You may need to apply using another sponsor "Uncle or Aunty" . An important thing to note in the SOA is that they are not just interested in the closing balance but the cash flow in the 4 months.

Please what is the total tuition for your course?

I believe you can adjust your SOA properly and reapply. Many here have done so and returned successful.

Please do you mean one year tuition deposit because I presume you paid the initial tuition deposit before your school sent you the visa letter.

Now if you meant one year tuition deposit. I would say it depends on how loaded your pocket is at the moment. Many people in Nland like me paid only the small initial tuition deposit until Embassy instructed us to pay more. Some people were not even instructed to pay more and we all got our TRV.

So no hard or fast rule about it.

Normally all skools in canada are all aware of the delay from their embassies worldwide, so you dont get your visa ontime doesnt mean they deny u 4kusd na, haba , no be small money ooo... like mine was automatically shifted to Jan since i couldnt meet up with sept intake as a result of cdhc delays. Such is the life of terms and conditions. I guess you communicated your delay in time with your school. Trust me when you deal with these oyibo them, every clauses in your T&C must be carefully followed.

I have been through alot of punishment for not reading or taking T&C seriously. All those little prints you don't read but click ACCEPT.

Yes the letter from the school is very ok. It fills the gap in your academic years and your travel history. But if I may ask; do you have an option of resuming in september instead of april?

If you do, I would advice you defer the admission and apply after receiving the certificate. But if you don't have the option due to your student visa running out in Ukraine then there is no harm in giving the application a try.

4000 dols tan tan. Dats a lot of cash to just let go of.

Please this should act as a warning to all TRV awaities. If your visa is not ready before the semester resumption date, you are adviced to inform the school on time.

Most cases, you would be adviced to apply for deferment and possibly pay an equivalent application fee. Or your full tuition deposit will be refunded.

But if you don't inform the school on time, you stand to loose a sizely chunk of your tuition deposit.
Please no dulling, always read your terms and conditions abi na little prints.

dannydolly: Thanks for the response. I will let him know this and even refer him to nairaland. I believe if everybody here can do it on their own why not try it himself instead of paying such a huge sum of money to an agent without an assurance he will get the visa.

I did not use any agent just like many NL people here and I got my TRV. This money for agent is enough to buy flight ticket and pay for 3 months accommodation.

With this online visa application route, no agent is more effective than Nland. All they do is look at your document and tell you what you can find out for yourselve abi you think they will give you sponsorship account or tuition fee deposit?

You fit share the money make we add take buy winter boots and jacket oh.

I guess many people on NL just follow the old medical route of Asaju and CP. Q-life clinic stated Canada medics in september this year but they have been handling USA medics for a while now.

Funny enough they are about 5 mins drive from Asaju in VI.

Considering you already have the visa on your current passort; I would advise you read up the law on entering the country with visa on a cancelled passport. This information is normally found on the country's immigration website.

I have read about some countries not allowing entry for visa on cancelled passports. And surely your current passport will be cancelled if you try to renew before its expiration date.

Flight agents warn that ticket prices will soon increase cos of the Christmas season. Any flight first week in January is 100k more than the cost of travelling in December.

The instruct to pay thingy is funny sef, Am going for a Master's program and was asked to pay one year tuition and board. I paid only the Tuition then make them understand I will be living off campus. Can't pay a year for off campus accommodation that is not fully verifiable.

Gbam, they still nak me my 2yrs and 6 mounths TRV

Now talking about documents submitted, I wanted to give a friend my funds sponsorship letter as a specimen but realised that cdhc held back the sponsorship letter, tax clearance certificate, employment introduction letter and police clearance document.

Hmmm, please was these documents held back for all TRV guys in this forum?

sunshine_endles: UCI and IME would be generated automatically after payment of application fee, it comes in form of something that looks like receipt. And another informing you to go for biometrics. As for medics, you will just tell them you want to do upfront medics, a form will be given to you to fill and a copy of ur intl pasport data page would be needed. That's all. At the end you would be given a form stating that you have done medics. Meaning u need to scan and attach with ur docs

sunshine_endles: Yep Chrigo, I did upfront medics, even biometrics, because my sister adviced I do that considering the duration of period btwn now and the resumption date (winter 2014). That prompted me to gather all my docx b4 submitting my application online. including medics, police reports, I have also paid the schl fees. I scanned all my docx and uploaded them on cic.gc.ca website.

Amazing information. I never knew candidates are allowed to do medics upfront without CIC instruction. .hmmm

So how did you get the medical form and details such as UCI and IME numbers? Please shade more light on this info.
