUBU came a distant 3rd, Northerners did not vote for him, they voted for Atiku. Southerners did not vote for him, they voted for Obi. That he successfully bought the INEC chairman to write and produce fake results which were announced does not mean he won. He remains the President select of LieGeria. Nothing can change this. And I pray that May you and your family live long to enjoy the many proceeds that will come from his regime, because I am more than certain by the time Tinubu is done with Nigeria, you will wish for Buhari to come back. jogojogo: |
Clearly you are lost beyond redemption so that post was not meant for you Mr Abobaku Oloriburuku. Destiny oribu yin. Destiny of thieving and corruption loading. And I pray you, your family and all your loved ones enjoy the destiny that Tinubu has in storage for you all. Baatunde: |
A delusional old fool who will go to his grave delusional rather than profess in regret his role in this entire debacle. |
Congratulations to the President Select of the Federal Republic of Liegeria. The FACTS remain that: - A known heroin dealer, a very corrupt individual of highly questionable history and character has now been sworn in as your President. - The election results that brought him to power even 3 months afterward are still being cooked as I type. - A man who brought himself to office with less than 5% of votes (from the voting populace). I wish you what you wish yourselves Liegerians. A sad day indeed not just for you all but for any black skinned person across the entire world. |
A thief broke into your house with the sole intention of robbing you. Despite the defensive measures you put up, the thief found a way to outsmart you and has now gained entry into your household. Now you are pleading with the thief to be people oriented in his approach, he should not cart away all your property. This same logic can be applied above. Unfortunately many of us do not think about Nigeria in personal terms when we think of or utter some of the rubbish similar to what the bishop is spewing. We always think that the madness characterizing Nigeria is in no way connected to our own reality because afterall Nigeria is Nigeria and it does not affect you. No worries, you all will bear witness to Tinubu's presidency, I hope many of you who have actively supported him will live long enough to give feedback. But asper usual I will not expect even an admission of guilt, your insanity and coping mechanism is simply going to look for another bastard to package and sell again to Nigerians in another 8 years. And naso time go dey go and nothing will ever change. |
There are no clichés in any of what I have said. These are facts that will outlive you, myself and even Tinubu's so-called Presidency. Actively choosing to ignore the facts on ground will not change the facts on ground. Trying to whitewash them won't change them either. The truth is out there. favor914: |
The interest of what entire nation? The same nation that voted overwhelmingly for Peter Obi? All of these will never change the facts that Tinubu, a known heroin dealer, rigged the 2023 Presidential elections. Until now, nobody knows who voted for him. No matter what happens from here on, these are the facts and they will never change. alizma: |
When a known drug dealer is president select, pilfering NDDC funds should be the least of our collective worries. Revolution2022: |
He is not the recognized party chairman. The only people who recognize him are the ones who mobilized him on this display of madness. The case is still in court and the Labour Party NEC have suspended Lamidi Apapa so on what mandate is he now the party chairman? Na by age den dey appoint chairman? He is a rabble rouser and a trouble maker, like you and your paymasters. You people are so afraid that you have mobilized this old fool on a fools errand to do your failed bidding. You never an election, you cannot prove it in court, INEC cannot produce the result sheets, election materials and BVAS results to prove Tinubu won but yet you are here supporting a stupid old fool who is trying to do your paymasters bidding. Oloriburuku madridguy: |
This is exactly why I will never ever ever support the Nigerian Police Force in any matter whatsoever. What the hell has Seun assaulting the officer in question got to do with his and his wife's phones. Animals will always behave like and remain as animals. |
Agreed however can we also serve the same justice to the many police officers who have harassed and sometimes killed innocent civilians. Justice must be served both ways, not one way. Sitwalkstand: |
There is a video during one of Tinubu's symposiums where Soyinka himself said Tinubu and himself went into business together to import rice from Taiwan. Soyinka's son served as Commissioner for Health in Ogun State. Soyinka is known to be paid by the Ogun state government in some capacity. Unless these do not convince you nothing else will. shonepa: |
Soyinka is nothing but a cornman. His relationship and affiliation to Tinubu and the APC is well documented. Now I do not begrudge him on this, however he cannot pretend he is some type of unbiased conscionable observer. His generation are wholly to blame for the rut we find ourselves in as a country. At the very least, he owes us his silence not unguided and silly comments targeted towards the young men and women who are clamouring for a better country through the means they know how. |
He is actually right, however the question to ask is has this administration created the enabling environment for jobs to be created? We all know the answer to that. |
TINUBU is a British and US KOMPROMAT, nothing will come of this unfortunately. The UK is a very very corrupt country, their corruption works for the extremely rich, it is not a coincidence that virtually all the stolen money across the world finds its way through the London Financial system, one way or the other. Obidients shouldn't concern themselves with news such as this, they should focus on battles they can win. EKONGKING: |
Not to piss on your parade but I hope you guys know that Guinea, Conakry is a designated drug transit hub. I don't know why we move from a President with known ties to Terrorists to a President with known ties to Drug trafficking. |
This man is hailed a hero but God forbid you simply flag this, it will be termed as "hate speech" and you will be said to be inciting violence against the Fulani. |
Even if it was rigged right. Just accept it right? |
Isale Eko Barack Obama. All talk, zero action. Dishonorable Minister of Homelessness, Darkness and Potholes. Babatunde Fashole. |
Ekiti is the most Christian state in SW Nigeria. Christians make up atleast 80-85% of the total population, if not more. But somehow the Governor there just wants to bend over backwards to show that not only is he athletic but he is great at kissing ass. I can understand a state like Osun or Oyo. Anyway, that is the archetype of the useless Nigerian politicians that we have. |
Which one be Dallas citizenship again oh. Damn, this one must be fresh from one of your APC WhatsApp groups. DOptical: |
It is meaningless to you and does not make any sense to you because in the place inside your head where you should have a brain, you have nothing there. Just empty space filled with hot air. You are calling Obidients fascists because they do not agree with your point of view. You are here bleating that they attacked a Times magazine journalist because it does not agree with your narrow set of views. If they are fascists as you have pointed out, then you are no different from them. And if you will not admit that they are fascist then case closed. You are very quick to use the word fascist yet you don't know it's true meaning or origin. If you did, you would not misuse the word. The facts remain that Tinubu rigged the just concluded President election in conjunction with INEC. The facts remain that Tinubu is a drug trafficking kingpin, that he was not convicted does not mean he was not involved. You can hide a lot of things in this life but you cannot hide the sun, soon enough things will unravel. I just hope you have a means of sustenance other than Nigerian politics. plaindealer: |
Why are you crying more than the bereaved? Are you related to the Time's journalist? See this is the thing I cannot comprehend, Twitter, unlike local media that cannot be suppressed, is a place where everyone can speak and be heard. But since you don't like what they are saying it is fascist. Keep throwing the word around, again I repeat 99% of you people do not know the meaning of that word but no worries very soon under your selected candidate, you will know the meaning. plaindealer: |
Bros, if you support Tinubu, then Tinubu's Nigeria will happen to you. It is not a curse it is simply that which you support will also happen to you. Another good one is may God arrange your life and that of whom you love the same way you have helped arrange and support Tinubu and the same way Tinubu will run Nigeria. I know you will accept this one. Why are you people afraid? So you support Tinubu because you think he is the best candidate but you are afraid of what his presidency will translate to in your personal life? The hypocrisy of Nigerians is alarming. Odogwuzack: |
Soon enough we shall see who the true fascists are. Majority of you use the word Wole Soyinka has put in your heads but don't even know it's true meaning. plaindealer: |
