Nothing goes around and come around. Step out of the delusion, Peter Obi lost the election fair and square.

I don’t know if you guys are under some hypnosis because it’s only chronic delusion that can make you believe Obi won the election and was rigged.

How exactly could he have won? Where is the number in the core North?

Few weeks ago I thought you guys are just trolling and irrational due to the pain of defeat. But it seems some of you truly believed Obi won that election, is this some sort of derangement syndrome?

You guys are so daft in reasoning. If you claim he lost fair and square, then why don't you allow him access to the server so he can see it for himself even lecturers allow students to see their graded exam sheet after marking so why is this one different.
Like PO said if you want to be called "Your excellency", you must go through an excellent way. Characters like you and Tinubu will find life hard in our new Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Court Grants INEC Permission To Reconfigure BVAS by kayjay69(m): 10:00pm On Mar 08, 2023
The only parasites and anti-democratic forces are people like you and your ilk.

You are not interested in facts. So far money enter account, your own job is to come on here and bleat like a goat.

I guess you skipped the part where it said the court instructed INEC to backup the data from the previous election and share that same data with LP and PDP lawyers. You also conveniently forgot but I will remind you that INEC, in the run up to this election, never ever mentioned that they would need to reconfigure the BVAS for the governorship elections.

The stupid group you belong to are the same people not interested in using BVAS but the manual collated results which have heavily been manipulated as evidenced by many who have compared what was announced to what is on INEC iREV server.

LP and PDP never said INEC cannot reconfigure the BVAS. They said they need to inspect the data first before INEC is allowed to do the reconfiguration. This is a win for LP and PDP because if they did not raise that alarm, the sensitive data from the previous election would be lost in transit like everything else that has been lost from this country. And stupid people such as yourself will come on here to defend it.
seunmsg:
I’m glad common sense prevailed at the end of the day. The judiciary must continue to defend our democracy from parasites and anti-democratic forces who want to grab power at all cost even after losing the election.

The request from Peter Obi’s camp was a senseless one knowing fully well the governorship and house of assembly elections cannot hold without reconfiguring BVAS. We really need sincere and selfless leaders in this country and not characters who don’t mind ruining the entire political process just for their selfish and self serving ambition. Kudos to the court of appeal.

Politics / Re: Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket Caused APC’s Defeat In Lagos: Sanwo-Olu (Video) by kayjay69(m): 8:57pm On Mar 08, 2023
I disagree fully with your assessment.
The folks who are blindly pro-Yoruba are actually the Osun and Oyo axis.

I won't speak for Ondo but I know for a fact that Ekiti people are not what you just described. Again, I just told you the election results quoted by INEC were found to have been uploaded prior to the date of election itself.

Tinubu did not even rig much in the SW, it was in the North where he perfected his rigging erasing any big lead that Atiku could have gathered over him. And you can see the actual Lagos result, I believe Ogun is not what was released as well, not saying he wouldn't have won Ogun but I believe Obi and Atiku scored more than what was released in Ogun and Ekiti. I will not speak for Ondo, I don't know their politics that well.
LegendHero:

If they do election 1000 times, Tinubu will win Ekiti all 1000 times.

I am not about to start arguing with a nobody online with regards to Ekiti/Ondo axis. No Yoruba state is as pro-Yoruba as those folks.

Check Awolowo elections, the old Ondo has always been one of the fiercest supporters and even Afenifere sprang from that area.

Politics / Re: Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket Caused APC’s Defeat In Lagos: Sanwo-Olu (Video) by kayjay69(m): 8:30pm On Mar 08, 2023
You mean the results in Ekiti that were uploaded prior to the election day

Ekiti is the most Christian state in South West Nigeria. If you think an overwhelming number of Ekiti people voted en masse for Tinubu as the result described, I'd like you to think again. I cannot speak for other states but I'd love to think that I can speak about Ekiti.

