Heard they've started working on the mother of all death traps, commonly known as Enugu-PH expressway. This abomination of a road traverses the entire length of Abia state, leaving an ugly scare on the face of an otherwise beautiful state. Without exaggeration, some stretches of this road look like what one would expect to see in a war zone.It has been in a comatose state since I was in primary school, and if GEJ somehow manages to revive this road(mind you, it has defied many irresolute attempts to resuscitate it in the past), then there's really hope for Nigerian roads. |
*556#:Abeg, it's your father and his father before him that are greedy bastards!!! Dirty swine like you. |
Rubbish! He is the ultimate northern stooge, why won't they love him. He always knew his masters, right from when he was a military head of state. When the north says jump, Obj's response has always been 'how high?' |
They should focus their investigations on that kwara state....some disgruntled bast.ards trailed him from there to his place. We all know Yorobawas with their area boy mentality have been assassinating each other since the 1960s till date. |
C'mon now, the poor boy never even got to puberty yet. My poker grew exponentially once I hit puberty . . . a man would have known this. Did she even consult with the boys father about her concerns, before going crazy? |
alfaman2: At last I have learnt to play the game.Lol ![]() |
Onlytruth gets my vote. |
Ejiné: LOL. Thanks guys.Lol. . .Nwanne, I believe elections start tomorrow. (Nna, asi na Agu nwoke di ka gi bu zi nwanyi? . Nsogbu adighi!!) |
^^^^Ok PointB, I see you have it handled. |
Ok, some people are really beginning to irritate me. Why respond to trolls here? Can't you see that we are their life source, and if we refuse to nourish them by responding to their crap, they become worthless. I can't believe that some of you are fraternizing with unrepentant Igbo haters, whose intention to derail this process can be seen from a mile away. Respect yourselves. @PointB, who is Alfamann that you have to pander to his requests here? Have you bothered to look at his profile? Please do away with that nuisance. |
Okija_juju: That means you and Onlytruth have been bought over by Imo State people!!!With all these fresh attacks on Imo state, post disqualification, I assume it's safe to believe that Okija would be likely disqualified from next years election. SMH. . .what a tragic cycle. |
Never heard of this guy. I know Samklef produced lots of hits for Wizkid. |
^^^Hahaaa, Nwanne na u talk am o. |
Okija_juju: Then vote for me...Lmaooo!!! Okija u be my guy! (By the way, this is not a nomination, just regular hailing things ) |
Biafra rep: Igbo kwenu! I am really shocked that nobody nominated me! I, Biafra rep, who has always been pro Igbo to the core, on many occassions I defended Igbo course so passionatly and even single handedly took the ofenmanu ppl to the cleaners yet nobody deemed it fit to recognize me, so sad and discouraging but all the same I hereby nominate myself. Ndi okenye turu ilulu na onye ajuru aju anaghi aju onwe ya. Ndi Igbo nmanma nu! Ndeewo nu o!!What's your body count Have you slain more ofenmanu than Dede1? Well, here's a medal of valor. . .keep up the campaign!!! |
Lesson learnt; if it ain't broke don't fix it. Let's bring back Onlytruth to continue the excellent job he was doing. I don't want us to have elections here every two weeks . Thanks to Odumchi for giving it his best, it's not an easy task. I hereby nominate Onlytruth. |
I once had a stalker . It wasn't fun, had to adjust my movement to throw her off. |
Nice speech by TA, I almost got carried away till I remembered who was talking. Abia, we shall certainly regain our shine. . .good governance cannot elude us forever. It's unacceptable. (Hope they've started working on that Enugu-Ph road, that sucker just defaces the entire state). |
Capital punishment is in order for the culprits. Wicked devils. |
Well, we're pretty much in a two party system now with PDP, and the rest merging to form APC. But, people who don't feel comfortable in existing parties should feel free to form their own parties as long as they meet the requirements. I see ur concerns but I don't think it's enough to put that kind of restriction in place. What we need is transparency in the system, and I see nothing wrong with mergers and alliances in politics. Moreover, I don't think anyone should be forced into a political party just to run for elections. We should make provisions for independent candidates. |
