GOD BLESS YOU! Post of the day. malali: |
the tweet attributed to the WEF handle posted on the first page by the OP, is fake. it was not tweeted by the official WEF handle. people need to be aware and double check these things in the new era of Elon Musk's Twitter 2.0. i don't know about anything else he has said but the tweet talking about "jesus being the only fake news" is a fake from an unverified account. anyone can get the blue ticker for $8 remember that. |
replace "might" with "will". Nigeria will remain in the wilderness until we split up this God forsaken country. That is the only solution to the conundrum that is Nigeria. AngelicBeing: |

$40bn ![]() ??Not accurate sorry. omonnakoda: |
No need to fund the budget, just divert the bullion van to bourdillon. Afterall, since Tinubu refers to himself as Lagos, it is implied that the money is for funding Tinubu's personal budget. The black race, especially we in this sub-saharan part of Africa, is likely cursed. We must have collectively offended someone powerful somewhere to be going through this s**t that we are going through. And there is no end in sight, just a bottomless abyss. |
100 bags thousand barrels of .... The new SI Unit of measuring whatever is inside Professor Tinubu's head. |
100 bag thousand barrel of... Must be a new SI Unit of measuring whatever is inside that rotten skull of his. But ofcourse, Nigeria is made of up 200m people and sadly a majority do not care. They will vote this man in because as he said, he is the most "experienced" and it is "his turn". |
The fear of the LGBTQIAW£&@*!;:'" gang is the beginning of wisdom. |
In a way, what he is saying is right. Normally Igbos would have voted for PDP but with Peter Obi in the race, Atiku will have a harder time gaining SE votes. The SE has been a consistent voting block for PDP. |
Ofcourse, her apologies coupled with her husband's "competence" is all we need right now. The gall on our leaders really. |
Stupid people with misplaced priorities celebrating their shackles. Do you see any Indian, Aboriginal Australian, Caribbean or any reasonable citizen of the commonwealth going to this length. We deserve the leaders we have and we deserve the hardship that are in. |
You know what amazes me about these people. They still gotta wear a strap to give each other pleasure. And one of them has to act manly or be more manly, whilst the other feminine. But if you were to point out the obvious, they'd come for your head. Doesn't affect me in anyway, live and let live really. But just funny and that tells you all you need to know about these people. |
But you will see brainless cretins come on here and oppose everything you said. sotall: |

