Nice and insightful analysis y'all.

While it is pardonable that most poster's here analyzed this issue from the point of Hip-hop as most are rap inclined,i will not want us to forget other genre of music like Rock,R n B,Fuji,Apala,Makoosa et al.

In all there is a need to strike a balance between the two.Whilst the posters on the part of the divide that goes for lyrics will be quick to attest to lyrical wizardry and ingenuity as a catch,i doubt if it is the only catch.OK my drift is,what is a good lyrical outflow without a good rhythm to back it up.What's  a Nas,Canibus,Root,Bob Marley et al without a catchy, complementing and indellible beat to follow suit?

I mean Canibus inability to break into the mainstream is an attestation to the power of a good rhythmical blend and back-up to an inciting, exciting and in-depth lyrics

On the other hand too we should ask ourselves, what's the essence of a good rhythm and beat without indelible lyrics.I make bold to say (but for lovers of Jazz and of course proponents and supporters of D'banj's thesis in Mr Entertainer) it is NOTHING,BALDERDASH.Whilst it may get us shaking our body and jumping on the dance -floor for a while,it ends there.

Suffice to say these 2 elements walk hand in hand and none can be relegated to the back-ground.

I dunno about Chelsea and Liverpool but Man Utd owned Arsenal in 2003/4 and 2004/5

2003/4
Man Utd 0-0 Arsenal(OT)
Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd(Highbury)
Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal(FA Cup @ Villa Park)

2004/5
Man Utd 2-0 Arsenal(OT)
Man Utd 1-0 Arsenal(Carling Cup @ OT)
Arsenal 2-4 Man Utd(Highbury)
Arsenal 5-4 Arsenal(FA cup final after penalty shoot-out)

As you can see, Man Utd were on top of Arsenal throughout the period of their invincibility.[/quote]Try to modify that brov

With Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd in it PLUS the possibilty of getting eliminated by those smaller clubs. . .Your chance of winning is 6.6%

Put it this way. . . . . .U have to beat an English team on 2 legs to win the Champions League.
Be honest with yourself. . . . .Do u really think Arsenal can manage that??
Besides, how are we even sure y'all can upset Roma(with the new improved Totti)??

Chelski should contract Arsene on a temporary basis to sell their players for a high price. cheesy

Back to gooners news - Arshavin is NOT eligible to play against Cardiff so the earliest he can make his debut is against Sunderland on the 21st. cool

Eboue is suspended for one game, so he won't feature against Cardiff. That means we will see either Wilshire, Ramsey or Vela joining the midfield of Nasri, Denilson and Song.

Most important for me is seeing Eduardo play this week for Croatia. If he gets through that and maybe scores, he'll be well and truly ready for a first team berth. cool
Suffice to state that th reason for his ineligibility is because he was not an Arsenal player before the date of the first tie against the Bluebirds.

Arsenal drew 0-0 at Ninian Park on Sunday, January 25 while Arshavin completed his transfer from Zenit St. Petersburg to Arsenal on transfer-deadline day - Monday, February 2.

As per Edu,i pray he comes through without glitches as Manu is out with injury. We need all this player back as soon as possible especially Walcott and Fabas we lack width and creativity now

Yet another knee jerk reaction from Abram, who i am beginning to feel just want instant success;the sort JM brought but couldn't maintain.
Y'all wonder why Man U is the best team in England and indeed the whole world?Consistency and stability.
Off course LFS is not the best coach best suited for the situ at hand, but the Chelsea was only going to regulate itself as the season pans.
Ok,another coach comes now with the upbeat and vibrancy that usually comes with the arrival of a new man, what happens again if and when the vibes wear off and another set of bad runs commence?
You sack the coach again?
Clueless owner ruining a promising club in my opinion!

I think Nasri is a good player but like all players they have their up and down days. for now i cant classify him as a match winner yet.
Is it the same Nasri that has been our only beacon of creativity and fluidity amidst a lethargic and insipid lots like Eboue and Denilson?
The Nasri that was just brought to EPL and adapated so fast and refused to be a flash in the pan unlike Deco inspite of sharing the same glory of scoring on his debut with him(Deco)?

It's high time we agreed that EPL has got such a fast pace and sometimes this new players seem lost(ask Baptista what he feels about EPL),but even at this,Nasri has been a consistent player viz a viz Arsenal woeful performances so far and his newness in a foreign league

This present team just lack the features that made the red and white army of old thick and tick;guile, creativity, fluidity and steel.Call it the definitive football swagger of the invicinble clique or the dudes on parade just last season.

What do you expect with players like Eboue(was having a good game but i was sure at one point he will exhibit his folly),Denilson(this dude has to be the worst Brazilian player after Rochembac),Song(all brawn but no brain),off-form Clichy(i can't seem to get picture of him gulping a bottle of Moet off my mind),and a clueless and dis-jointed defense.

If we've played against a team that can smell blood,it woulda been an embarassing result to say the least. We just seem totally un-team like.

Let's just hope the return of our injured players will bring back the much needed impetus culminating in the good ol'dayz!

Next call is Cardiff,i pray we take em to the cleaners @ the emirati. The cup competitions(especially this one) seems to be our only hope now.

Gooners para siempre.
