But ofcourse they won't ever lay claim to this one.

If you see nothing wrong with this, I know you will shout a beautiful AMEN.

Is he not an investigative journalist, let him go and investigate Tinubu

After all Tinubu came out to give press statement that day that he is the owner of the content of the bullion van as a private citizen not holding any political office and he has decided to give people his money

It is left to Hudeyen to go to 26 Bourdillion drive Ikoyi to Investigate the masses that collected Tinubu's money, if he forced them to vote any party at his house

Politics / Re: Make Nigeria 3 Regions; Make Atiku, Tinubu, Obi Head The 3 Regions -Okey Bakassi by kayjay69(m): 10:35pm On Jun 12, 2022
okey bakassi assumes that his audience is filled with rational human beings capable of logical thinking by themselves, of themselves.

unfortunately, Nigerians are neither. across the 200m Nigerians, one thing i have since discovered is the country is the way it is because the leaders are a direct reflection of the country. The leaders of Nigeria today did not fall from heaven, most of them virtually came from poor or middle class backgrounds so it can be argued that they passed through the same hardship that we are now passing through.

the only difference is that they know when they reach the positions of power, all they have to do is remind you of your ethnicity and your religion. in addition, they pay some urchins to come make noise on social media, they pay some others to mobilize support for them. they make promises they have zero intention of keeping and when they get there it is business as usual.

the Nigerian political class can never effect meaningful change for its people, it is not a curse, it is a fact, whether you pray from now till kingdom come. you cannot expect men and women who made their wealth from pillaging public funds to suddenly have a change of heart, it is impossible sorry. It is only Nigerians that can demand for true change but just a sample size on nairaland will reveal just how stupid and how daft most Nigerians are. go on any thread and see for yourself. in your myopia, you praise your very own oppressors. you neglect the real issues. you turn against yourself for no reason and you start to wage stupid wars on each other, doing the devils own work whilst the very people responsible for all your problems are out there happy.

the Nigerian situation has bent Nigerians into subjection and i am afraid to say religion has weakened the average Nigerian mind. to the point where asking pertinent questions about how your own government is being run seems like a crime. Nigerians are greedy and very self-centered. so far my good is own and i am okay, then God has answered my prayers and all is well. it is why same Nigerian youths who represented both parties on the delegate level, were extremely excited. we forget that everything is connected and whatever you do in this life there is cause and effect.

the only way out of this mess we find ourselves is restructuring the country, similar to what okey bakassi suggested but i assure you if 2 out of the 3 men running for Presidency are men whom we know made their money by subverting government funds for themselves then we are wasting time in thinking that Atiku or Tinubu will restructure Nigeria. they simply want access to the President's ATM, the NNPC. Obi cannot restructure Nigeria too, unfortunately the powers of the president limit what he or any of the other two can do. But atleast based on his precedent he is bound to be better than the other two.

only the people can demand meaningful change and only then can we start building an actual country.

You are such an idiot.

Anyone has the right to campaign and support whomever they choose. If you wish to do so, it is your perogative, no one is stopping you. You may not agree with his choice, but no need to villify him.

And last I checked, he is a Nigerian free to live anywhere he chooses. When last did you ask the illegal fulanis to relocate from yorubaland? Oh, so because they are not on twitter actively posting but they are in the bushes spread across SW actively mapping out their takeover strategy.

Stop looking for phantom enemies where they do not exist, you foolish ethnic pawn

Ethic goats

Why isn’t the mumu staying in Anambra despite the massive infrastructure Obi built there. Showing a road that has been totally washed up since 2011 isn’t that the height of callousness

Why is he in the SW thriving there

This wereys and the way they hype failure

Why aren’t millions of Yoruba and SS youths rushing to Anambra

I don't know where you got this statistic from but I honestly doubt that there are 18m more Muslims than Christians in Nigeria.

The census of Nigeria since its inception has always been heavily skewed to favour the North, first by the British and subsequently by every government since then.

When it is in their favour, they will look for ways to justify it. When it is not in their favour or it is being done against them, they will look for ways to weaponize it.