Abeg make I hear word. There should be a section for village politics. |
Sirniyeh: .Bro, let's put a stop to the nonsense. You are vacillating a little too much in this ur argument. In one post GEJ is the problem and not necessarily PDP, and in the next, PDP is inherently evil. Pick one lie and stick to it. As we both know, no political party in Nigeria has an established dogma that all it's elected members adhere to. We can see this from the serving governors. Some PDP governors are performing more than others, same goes for ACN and other parties. The same caliber of rogues that exist in PDP are present in APC, ok. In this scenario, the average Nigerian with no direct financial investment in party politics is better off voting based on candidates than on affiliations to political parties. So, return with this argument when APC picks a candidate, then we can pick the least of all evils presented to us from all the parties. Heads up, if the likes of Tinubu or Buhari emerge from APC, then GEJ has all my support for a second term. |
The Oputa panel was not your traditional court setting, it was an investigating commission with the simple intent to uncover truth. No one was being charged for any crimes at the panel, but so much truth was unearthed that it is a shame the Nigerian government is yet to utilize these findings to bring anyone to justice. Diya's testimony only confirmed what people had been thinking; he wasn't a stand up guy. I can understand being unnerved when caught in a situation like he was, but why carry on with all the bogus commentary....I'm sure Abacha wasn't very impressed. - Stating that if he had gone to Abacha to tell him of Bamaiyi's plan, then Bamaiyi would have come back to kill him..lol. Dude u were 2nd in command, and u shamelessly sit there to tell us ur cowardice got the best of you. - Lying and denying that he never knelt down and cried before Abacha, who was gentlemanly enough to hand him napkins..lol. Alas, Diya did not abandon this lie even after the tape clearly showed otherwise. By the way, these desperate attempts to mention Diya in the same capacity as Ojukwu are just comical. One cannot mistake a chicken for a lion. |
GenBuhari: This puts to the bed the lie that there was no coup plot and that Abacha was just using it as an excuse to purge yoruba officers.Adisa(RIP) admitted, even after Abacha had passed that there was a coup plot. Diya was simply confabulating. |
Warri _Pikin: O'l boy, Diya was a real coward! How could you plot a coup against your friend and your Head of State?Did Abacha really spare his life? Didn't he lock them up somewhere? Methinks Abacha was getting around to their execution, before the CIA put him to sleep. |
Nna mehn, una wan scatter nice squad wey Keshi assemble. Keep the core of the team intact, but there's still room for improvement. Osaze(clearly a head case) and Anichebe would add more bite to attack, and Joel Obi would be a good addition to midfield. Everybody else should forget about it for now. |
Obj's privatization scam is definitely one of the worst things to happen to Nigeria, and this is a country that has had a crap load of poo happen to it. All it did was consolidate much of Nigeria's wealth in the hands of the usual suspects and their cronies. What better way to ensure that the country's wealth remains in the hands of a select few than to mortgage all it's assets to them under the guise of privatization. As the OP rightfully noted, look for the Dangote's and Otedola's to keep rising on the Forbes list, as the gap between the haves and the have nots widen in Nigeria. They screwed Nigeria again. Simple. |
Hmmm, dunno what I got from this post, but if I'm ever in Nigeria, and happen to be in Lagos, I'll look up Ify Freckles Obi. . .she sounds like the Kim Kardashian of MAULAG ![]() |
Tolexander: A tale of two men(writers). OneWhat is this drivel? Leave it to tribalistic yoruba monkeys like u to rubbish the good intended efforts of Prof. Soyinka, by adding an ethnic spin to it. Both professors u alluded to have been known to stick by the truth, regardless of whose ox is gored...especially, that American based one. No need to play dodgeball with whom u were referring to, we all know. If u are dense enough to make that statement, u might as well stand by it. |
^^^^That is what I've always said when people say ndi Ngwa are the bulk of criminals in Aba? I ask which ndi Ngwa, where are they? Umu ohi Aba are mostly from that Bende/Ohafia axis Hoo-Haa. |
