DBR. . . i do not think the skit was only directed at 9.Ill Bliss and OD i think took shots at Rugged too,so i think it's actually a multi-shots at all of them.Ill Bliss and OD especially have both toned down with their Hip Hop head mantra.Hip Hop doesn't get more vitiated than Aye po gan and Alujo?

Pally,i think you are getting Chamo wrong or maybe he worded his analysis as per Ozil wrongly.Of course Ozil is quality and is a top player but will he fit into United's effective and direct system?The way United set out to play,Ozil's laziness a la Berbatov will stick out like a "boil" on a nose.He's not a player that works his socks off,plus he lacks grit which are qualities you need to make an effective team like United tick.

Like i said the last time,the solution to your midfield problem is Modric,or any similar player in the prem.

This album scores 8 points for production and musical direction alone. Lyricism is a small factor. What matters is that his lyrics were relevant and still witty at the same time. Content wise, this is just as good as anything he's proferred before if we're talking of content as in staying on topic. He addressed the full collage of issues from personal struggle, love life, corruption, Niger DElta, Jos Riots, Money issues, dealing with fame, introspection, spiritual issues etc. Conceptually, there is nothing missing from the album except perhaps a Hit em up lyrical spazz out. There's less of the poppy production of Illegal music. This is straight up grown mans music.

Word. . . . need i say more?The African flavour is just insane.

And who the eff is that Praise dude on the epic track?Sounds so Legend erm John.

Mixed feelings bawo?One thing i have discovered is that the "hip hop head fraternity" is a minority and are not the ones that will go all out to popularize your album.One of my projects took me to 4 different secondary schools and 6 different Universities in naija(apologies Dora) of late so believe me when i say you really need to dumb down to be in the mix and be widely accepted.And ain't these lots(the ones filled with youthful exuberance) supposed to be the targetted audience?

That said,even in his "dumb down state",MI covered a range of subjects that is quite wide with tracks like craze,my belle and wild wild west.So kudos.

The interlude and skits are extremely annoying to me though,especially the one before one naira where i can't see connection between the track and the grating drama.

Soundsultan and Rugged were also supposed to be on the wild wild west but something happened along the line which made MI to apologize to them on twitter,so maybe we should expect a remix of the track.

Let me know your opinion of Rugged's track too.

Truth be told. .we luvin this M.i2 cos it's M.i.
I like the direction tho. .but most of the lyrics are just sooooooooooooooooooo dumbed down.

But yea . .he got the groove which is wat majority of listeners dancers want.
So yea. .M.i is in the club!

Ma favs: Epic, No one curse(this is the track). .then Beef, and Number 1(ma igbo friend made me like it)

others: wild wild west, unstoppable( i luv the chorus, kinda emotional) , Craze(becos he got his Nicki minaj up on that one)

It was kinda an anti climax for me tho. .i was expectin a hybrid of Illegal music and Talk about it . .and then some, for M.i2

I applaud the album for one thing,and that is the musical direction.Either you a rap music lover or not,you can feel a connection with the album.Even my Mrs who is not into anything rap has been bumping beef and number 1 since yesterday.Such is the mass appeal and pull of the album.

BTW,i think Rugged made a mistake releasing his album at the same time with MI,he's getting no buzz as MI is taking all the shine.

Just finished listening to it and even though it will be rather harsh to make my conclusions based on just cursory listening,i can confidently say it's just an OK album.No "wowing" factor at all.And i am a Rugged fan.

Frankly I like Nik's confidence. . . .any player at 22 who is content with bench warming doesn't deserve to be at Arsenal FC.
He needs to do more talking on the pitch and show the ability to win us games consistently.

With games coming thick and fast, he'll get his chance this month, even if it's just the CC.

It is only in Arsenal that the likes of Sczeny and Bendtner CAN make this kind of noise.This club is synonymous with giving chance to young players(sometimes unwarrantedly) thus it ticks me off when i read this kind of report.When did Bendtner return from injury and who makes noise when you have RVP as one of the player jostling for position with you.