In the end, the political class always win with their divide and conquer style politics using religion and ethnicity, it is gullible and stupid Nigerians that are the losers and they will always be because they still don't understand what is at stake or the fact that they are being played like a fiddle.

grin grin grin grin

Want to know if he will follow through on this, very simple.

Please how much has Lagos State budgeted towards Education since 1999?

Also, budgeting is one thing, how much of the budget gets implemented into actual projects? And how good are these projects, are they worth the money spent on them?

But ofcourse, I know I am talking to myself. Nigerians will never ask these questions. Nigerians are perfectly okay with all that has happened and will still happen to them. Nigerians have been conditioned over time to continue managing and afterall it is his turn "Emi lo Kan".

This same level of reasoning can be applied to the average Nigerian dumping refuse in the neighborhood canal, next to the "don't dump refuse here" sign then when rain season comes, same Nigerian is wondering why his house is flooded.

We are the architects of our own problems and there is no end in sight. I believe we should amend the constitution of Nigeria that one of the qualifications to run for President is you have to be sick and have to have a questionable history, the more questionable the better.

Na stupid nairalanders, so called Putin fans who don't even understand history, either theirs or ours.

There are no good or bad guys in the global geopolitical landscape.

Putin has fallen into the trap of the West. This war will drag and it will cost him and impact the economy of Russia even though they may claim to have some fail-safe. People forget one very important fact, Russia's second largest export after oil and gas is defense equipments.

This war has exposed how ineffective some of their weapons are in comparison to Western weapons. Post war, those customers would turn to the West or loon to develop their capacity inward.

Russia, till right now, cannot impose no-fly zone over Ukrainian skies despite on paper boasting to have a far superior airforce to Ukraine. They are having to resort to using long range missiles to strike targets within Ukraine because their airforce till date has suffered heavy casualties.

It is a war of attrition and it is just sad for Russia.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Russian-Major General Roman Kutuzov Killed By Ukrainian Forces. GRAPHIC PIC. by kayjay69(m): 11:33pm On Jun 05, 2022
Ofcourse there are casualties on both sides but what makes this interesting is because Russia was upheld as the 2nd most powerful military in the world and their illegal invasion against Ukraine was supposed to be a walk in the park per Russian point of view.

In the Vietnam war, it did not matter if the Vietcong lost 100 men to kill 10 US soldiers, their mentality was that it was worth it. But the reverse is even happening and infact it is Russia, the supposed 2nd most powerful military in the world, suffering heavy casualties.

This war has severely exposed Russia as a mere paper tiger. Without their nuclear weapons, they are nothing militarily. Using old USSR war tactics in the 21st century and expecting a difference is recipe for disaster.

Politics / Re: Tinubu: Without Me, Buhari Would Have Lost In 2015 by kayjay69(m): 11:24pm On Jun 02, 2022
You are absolutely right.

And if we are talking money, Tinubu did not spend as much as Amaechi did to enable Buhari's emergence.

In the eyes of Buhari and his cronies, they have compensated him enough. Let us pretend for once the tables were reversed with Tinubu as President and Buhari as vice or having the VP slot. We know Tinubu from his antecedents would never allow Buhari to dictate to him.

The same Tinubu making this statement that he told Buhari not to joke with Yorubas still the same Tinubu that told Yorubas to surrender their land for Fulani herdsmen. Now he is tryiny to package himself as a saviour and ambassador for the Yoruba, he must think Yorubas are slow people.

Tinubu is just playing to the gallery but he knows his best chance of becoming President is to utilize the machinery of the ruling party to rig votes in his favour. And Buhari knows this as well and I know now for sure seeing Tinubu in desperation mode, Buhari will never give him that ticket. For this alone, I love Buhari.
MadamVanessa:
shocked

Poor Tinubu. The handwriting is clearly written on the wall, that he's going to loose woefully, reason he starts lamenting.

Truth be said, Tinubu played no significant role in Buhari emergence as the president. If there's anyone that can say this again and again and I believe without a doubt it's Rab'u Musa Kwankwaso and other PDP bigwigs who decamped from PDP to APC as at that time.

It's only foolish Idiotic nonentities that will believe this baseless propaganda by Tinubu. Even Lagos state that Tinubu owned as his property, he couldn't influence the election there much. Tinubu was so inconsequentîal in 2015 presidential election.