Tinubu, with the help of INEC, wrote his way to a return certificate. If each and every man was allowed to vote and INEC relied upon the BVAS results, I assure you Tinubu would have come a distant 3rd. This has nothing to do with politics, people actually despise the man called Bola Tinubu. His uncouth statements asking Yorubas to hand over their land to Fulanis if they wished to live. Defending the killer fulani herdsmen in the wake of Fasoranti's daughters death. Defending Buhari's failed policies shamelessly despite a lot of hardship to Nigerians. These were the things amongst many others that helped him become so unpopular.
LegendHero:
Just like Sanwo Olu said, Muslim-Muslim also contributed to his performance in Lagos coz you have some of these mega churches around that Lagos-Ogun axis.

But what I think contributed more is the Naira and fuel scarcity issue which increased some people hate on APC generally and that affected the polls even in Kaduna/Kano and the core North.

But in the grassroot across Yorubaland, people don’t give a bleep about Muslim-Muslim as evident in Tinubu winning massive votes in Ekiti and Ondo which are the major population of Christians in Yorubaland.

I love this election. It made me believe more in Yoruba unity and we’ve shown the delusionists that Yoruba people are United as one and there is no religious bigotry that will ever divide us.

The saddest moment was when a woman and her son went to the venue where the vehicles were being auctioned and saw their korope bus, their source of livelihood, being auctioned out before their very eyes. I watched it on channelstv. They even made efforts to participate in the bidding process in order to win back their vehicle back, no way!

Is that the personality any sane being would now vote? Desperado.

God bless you Dr Ayo, my friend who owns Grandville Medical opposite VGC. When we moved the casualties into his facility that night, he abandoned all he was doing and attended to all of them, except a few who had lost so much blood and referred to LUTH and lasuth. Only 2 made it to LASUTH while the rest died on their way. The same puppet who heeded the call of his boss first denied calling the army before army came out and told the public it was sanwoolu who called them to go to lekki toll gate. He even confirmed that 2 people who were brought in from lekki toll gate were at lasuth when he visited them. They were at the ER.

Despite all these, some wicked souls still said who died, despite the reports of ensars confirming people died, they were still asking for names. O ga oo.
The family of the victims who knew their children went to lekki protested because their children never returned. They said what's the proof that their children died at lekki toll gate. Meanwhile , parents, family and friends went to the military hospital to identify their children in their Morgue because they took away some bodies from lekki that night but the army said they got an instruction not to open the Morgue for anyone to see. I wish it was a sane country, those in doubt would have kept quiet by now.

Saturday is a pay back period. This has nothing to do with tribe or ethnicity otherwise, Alimosho would have delivered the LG for the apc on the 25th cos the majority there are yorubas with less than 10% igbos. To say Yorubas are Afonjas is not an insult. Virtually all Yorubas politicians and leaders, both traditional and religious, continue to betray the interest of the Yoruba people. They continue to engage in things that are against the interests of the common Yorubas. Provided their personal interests are secured, they are perfectly okay with anything that goes.

Then their stupid supporters turn around and are angry on their behalf for being referred to by their rightful names. The least of their worries should be someone calling them Afonja.

Unfortunately you are still underestimating Tinubu.
By now, I can assure you that he has co-opted most of the militants such as Tompolo, Dokubo, West and the rest of them. So remind me again, who will challenge his mandate or give him trouble from the SS?

I despise him more than most but do not underestimate him. He fooled everyone into thinking it would be about voting whereas he co-opted the INEC chairman personally to do his bidding.

And he knows we cannot do a damn thing about it because not one single Nigerian is ready to die for Nigeria.

We are finished as a people and a country unfortunately. Just do what you can for yourself and for your loved ones. Forget about Nigeria, we, either passively or actively, have elected a convicted drug criminal into the highest office in the land, a kingpin, a godfather. Nothing good can come of it.

Government of National Unity. We have seen this script before. Like 1999, Like 2007. Always usually happens on the heels of a heavily rigged election.

I expect Nigerians to forget in a couple months because it is in our DNA to forget. No worries Tinubu is a masterful politician, by the time they start rolling out their distractions coupled with solving a number of so-called issues, I am sure even some Obi supporters will begin to doubt themselves and doubt if in actuality the election was massively rigged.

The crime scene that is Nigeria will continue to unfold, no worries folks. Now aspiring politicians know that they don't even need you all to vote, they just need to pay the price for the INEC officials and they will be declared winner. You don't like the outcome, seek redress in the same court that the incumbent controls, goodluck with that.

