You ask both sisters this question: "If I were to ask your sister what roads leads to the village, what would she say?" The liar would lie (duh!) and say that her sister would tell you to take the road leading nowhere The truth teller would just tell you outright that her sister would tell you to take the road leading nowhere. Now that you know this, all you have to do is take the other road- the one that leads somewhere. Voila! |
obadiah777: now he can buy one of his own casketsI personally know this man and I feel very offended by your comment. Being on the internet does not give you the license to be insensitive. This could have happened to anyone. |
Yes, I have. Happened to me when I was just fresh out of high school and damn, did it affect my self-esteem. You start to lose faith in yourself and even wrongly question your own existence. The inferiority complex sets in, then you begin feeling less than you are really worth. Questions like "what's wrong with me?", "what does he find attractive in her that I cannot offer?", "am I seriously THAT bad looking?", swim in your head, and it doesn't take long before you start to feel like utter c.r.a.p. Inferiority complex can drive you borderline delusional and it's definitely not a good thing to be struggling with. Honey, if you have a love that is unrequited for someone, it's not worth it reaching for what you know you cannot touch how much more have. Save it for one who would truly appreciate it and please, do not be in a rush to find that one. Things would progress naturally and he will find you in due time. In the mean time, focus your energy on something that is not emotion based. Go out and chill with friends. Get closer to your family. Things would work out eventually. |
May the souls of the Faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. |
dominique: Interesting piece, front page material. You are so right Dominique. I was just gonna reply the same thing. Cancer is actually caused by some of the cells in our body not going through the right sequence of events (the cell cycle) as cells should do normally- which includes them slowing down and dying. When these cells don't die, it is only then that the possibility of cancer arises. Madam Colon cleanse, educate yourself before trying to educate others. Cheers. |
Seun is gradually ruining his site with his own hands. So sorry for you. |
My mother and brother (Yes, they are my possessions). With them comes the joy/fulfillment no material possession could supply/provide. Love them the whole world and back. |
Okay.. for all of you wondering, this is a huge mess!Do not bother with it. End of story. |
folahann: I know the 19,800 is super small but you can't just do direct comparison not putting in consideration cost of living in both country.I know the cost of living here is way higher than in Nigeria still that amount is too meager to be earned by a graduate (whether in the workforce or serving). A student working 20 hours a week would bag about $800 dollars (minimum wage, does not go below this) a month. I believe that no matter the disparity in the cost of living, $800 would do way more than N19000. The Nigerian government should have some heart and increase the wage abeg. |
Nigerian Corpers are really suffering. |
LOL @ His accent!! #ProudlyNigerian ![]() |
Ejiné: For goodness sake, it is MAVIN, moorons!!! MAVIN!Hey Ejine, Corrections can be made without slinging insults at people. Just saying. ![]() Peace. |
maclatunji: It is up to you to decide. OP believes it applies to Muslim women, it is up to you to decide if it applies to other women as well. What kind of an answer is this? Is it not obvious that it applies to other women as well? What is there to decide on again? |
Sapphire86: Dis has got 2 b d most ridiculous post I ve read. Aside 4m no5 -becoming a beta muslim; all odas apply 2 any woman!!!!Exactly what I was going to say. Ridiculous indeed! |
Holy!! Jonathan's son is morbidly overweight! Look at that belly! |
I cant remember all the names of nairalanders living in NYC but I hope Ogugua and Inked Nerd are okay. Hopefully, this doesn't get to where I live. Wishing all who live there God's protection and safety. |
You sweet like Mirinda? Seriously? Is this really all Nigerian artistes have to offer these days? This is just shameful. This guy should go and find his calling abeg. Apparently, a good voice is not all that is needed to make good music. Intellect sure plays a major role. ![]() |
sweetcocoa: Everything una must hate,. Please darling moi, help me tell them. ![]() |
naturalwaves: Girls with more than one type of earrings which means they av their ears pieced in two or more places.Gurls that exhibit those multiple piercings are most times usually promiscuous and those that are not,av very rough pasts.#Another sign to watch out for guys before U deep ur hands in fire#.Very rare and strange to find a good girl with such type of piercings.. You are a cretin. What an ignorant generalization you have up there. Extra facial jewelry does not reflect/determine the morality of a person. Sometimes beating up Goliath seems waaaaay easier than understanding the thought-process of you Holier-than-thou people. Rubbish. |
^ Your view is very Non-Nigerian (western). @OP, Definitely early marriage (girl should be between 22-25, the guy should be between 27-32). All things being equal, it gives the couple ample time to be with/enjoy their children. You don't wanna be old and senile when you give birth to your first child. etc. |
Creative quite alright, but very impractical. Cant imagine anyone walking around in that. |
lol. Woman, you are on a long thing. |
This is the height of insensitivity now!!! Seun, na you go use your two hands wreck this your website! Oloshi. Mtcheew! |
Your babies are lovely. So adorable!!! |
Danka7777: These white people and their funny studies self. My grandfather has been walking daily since he was 5 and still was diagnosed with diabetes. He is known to have crisscross the entire village in the name of walking. Was dubbed in igbo "Onye eeje" meaning "Walker walker" in English!Diet plays a major role in the equation of things. Also, he probably led a physically active life in his younger days, and has become more sedentary now. Susceptibility through heredity could also contribute. My mum, like your grandad, would walk miles upon miles yet she was still diagnosed with the ailment. |
That's just a bad picture of Goldie. The angle is not right and the picture quality does not help matters. Apparently, this is a snapshot off a TV screen. Come on guys, give the girl some credit. We all have our own flaws, don't we? |
