i don para pass normal in the last few days and nopw wen i sleep na to dey see arsenal's woeful performance.

Abeg na Ade and Walcott me i need for that saturday match but am not hopeful.Maybe my own way of prepping a mitigating effect.But my prayer is that we dnt concede too many goals as Man U forwards are ragin now and Carrick is back to split our noddle defence in2 pieces, am just emotional exhausted man.

On a lighter note though,it seems most teams have been watchin too much of Arsenal match in a bid to mock us,but it turns out they are learnin a lot from our defensive blunder.The defensive gaffes am seeing tonite in Inter and Chelsea match is sumfin i think can only be seen when the gunners r playin.
And Chelski is 3 goals down ,

@muki

the last time i felt this way was in 94 after we lost to italy in that gruelling match.I vowed after that neva to throw tantrums again but i broke that promise on wednesday.Now i feel Fab's mind aint even in Arsenal again as his performances have been far frm impressive.The young dude needed baba to bring in Alonso durin the summer and Wenger unduly refused.No big team with intention will let free his good player in jan which leaves me wondring what Super player do we bring in to perform this abracadabra we need badly now a la Harry Houdini's in white hart lane.

I will neva say its over until its over,bearin in mind our last season's brilliant start and woeful ending.This team needs deliverance rejuvenation and belief,and it will take more than Pastor T.B Joshua to do that

Imagine on saturday,no adebayor,no walcott,no Persie.I knw some egg heads will be quick to point out that we ad almost same scenario @ the bridge 2 seasons ago,but that team had lion hearted Flamini in it.This team is fickle and paper thin really.But then i am not writing em off,even if na pig wear arsenal jersey,am still a gooner

hi all,its been a while.A40 aw r u holdin up.I have decided to stay away frm any thing destroyable and perishable of late as av been more of a destroyer and it all started oct 29.Dnt crack ur head thinkin what significance the day has.It was actually the day we lost to Tottenham,off course that was a loss if u tott's pre oct 29 form was taken in2 consideration.I broke the glass cup i was using to sip some wine,broke my centre table ans was gettin near to my tv when i was pulled back, i tried stay stay off evrything sport reportin till sat evening,again we were stroked.Am @ a loss over what to do next as per my fav team,i dnt even knw who to blame as am petrified,horrified,embittered,gutted and emotionally distressed.

don't know if my anger is due to losin to prem minnows or the fact that am stuck with arsenal
don't know if its the jest and taunts frm fans of other teams
Or maybe the fear of the unknown

How did it get this bad.This same team that went to Lancashire(this is where i dread most for arsene's team) and got 6 points with great footie display,is now wobbling and fumbling.

The morale in that team is low and it worsens when one of our most prized jewel feels umcomfortable with his team mates and lads hes paired with.Fab hasnt been himself and his foray upfron has been lessened because he doesnt have the cover of Flamini again and the technicalities  of Hleb.Its weird when a boy of 22 is turned a man,but it worsens if hes turned a grand pa @ that agae.And that is what Fab as become to the likes of Song et al.Playin and caterin for them at the same time.

Will Arsenal win EPL?It is not impossible but its un-achievable with this present crop of players.Even new arrival wldnt change anything in Jan and the team's spirit is @ its all time low.

Will Arsenal qualify frm its group in UCL, somehow i feel the journey is not over yet with injuries to our tangible players (Manu and Walcott),and somehow i feel we are in for a shock on wed

Way forward?Surely Arsene doesnt knw no more and only divine intervention can help this team now.

Its gruesome been a gooner now,but even @ that my allegiance is stronger than that of Arsene with each turbulent game.

Aww. . .must've been hard for you oh,watching in the midst of 'aliens' Its harder when your team is losing. Cheer up tho. . .we've got West Ham wednesday night. We'll win that (hopefully)

now u see the diff in the usage of word?its ur unbridled choice of word sometimes that mae people have problem with u.Am not in support of the degrading words myself uses freely when tackling you but most times you leave people with no choice as u get overtly expressive. U need to check the hormonal surge as it depicts u as feisty and irritating.Know when to draw the line and u will be friends to many here(even if the friendship is for the most part of it on borrowed time).

@sauron and criz

U will agree with me that for most part of united games this season,they have been as wasteful as Arsenal most times.The game @ the bridge readily comes to mind.Games they should be roundin off easily @ the first 45 in which they seem to be churnin out good performance becomes uphill for them and they drop points @ ease.I think Fergie is makin a big mistake dropping the bully and energetic tevez on the bench.Maybe its Ok when u playin the Big 4 and other teams that doesnt choke the middle and defend massively,but against teams who are OK with knocking the ball in their part of the field before launchin it forward,Tevez /Rooney is the answer,not the cool Berba

@Dayo
By the Way,

Rooney is an idiot!!!!

Kissing United Badge in front of Everton fans when Everton was his youth club What arrogance.

He should check the behaviour of Tevez vs West Ham, Ronaldo vs Lisbon that shows class. Rooney is Crass

@A-40,

So only the top 4 make the EPL?

As long as the top 4 are doing well, the others are not in EPL they are in the Belgian league ?

So If Stuttgart is doing badly they cease to be a Bundesliga club?

Once again the Top 4 does not make a whole league You have to dominate totally like the other leagues have

done in the past to be considered as the best League. Maybe EPL might win the best top 4. but not best league

Portsmouth vs Braaga? What is the excuse?

@eastbay,nextlevel,A40 and other great boxin pundit on nairaland

Me think we shld leave Sauron and Dayo and let em continue to grapple @ 02 as i think they are only playing the devil's advocate here.No one in his right boxing senses will mention Ali and Tyson in same breathe.If you are worth ur onions in boxing analysis,u wldnt even dare put Tyson in the top 10 and mix the 2 Spinks.Its becomin rather hilarious now with people mentionin Beckham and Maradona really.