The one thing that I know for sure is one day go be one day but until that day, Nigerians will continue to suffer from their own ignorance and stupidity.

I honestly struggle to understand the relevancy of this post by the man of God. Now I understand he does not personally post these things but whoever is doing so should really stop it, if they don't have anything relevant to say they should keep it quiet or simply continue to preach the message.

People look to him for guidance, especially in these difficult times, if this is all he can provide by pointing out the obvious that we all know, then I am thoroughly disappointed really.

The Church must remember that without a society, there is no church or congregation. Church cannot exist in thin air, the people are the church. I am not saying that the man of God should mount his pulpit and take up sides with one party against the other. But the church and his platform must be used for propagation of positive change not just offering empty palliatives in form of prayers. God will not do for us what we can and must do for ourselves.

If some of the clergy we have in this country will continue to take up position on the fence, then the people who attend these churches have got to stop taking them seriously. Society is boiling over our election and all we hear are empty palliatives.

I respect your viewpoint and this is exactly why Nigeria as a country is a pointless endeavour, an exercise in futility.

So far we continue with this mindset, we will continue to vote into power the wrong set of people, thinking we are doing the right thing, and those wrong set of people will continue to steer the country in the wrong direction.

You cannot expect a criminal looter of a politician to suddenly change his ways and turn a new leaf. This messiah syndrome that has gripped Nigerians from all sides is nothing more than stupidity. He was only speaking for himself as he is one of the candidates. If he had said something specifically addressed toward Yoruba people in general, then okay but this statement you posted is not an insult. It is similar to Tinubu saying we only need a Yoruba as president or Obi saying we only need an igbo man as president. Everyone will speak for themselves, what matters is the people ought to be smart enough to discern who will best represent them and be sincere in their dealings.

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a rig proof system.

So far people are in charge of the system and you rely on people, what you see is what you get especially with Nigerians.

Since 1999, this is our 7th election cycle and the same problems still persist. If you add 1979-1983 and 1960-1964, even pre-independence, you will see that the same problems persist and despite the changing times Nigerians are the only common denominator.

I have long concluded we are our own worst enemies and the root cause of our problems. Our thinking is retrogressive, our ways are backward and really it is not a surprise that Nigeria is the way it is today.

The 79 elections were rigged by the military in favour of their preferred candidate Shagari.
The Igbos did not vote for Awo because of his well documented role during the Civil war. Personally, I am not fazed by most of what he did but the £20 policy was downright wickedness and pure evil.
It set Igbos backwards and they had to start from zero in order to rebuild.
Even after the war, during the oil boom and infrastructure boom that followed under Gowon, it is common knowledge that the East was sidelined as if to make them pay penance for their misgivings.

But today, in a Fulani controlled Nigeria, is it not evident that what the igbos risked their lives for those many years ago was justified. Are we not all witnessing it? In hindsight, they were absolutely right to have seceded, the f****** country is a hellhole as evidenced today.

So please in 79 Igbos were more than justified not to have voted for Awolowo. At that point, their son was on the ballot as VP and Awo's role in the Civil war to their detriment is well documented.
Emekaonline:

To all Yoruba youths and misguided adults…. As we head to the polls in few weeks’ time
You all can see what happens to all Yoruba celebrities and popular figures that expressed their own opinions as to who they would support for this month election. When PSquare and many Igbos celebrities were busy supporting Obi, did you see any Yoruba man or woman writing petition against them or calling them different abusives names? I have told you severally that they will never love you no matter what you do. As they hate your great politicans like Awolowo that made lives easy for your parents, the same they will hate you with passions

As another opportunity just beckons on us to pick another leader this week that will steer the affairs of our nation for the next 4 years, it is important to tell you some history if you are not aware or have been fooled. Please do not be an INDOMIE generation

Chief Obafemi Awolowo was one of the best finest politicians of his time. In 1979, every region in Nigeria knew that he was the best man for the job of presidency but only Yorubas and Mid-West regions and some pockets of districts in the North trusted and voted for him. We begged our Eastern Igbo brothers and sisters to reason with us to vote the man Ojukwu would later call the best President Nigeria never had but they never listened to us. They exercised their rights and decided to vote for Shagari instead. That is why we are where we are today.