Okay let's agree with you that you made him president. So your intention was for him to pay you back too? Lol....wake up , you have been played big time.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Russia Says Talks With Zelenskiy Possible, But Negotiations Stalled by kayjay69(m): 5:42pm On Jun 02, 2022
negotiations stalled because you want to annex Ukrainian land on the basis of a belief some conservatives in Russia.

now under the guise of Nazi elements prosecuting ethnic Russians living in eastern Ukraine, you seek to annex these cities where ethnic Russians live.

well, history has proven that if Russia gets what they want, they will not stop until they annex Ukraine entirely and they will go after other countries till they can get back to where the USSR was in terms of size.
Politics / Re: Ndume: Buhari Has Every Right To Pick His Successor, Infact It's Democratic by kayjay69(m): 5:34pm On Jun 02, 2022
Whatever applies in Lagos should apply on the national level.

Mr Eko himself a.k.a Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been picking his successor since 2007. No complaints whatsoever. Infact, successor upon successor sef.

Mr Tinubu should have no complaints with Buhari doing same and if the outcome does not favour him, he should accept it and either go seek redress in court or run on another party platform.
Politics / Re: Buhari Lists Characteristics Of APC Consensus Candidate by kayjay69(m): 7:03am On Jun 01, 2022
you are analyzing this wrongly.

the way I see it, there are two schools of thought in Nigerian politics, Buhari happens to belong to one, Tinubu belongs to the other. Nevermind the fact that Tinubu paved the way for Buhari to become president, Tinubu has never been an religious or ethnic extremist he is more of a pragmatist, even though his so-called pragmatist is used to amass ill-gotten wealth and power for himself and his cronies.

The main difference between Northern and Southern political actors is that the North always want to use power to advance their collective regional interests but the South only wish to gain power for the sake of having power. Buhari and his Fulani brethren are always 10 steps ahead of the average southern politician. They have set in motion certain events which will ensure that one day, should Nigeria remain as an entity, they will no longer have to share power with the South and power shall remain firmly in the North. In the meantime, they have to relinquish said power to the South (but it must be for the least amount of time and to someone they can trust won't betray them) which is why they have tinkered with the idea of GEJ. In Amaechi's case, he has no real base in Rivers hence if he were to get the ticket, their reasoning is his numbers will come mostly from the North (plus rigged votes) and if he wins, he is beholden to them.

The main issue they have with Tinubu is that they cannot trust him and more importantly they know they won't be able to control him. My guess is that Tinubu will likely ally himself with more liberal Northern politicians in a bid to break the hold that the conservatives have on Northern politics and the present faction in power are not happy with this. Remember it does not suit their longer term goals.

Overall, Nigeria is just a keg of gunpowder waiting to explode. Population over 200m with an import driven economy solely reliant on crude sales. Zero infrastructure, stifling corruption, double digit unemployment and inflation rates.

I hate to break it to you but regardless of who becomes president now or in the future, the only solution for each section of this country to avoid the eventual calamity that awaits us, is to split this country. But I know everything I am saying will fall on deaf ears since no one is willing to bear the brunt of what is on ground, we will all suffer the consequences one way or the other.

the same Tinubu Buhari rather than allow his principal clinch Edo state he rather allow pdp an opposition to displace Oshiomole in extension Tinubu.
he knew that Tinubu will have unlimited influence in Apc had it been he won that edo state with oshiomole.
the same Buhari that ousted Oshiomole a Tinubu loyalist and planted his own person to minimise his powers.
the same buhari that selected his loyalist as a party chairman and so on.

the thing is that buhari cannot risk a Tinubu presidency because he knew that Tinubu will deal with him if such power enters his hands.
buhari is a dictator but he's dictatorship is nothing compare to Tinubu's own in Lagos.
such person with that kind of unending influence and decides who stays and who leaves Alausa Lagos is what you're expecting buhari to hand over power to.

The thing is that should Tinubu fail to clinch Apc ticket, he only has himself and his past deeds to blame and not Buhari.

Hypocrisy is when you hail Tinubu as the Jagaban and political guru because he can single handedly pick a governor in Lagos and other positions but you're here expecting buhari not to pick his own Successor.
