I Miss Eduardo. smiley. If Eduardo comes back and he is not as good as he used to be again, i swear i will beat Martin Taylor up one day. wink

I Hope Arshavin signs Tomorrow.I wish Eduardo Partners RVP for the Champions League.I wish walcott comes back on Time. And i hope RVP and Walcott sign their contract Extensions. I Also Hope Adebayor gets motivated soon and starts banging in the goals.

Gunner for Life.
I miss him too and brov i doubt if Eduardo will make any difference right now with our clueless midfield.A midfield that has Song(workaholic but lacks creativity),Diaby(feels he's still in the french under-17 team) and Denilson(this has to be the most un-creative Brazillian after Rochembac) can not just do it in the EPL.How many times have you seen any of this 3 dudes take a shot directly at goal this season shocked?

Arshavin may not be the saviour as Arsene said, but this team needs a new player that can possibly bring new vibe and strength and that i feel Arshavin can bring.

It hurts to see even Wenger grow senescent as a result of his own blunder in the transfer market. The once upon a time cool as ice French man has gotten extremely animated this season,i can't but wonder why he does this to himself.

U must be very intelligent.
Compare Arsenal to Aston Villa. . . . . .How much has Martin O'Neill spent to make Villa the force they are today.
Agbonlahor, Laursen, Ashley Young were bought for how much??
Has Villa won anything as you are talkig about force as if they've won the EPL.At the end of the day, they might just end up still coming 5th or 6th.Talk about force when its May.

I like his stubborn spirit. . . . .I woulda done the same if ma club is at the brink of collapse. grin cheesy

Come off it already Sauron. Was anyone sent off in the first leg at SB?What about when Man u and Arsenal came visting?

The match at Anfield today just butress the fact that Chelsea of this season is not the chelsea of old.Whther Mourhio will do better is in the realm of conjecture but this very team can not and will not beat any member of the Big 4.

The team has no width and their 2 attackers are not the type that can create something out of nothing.Moreso,Chelsea,a team reckoned for solid defending is now quite porous and cant seem to defend set-pieces.

It's not all doom for Chelsea as they will do enough to stay in the top 4,but definately i have a better chance of being the next Pope than Chelsea winning the EPL
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by kaypumpin2(m): 9:07pm On Feb 01, 2009
Watching him on SKYSPORTS. . . . . .The 2nd goal was just mouth-watering.
A nice volley with his right foot. . . . .
Messi is a genius,i hope he wouldn't cup a season-long injury that will deprive us all of his "miracles"

One snag about La Liga is the there are no big games aside from El Classico.
Barcelona versus Racing Santander is like Man Utd versus West Brom.
Hardly any stiff resistance for Barca.
Whilst we have the big 4 and some other clubs like Villa,Spurs and Everton giving us some mouth watering encounters in the EPL,same can't be said of the other leagues, esp La Liga.I will rather watch Rwanda play Bostwana than watch Getafe vs Deportivo

I want Man Utd to meet Barca in the UCL. . . . . .I wanna see how United's impregnable defence would cope with Barca's 3-pronged attack.
It will be a dream come true for all neutrals. And i see Barca having a problem with this one.Barca's having an easy ride in Spain right now, serious questions have not been asked of 'em.I do not feel we have seen "the best club in europe this season" in the entity called Barca, they are just the best team in Spain so far, shagging other $1 "whores".And the physical nature of EPL is an added advantage for its competing clubs

We have just become England's feeder team. What on earth do we have Ramsey and Wiltshire in for?
This same Ramsey was chased all over by Man U,what do you think they wanted him for?Welberk, the Fabio twins et al are all integral part of the Man U course now and i doubt if the age difference between them and the Ramsey's of this world is much, that's if there is any. While it is reasonable to some extent to blame Wenger,we must agree that injuries have played an unfavourable role in Arsenal's dismal performances this term.

Creativity is lacking, no doubt - but that is injury induced. Clearly stated and no way you can have substitutes atthe level of those three players in reserve.

When did we concede a late goal in the last 10 games  huh Unless you are talking about another team.