This idiot of a being called Donald Trump will be the death of America as we know it if care is not taken. In just 4 years, he has destroyed every single thing we knew and respected about America. He is clearly not going to stop unless he is indicted and convicted. It was bad enough that this fool was impeached twice, first for a quid pro quo (which for me was'nt really a strong impeachable offense but the fool was caught on tape asking Ukraine for evidence against his domestic rival). This evil man incited his brain dead followers to overthrow a democratic transfer of power process that led to the mayhem on Jan 6th, 2011. As if this all was not enough, upon leaving office, he took with him top secret documents. It is said that alot of intelligence assets had suddenly started to die from the time Trump left office till date and some of the documents he held contained the names of top secret assets. No need to look far, the Russian businessmen suddenly meeting their end by "suicide" might be a place to start. Only God knows who has seen all of these documents. The damage this man has done to America will take a very long time to fix. It is one thing to stand for and espouse conservative values, it is another thing to be Trump. |
I hope you know he is not nor does he consider Africans in that statement. He has been on record listing the countries he considers to be "the world", I have never read him mention one black African country. It has exclusively been Western Countries - North America, Western Europe and the more sophisticated Asian countries. Jayden001: |
Nigeria, the proverbial gift that keeps on giving. |
The like button on nairaland unfortunately only works once otherwise I would have given you a million likes. Bless up for speaking truth to power, don't waste your wisdom on faceless individuals hiding behind these random online monikers. Zionmdde: |
but I am almost certain that the South West will probably be the last due to their liberal approach to issues; I guess that's why they were regarded as cowards. I am from the SW and I no longer take this as an insult anymore. Na siddon look SW dey, if e affect dem, they will start to scream and shout, if e no affect dem na autopilot den dey. Such an attitude might give you a false sense of security in the moment but I can assure, eventually it will never turn out well. The reality is that every region in Nigeria is gradually gearing up for the inevitable - that the country will disrupt and split eventually. All of these oil contracts are just meant to delay only slightly the inevitable. Tompolo might be a strong man today, another strong man may well emerge tomorrow. Restructure the country na lie. But guess what, we are heading there eventually like it or not and it will definitely be a bloody affair. The regions that are prepared already are the ones that won't be caught sleeping and we know that SW are the least prepared of all the regions. Arelyn: |
Like I am not aware, but have you asked if this will suffice to enable stable power supply. Ofcourse most of the issues we experience are on the transmission and distribution end but we simply do not produce enough anyways. And a main reason for this is the pitiable gas infrastructure before now so forgive my pessimism, I will believe it when I see our power generation numbers up. Until then, I retort, Nigeria don finish! GeneralDae: |
I love how we are ramping up the building of this pipeline to Europe but we cannot ramp up gas pipelines to thermal power stations across Nigeria. Nigeria is finished!!! |
We have never been nor will we ever be one. You need to read your history more thoroughly. Abdu81: |
He should just hire a full-time magician as health minister. This is exactly what happens when you elect people who simply don't understand the very basics of economics or how a country's economy runs. Wasted 8 years gone, and if care is not taken another wasted 8 years incoming. This is the price we pay for our own collective negligence, ignorance and crass stupidity. You may think one way or the other it won't affect you personally, no worries everybody go drink from this bowl of garri. Naso we go dey go, wey time go dey go, wey black man go remain for darkness and captivity. |
My point being why would he want to disguise when he has a private jet and can fly out of the country without any need for scrutiny. I hate the man pass you, you can check my past comments on him but I do not encourage lying. I do not think that is Tinubu, my reason is simple, the man has not flown public in quite a while, a usually flies private, the picture looks like a public plane. PointZerom: |
He has a private jet, jets for crying out loud. Lets be real, I don't think that is him. PointZerom: |
Don't waste your time on faceless fools bro. They never like to hear the truth. Eriokanmi: |
The only thing that is guaranteed to change is the level of hardship, it will only get worse. Why? Just look at the precedence of the main contestants of this elections. Look at the structure of the country at every level. If you think people everywhere are suddenly going to change the course of their wickedness and chart a good path, well I can only wish you the very best. We have lived through 23 years of the latest democratic dispensation. I have come to the firm conclusion that democracy, in its present form, does not bode well for us as Nigerians. If we had an enlightened populace, if the media was free and independent, if all arms of government were truly independent of each other, if power truly rested with the people then democracy would work but unfortunately it cannot work. Also, Nigeria has never been nor will it ever be a "country". Every group with their own agenda, only the strongest and most determined will prevail and it is looking like the Hausa-Fulani at the moment. People who hurriedly defend this present government are quick to reject a simple prayer "May XYZ run your life like XYZ has run this country". That tells you all you need to know about the intention of some Nigerians towards Nigeria. Nothing works as intended. Prayers only will not save us out of our current predicament, prayers are never intended to work that way. |

No. Insatiable greed and unfettered wickedness of the average Nigerian, coupled with a lack of accountability and our culture of impunity are some of the many causes of corruption in Nigeria. We simply do not care about our country nor do we care for the next man. He only care for ourselves and maybe just maybe our immediate family. Our leaders are ambitious but for all the wrong reasons, they want power but for all the wrong reasons. These are some of the things that lead to and encourage corruption. I think people need to read "48 laws of power" and "The prince by Machiavelli" to understand the mindset and the strategy of this man called Tinubu. He is simply playing all of you like fiddles. This latest statement from him is only a means to endear you to him, to make it seem as if he is on the side of the people. From his antecedents in Lagos state over the last 23 years, we can firmly conclude, no he is not. |