I will place even Davidson Andeh,Obisia Nwakpa and manliness Tiger as better boxer technically compared to Tyson.A boxer whos gat only brawn and no brain is just a berserk pugilist a la agbero in Oshodi and that is a no brainer.

I wonder if dudes have seen the fight between Carmen Castillo and Sugar Ray,Ken Norton and Ali,Foreman and Ali,Roberto Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard(in the rematch,Duran was so pummeled he was sayin in spanish "No more",Earnie Shaver and Ali,Mohammed Qawi and Holyfield,these are classics that can only be savored  whilst we pray another great era of boxers come up again.Not an ear biting joke of dollar induced match fixing by the grey hair Don King.It is all show biz now like WWE.How we miss the guile and technicalities invloved in the bouts the fantastic 4 were involved.

I pray we beat WestHam,and by a wide margin too without conceding a goal of course.And for those  lily livered liliput neighbors of ours,we will deal with them after the hammers have been hammered.Thats of course after they ve been held to a 1.1 draw by bolton tmr

@A-40 and Kaypumping,

In continuation of your best league argument sometime ago, Can you rationalise the performance of Tottenham and Portsmouth against modest European sides last night?

Udinese 2 Tottenham 0

Braga!!! 3 Portsmouth 0

FYI These 2 sides from England won the domestic trophies in the EPL.

So wouls it be right to acclaim the EPL the best league in Europe in the light of these woeful performances?
@DAYO

If you remember vividly,i did @ one point in our argument concede that bar the top 4 teams in England,the rest of the teams in the EPL need a lot of catching up to do.That been said,EPL for now still remain a very strong league in the whole of Europe without a shade of doubt as shown by the strong and consistent performance of its reps in the UCL in the last 3 yrs,a feat that didnt come easily but by incessant and consistent development and growth of the BIG 4 technically and financially.Definately the UCL is a bigger championship compared to other european club tourney and this is the benchmark for judging a league's era of dominance thus the EPL.

Moreso Dayo,these results u referred to are just a series in the set of matches to be played,what makes u feel these 2 teams wldnt be annihilated when they come to England?EPL's overbearing effect in european biggest tourney is rampantly and devastatingly palpable as attested to and justified by matches played in Fernabache and Old trafford just this lweek,it doesnt get any better than that DK.

Westham must be hammered and i am happy the injured players,Sagna,Gallas,Bendtner are gonna come back fresher.I think Manu shld be rested on Sunday for a Persie/Vela and Bendtner partnership.Also Denilson shld be rested so Djorou n Silvestre cld play and Song can come to the middle of the park,alongside Fab 4 and Diaby.Diaby gives the midfield mobility and a gritty edge.All in all we must be west ham as am sure either of L'ppol and Chelsea will drop point.

Dunno y i feel Tott may use Arsenal game to resuscitate their dwindling fortune kiss

Wow, How ironic that my first post here will be about Boxing.

Having carefully weighed the context and thrust of the argument, I would like to pitch my tent with A40, Easybay and most of all, Ibime. It is easy to know ardent students of boxing, their stance and the way they put forth their comments.

Now, the argument: Who is the greatest heavyweight of all time? Now, we were presented with only three options, which I felt was really unfair. Why? We had Marciano, Ali and Tyson. But, I was plesantly surprised that Joe Louis name was not amongst them. Obviously the question asked appeared to be: Who was the greatest heavyweight and not "the greatest boxer of all time" since it listed only heavyweight boxers.

If the question had been the latter, I wouldn't have hesitated in naming Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest boxer of all time and with cogent reasons as well.
But , that is an argument for another day.

In naming the best heavyweight of any era, whilst the quick fire response will be to engage in a bias mode session, the answer is routed in objectivity regardless of the relative era of the respective trio of heavyweight boxers (Ali, Marciano and Tyson). Although I stoutly believe Louis should have been in the list. And if we were to be harsh and not include him, then it can also be reasonably argued that Tyson does not belong in that list, and Foreman should have taken his place instead.

In my opinion, and most respected pundits will attest to this, my heart says Joe Louis but my head goes for Ali.

Why Ali was the greatest heavyweight of all time

Ali fought in an era that was incomparable to any era in terms of competition(undeniable)And i state it again that the only era close to this wasnt even in the heavy weight.Thomas Hearns,Roberto Duran,Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Leonard were the boxers who came close to that era regarding competition in boxing. When noting why someone is good and wants to work for a company, most employers will be impressed with not only their achivements but the high caliber of companies that the applicant has worked for.

Ali fought a stubborn Joe Frasier three times. All three bouts especially the last one were epic fights
(word). He forced Liston (the Tyson of his era to quit on his stool after 6 rounds). He beat a durable opponent in Norton twice. Knocked out a monster of a boxer in Foreman(The mode and strategy Ali used in the rumble in the jungle fight is one of the technique we will never see again.Ali was on the rope taking body jabs and punches from a boxer with one of the heaviest blow in that era.He withstood that and burnt his opponent out before he turned his ow style up.Technique was peach and flawless. Struggled with, but overcame a ressilient opponent in Earnie Shavers[/b](Earnie defeated virtually all comers via K.O prior to Ali fight(98% KO) and pummeled Ali for most part of the fight.Ali needed the last round as a 35 yr old man to show class and turn the fight around.What finnese and panache cld be more?) and Joe Bugner - opponents who can rightly win the heavyweight title in this era. He overcame adversity and came back on many occasions (against Frasier, Cooper, Spinks and Norton) to win.

.
Tyson simply didn't have a plan B when faced with adversity. (This dude is pugilist without style.Fights more like an agbero with out sense.Hes lucky to be in an era with the Lewis,Burbick,Tucker of this world.
