Even the looters are not safe....You loot 10 billion, and the value drops in 6 months to 5 billion.

You should only be able to run for president if you have 100,000 employees earning minimum N100000 for at least 5 years with a proven tax record.
These would enable the looters keep the money in the country and any aspiring politician, would have to hire more people and the records should be easily accessible for verification.
Governors/Senators/HOR should also do so but to a lesser degree.
By the time election comes around we have 1000 aspiring politicians who have been able to create millions of Jobs even before contesting......

The reward for those movements is cash disbursement in exchange for pipeline security, a well-crafted siphoning of money into the hands of a selected group of people who have not in any way created any worthwhile infrastructure in their region upon the amount granted to them so far but thankfully we don't hear of pipeline bombing or kidnapping of expatriate again.

Having said this, I wonder why people complain about Guni, his foot warlords and their actions without seeing what the end goals of their movement are. I am very sure, the social vices of these groups will be reduced if not stopped, the moment a full-blown amnesty is declared for them.

Insecurity from the South East is gradually rearing its ugly head and from all indications, there will need to be an amnesty to be declared at some point which most likely will start with a Presidential pardon for the movers and shakers of the movement.

Ofcourse most of the issues we experience are on the transmission and distribution end but we simply do not produce enough anyways. And a main reason for this is the pitiable gas infrastructure before now so forgive my pessimism, I will believe it when I see our power generation numbers up.

Also, Nigeria has never been nor will it ever be a "country". Every group with their own agenda, only the strongest and most determined will prevail and it is looking like the Hausa-Fulani at the moment.

People who hurriedly defend this present government are quick to reject a simple prayer "May XYZ run your life like XYZ has run this country". That tells you all you need to know about the intention of some Nigerians towards Nigeria. Nothing works as intended. Prayers only will not save us out of our current predicament, prayers are never intended to work that way.