In 1999, Yorubas presented again to our eastern neighbours a cerebral Olu Falae who was a better economic manager than OBJ to place Nigeria on the right path. But because Olu Falae’s choice was the preferred candidate of the Yorubas, they voted for a Yoruba enemy instead who is OBJ. Igbos have always been against the interests of Yorubas no matter how good they are. Dont be fooled, they hate you

They will never support your good people even if they will support you at all despite living in your midst. To those of you whose parents have benefited immensely from Chief Awolowo, it will be a shame and disgrace to Chief Awolowo’s memories to vote for those whose people made Awolowo ascension to presidency impossible because of hatred and jealousy. No one is good in the eyes of Igbos except their people. Awolowo was even attacked and stoned in Aba by the children of Belial. Do not romance the enemies of your parents’ benefactors through whom your parents were educated freely with good health

Awolowo and Olu Falae were not good for them then, why should their own be good for you now? They always think they are wiser and better than Yorubas and so only the person they choose must be the best. That is why they are so bitter till today that Yorubas did not vote for Jonathan in 2015 despite voting for him in 2011.

Remember how your haters on the order of their terrorist leader Kanu burnt down Lagos during ENDSARs. They Burnt TVC office, Burnt Oriental Hotel, burnt BRT, burnt Oba of Lagos Palace trying to stop Jagaban on orders of Nnamdi Kanu... Yet Jagaban keeps shining. Some fake but not genuinely recognised by God Christian leaders never uttered a word when Kanu warned his people not to go to any Church led by Yorubas and yet still choose to be gullible. I have never seen how the so-called spiritual leaders will be so gullible

Only bast@rds will vote those who refused to vote for your own best when they had the opportunity because of hatred. The spirit and good deed of Awolowo will fight anyone that rewards his haters with votes in 2023. You may not be a direct beneficiary of the best politician Yorubas have ever produced but your parents might have. History will never forget or forgive you if you choose to romance the enemy of your benefactor by voting for them just because of ignorance and gullibility as whatsoever you sow today, you or your future generations will reap it. Many years after you might have long gone, your children will also spit on your graves and memories by romancing the enemies that made lives miserable and impossible for you.

Please be warned

You do realize Putin in actuality does not wish for this war to end.

Ukraine has already laid out it's terms for both countries to negotiate, the most important remains that Russia must vacate all of Ukrainian lands as recognized pre-2014. Unfortunately, Russia calls this foolish and does not intend to relinquish any lands now under it's control, afterall how will they justify the "special operations" and the countless bodies and resources used in the process.

You must also understand that Putin, however big he has been made to look in the eyes of the world, is only just a man and a man, one single man, cannot rule a country of over 200 million people. If Russia gives in to Ukraine, it is seen as weakness in the eyes of die hard Russian nationalists and they will seek to depose Putin.

Nuclear weapons will not also give Putin his much needed victory, it will only earn him more condemnation on the international stage and more sanctions and it will endear Ukraine to the rest of the world.

Putin is in between a rock and a hard place right now. He cannot win the war on the battlefield as long as the Americans continue to pour their resources into Ukraine, the best he can hope for is a stalemate and I doubt he will get that. And he cannot withdraw because that is political suicide back home. So he will continue to do what he has been doing really, which is resort to using the most dastardly methods with the hope that that will force the Ukrainian people to turn on it's leadership.

But I think Ukrainians know better than to give in to a bully.

God1000:
Vladimir Putin is finally coming to his senses, I said it before that Putin more than anyone else wants this war to end.

His ego won't just let him call for peace talks, he grossly underestimated Ukraine and the resolve of the west.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a complete fiasco and strategic disaster, Putin should just give up his imperial ambition and colonial fantasies

He can't singlehandedly redraw world map in this 21st century, Putin's harmful expansionism must not be allowed to happen

I don't understand why some nigerians continue praising such a psychopath, mass murderer and war criminal who has committed atrocities and crimes against humanity.

No sane and reasonable person will support such egregious individual.

Anybody in support of Putin's barbarism doesn't have the moral compass to speak against boko haram and bandits who are causing havoc and mayhem everywhere in Nigeria.

This man has made Russia a laughingstock and mockery among nations of the world, he has become a global pariah too.