I know things are tough, but that's no excuse to lose perspective. We have improved defensively over the past 10 games, although our attacking game has dropped.

I don't see anything amazing or surprising in AW's words - any good coach will put the blame for failure on HIMSELF, not on adding one player or not. We do not need a saviour - if anyone thinks we do, then the person needs to think a bit harder. If we think this 'saviour' is the key and then he doesn't do the business, then what? Who do you blame next?

He will not say his players aren't good enough, cos he can't buy a  new team to put out tomorrow. Harry has been saying his players aren't good enough, spent a bunch of cash and they still got whupped.

Man City bought De Jong, Bellamy and Bridge(over 40m pounds) - all of them played at the weekend against 10 men and what happened? They LOST.
Tottenham have bought Defoe, Chimbonda and Palacios (also over 40m pounds) and what happened? They LOST to Bolton.

It's time to look intelligently at what is happening in the league and don't just go on and on about signings as if they are the solution. Liverpool and MU have not signed anyone but remain at the forefront of the table.

Things haven't been too good this week, no doubt about it, but we should not get ahead of ourselves - there is still a lot of footie to be played this season.
I agree with you on that one.The last time i checked, even ordinary Diarra complained about been kept on the bench and left.Though the whole Arsenal set-up for this season is shitty, riling and gutting, and Arsene must bear 50% of the blame,we still have to understand we have been unfortunate with injuries.Somehow too, most of players with MOTM performances last season, have just refused to come to the party this season.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by kaypumpin2(m): 10:34pm On Jan 31, 2009
For once i have to agree with Sauron on this one.Times and events are excruciatingly dire right now at the Emirati, and you can not but question Wenger's policy and blue print, that's if there is any.It is not just rational to sell players off and not replace them.Yes,the loss of lads like Fab and Walcott will be felt, but what stops a team of Arsenal's magnitude having depth by purchasing quality and affordable players?undecided

Westham being a team in form is no excuse. On days like these,Arsenal should be making 'em count, and it's worrying the abysmal insipidity that has become our lot now.

One more thing,Arsene's calm mien is fast disappearing. Why can't he just save himself the blushes and buy players that will help his course.

Still hopelessly devoted though cool tongue

What did Arsene say this season that he hasn't done? What player(s) has he promised to sign but not gotten? He has consistently said 'there is no news' and that 'we will sign if we reach an agreement, but we will keep to our principles in transfers'. What is 'talking a lot' about what he can not do in that? huh

Who touted and romanced Alonso? Did you ever hear that from Arsene or Arsenal.com?? huh

Must you always open your gap-toothed cavity and spill meaningless bollocks even when you know it is senseless bullshit? undecided
I find it difficult to understand your penchant for making idiotic statements with no basis in reality all in the name of making a point.

You would be better suited to writing for Ikebe Super rumour mongers instead of trying your hands at footie analysis.

One would think Arsene has never signed players - we got Nasri from Marseille, Ramsey when MU and others wanted him amongst other clubs in the last transfer window, even if missing some targets. Transfers are not the only way we can achieve success. cool

Sauron,

I think your villanous character and nomenclatures since you joined NL aptly describes your personae. And it explains why you support rifely "under-rated" entities most times. How can you ever mutter than Kels killed that track and not M.I?Well it is your opinion, and err'1 is entitled to one.

Khanye,
What part of "skillery" is cocoyam head,Maintain is richer!, head warmer in the blazing sun ?I mean in that death blow-track,where were the punch-lines,metaphors et al that Mode is known for?Are these lines he spat akin to killing a "wack emcee" with puncher and sicker lines"?or does it in any way make him address the true-hip-hop,crux-of-the matter-at-hand better than Rugged?

And yeah Ruggedy baba album  won him the rap album of the year in the same HHW award that Mode won lyricist of the year.

A continious beef tantrum will surely make one of them win the battle, and the other, win the war.Enough said!

Khanye son,i swear down I would have disregarded this but your man Mode dignify the shiznit with a line in his track talking about Maintain is richer. Now let's agree Maintain his,at what point should his name creep in and why?
Inferences(IMO) from Mode 9's line of i have incriminating stuff on you and blah blah is that Rugged made his bucks from "a source" apart from music, why will he,i mean Mode, in the same breathe mention Maintain that his "money making source" ain't that pure tongue grin. And don't play giddy-goat on this saying no one can say for sure if Olu's "dubious"
I still maintain the beef ish is going from implausible to mundane, they should quit it and face their promising career.

Le Chac,

I will understand if you claim Mode 9 could be verbose when he's supposed to kill 'em with brevity.I will also comprehend hombre,if you claim is delivery aint on point, but to call some one who "spat" contradiction "wack"! shocked, then you can NEVER be convinced.Mode 9 is good, the only problem i have is the way his fans push issue to another level to annihilate Rugged's personae.Rugged's got delivery and make rapping "palatable with the way he switches style( i.e Jimmy Jatt's jump off off his definiton CD),and Mode 9 is a lyricist.

Forget the Ethiopia thingy for a mo and listen to some othe tracks not already "over praised" by his NL fans i.e contradiction,My skin is black,et al.
Music/Radio › Re: 'modenine Is A Bastard And Will Die A Pauper' ----ruggedman by kaypumpin2(m): 5:56pm On Jan 30, 2009
The beef is already played and both players should call it quit already.

It's obvious the 2 of them have way more than it meets the eyes, this is too PERSONAL.

Though most Mode 9 fans will be quick to adjudge his recent work as the best thing since LCD,most Hip Hop heads who are neutral and are not in either side of the divide on this issue will agree with me that PS doesn't have the depth of EPU(One amongst many). In his bid to diss and "finish Rugged's career",dude just lost sight of so many things altogether.A ggod example is his so called "diss song of all time".I mean what does dude want to achieve with "u claim u r rich but u still skinny".Does Gates',Yaradua,Pharrel,Snoop stature indicate inability to feed or something.OR what cheap score was he trying to get with "Maintain is richer than you".For Heaven's sake, what has Maintain got to do with the whole ish,why not I am richer than you if at all you want to dignify Rugged's "am richer than you mantra",or you totally disregard that yarn.

More so ,if Mode was also exercise his "magical wand" of killing all wack rappers,he should start by advising those niggas close to him to improve their skill too.TDR man's 2 singles off his forthcoming album(If i catch you and the other one he did with Sound Sultan) are as watery as azospermia's patient's produce. If he spares his friends with their "wack songs" and go after Rugged, then definately i am missing something.

Whatever happened to "90% of your fans are on high heel"/90% of your fans doesnt exist" kinda beef.

Same thing happened to Rugged with Ruggedy baba whilst fighting some invisible foes.Ok accepted you have cleansed the augean stable, then dude forge ahead and give us some good tracks like what we had in the first album, rather than bask in the euphoria of "opomulero" forever. What has a pair of timberland and dyed clothe gotta do with making good music?

I am not even for the 2 of them forming an alliance, but they can do their thing without crossing each other's path.

Salt and sugar both have sweetening effect;in their own special ways and neither can be substituted for each other.

They should just make good music and stop these puerile antics.

Hleb is an exceptional player that will fit easily into any team seemlessly.
Sometimes i wonder why it MUST be EITHER Hleb OR Nasri and not Hleb and Nasri in the team.Arsene just makes somethings seem utopian. It's called depth if we have the 2 players in the team and one could have easily fits into Fab's shoe now in the middle of the pack, rather than us looking for an owl faced Russian whose signing seems to be taking forever undecided

One of the greatest mistake Wenger made since his arrival in Arsenal is to let Flamini and Hleb(esp Flamini) go without a replacement for them. That been said,i still think the situation is not as DIRE viz a viz events of time past i.e our loses at home and against "small" teams that we NORMALLY see off. Some months away this same team cant even string 3 points together in 3 games but now we have gone 9 games unbeaten.

Things can only get better as the season pans BUT we should not get too HOPEFUL or else,y'all gonna bust a vein.
