It is a letter introducing you to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

I received mine through email 2 days after collecting my TRV. So you would get the email soon. All you need to do is print a good copy and take along with your passport when travelling.

Cheers bro

rilly2000: Please..., does anyone have the idea of how long it takes to get First bank telex copy....
Paid and submitted all my information form with my admission letter on monday..., but I've not heard anything from them.
It depends which monday you are taking about; if it's yesterday then you should get it today depending if trading was done for you same day.

Has the money been deducted from your account? This should give you an idea. It comes within 24 hrs after fund deduction.
Call the marketing officer that processed it,

iamteekaygal: I'm sorry this is coming late, with praise to Almighty Allah, Myself, hubby and son got our visiting visa on friday, before finding this thread, i believed canada visa is the hardest to get whether visiting or student. but with God and the support of the oga's on this thread it was an easy ride. my hubby had to go to the embassy a week after my pregnacy test which was negative and the visa was issued. thanks to oga siga, jadetpinket13, solomonwise for your support one way or the other during the 7weeks of patiently waiting for the outcome of our application and @chrigo your humour was my chill pill for the 5weeks before i was asked to go for pregnancy test. i pray for more good news for mediacal and trv hopefuls. stay blessed. smiley

uobot: i have actually graduated but with a low cgpa cry of 2.20 in physics, which wasn't my interest, you know as niaja uni dey do, them give me admission there and i had to take it by force cos i been don dey house 2yrs already by then in 2006. finished 2012. haven't gone for service yet duo. i cant even access my transcript now if i am to go for pgd cos of the strike. and the most important of all is that sincerely i want to totally change my field cos i cant stand another physics related lecture undecided and that is why i am applying to a field i have passion about which is criminology, that is my reason i want to go afresh as an undergraduate to study.

pls advice
At 26 years; you are still safe to switch career so your age is not really a big deal. The real deal is securing admission into a Canadian school and having the fund to finance a 4 years undergraduate programme!

So in the same 4 to 5 years; you obtain both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
As for the case of securing trv; your Statement of Purpose (To correct academic deficiency) plays a significant role.

From research, it is easier to get into british undergraduate programmes at second year level and finish in 2 years because UK run mostly 3 years degree programmes then you can move on to Canada or the USA for your masters.

Yes my instruction to pay one year tuition and board came with the medics but I paid just one year tuition without board because the university had no board available for me.

tebenezer: congrats once again.please do you inquire about your app or its wuz send to your email? i want to kno how u receive d good news?thanks
Thanks alot.
Well, I calculated that it's been 6 weeks I did my medicals and 4 weeks I submitted my tuition receipts as instructed by chdc. So I took a step of faith and visited cdhc. Filled the enquiry form giving details in the additional field on the dates I did medicals and submitted tuition evidence.

After almost 7 hours of waiting, I was called in and given my trv.

Well it's just God.

Pls help me with it,I need it asap..

For me it was easier to go from obalende.

Take the keke going to Adeola Odeku, stop at the Anifowoshe junction just before Mike Adenuga Towers.
Then walk to the embassy, about 3 - 4 mins walk. Very easy to locate.

Good luck

IJESA83: My people, I was given admission on the 2nd of june to resume in fall but due to processing time required I deferred the admission till winter 2014. And I went to submit my application in August paper route. So I did not include my fall admission letter in the application submitted. I am thinking i should go and submit the fall admission letter with the application so that the VIOs can know that I ve missed the first resumption date, maybe this will make them to make haste on the application.or how do u see it?please advice.
Fall is passed, So submitting it now has no positive effect as your visa application is for winter 2014.
Please keep the letter as an archive except you wan cause trouble for yourself. As it was not the CDHC that instructed you to differ. Or you want them to suspect you did not have enough finance to submit application in June. Then they will start scrutinising your financial documents more than required.

jaybmich: this bro said he combines that means he doesn't have 5 credit including maths and english in one sitting...
Aww Jaybmich; have mercy and read the guy's post properly. He said he only used the Govt from Neco but have 5 credit in WAEC.

So if not for our naija university requirement of government subject, he won't really use the NECO abi na me no decord the guy info well?

Seems I will assign ChriGo to start conducting English comprehension test in this our NLand grin

pofunwon: . Tnx frnd, I studied political sc and still intend to do d PGD in field or public admn. Any hope and suggestions frnds N.B its Govt I picked frm NECO but 5 credits in Weac>D7
My guy, if you made 5 credits in WAEC including english and mathematics, which are really the basic abeg hide that NECO.
You can still scale through for a PGD. As much as your basics (WAEC) maybe considered, the main thing is how your university transcript plays out.

Just search some nice colleges and see what their entry requirement is for pgd in your course of interest.

I know a lot of people who had 3rd Class in Naija but are doing exceptionally well in British, Canadain and Australian Universities.

Nothing can stop your progress in life except YOU

jaybmich: thanks bro, but I want to have idea of the fee I will be charged.. You said I have to be careful that's why I want to have an idea of the price and normal time it takes for it to be done. Thanks!
http://www.immigration.gov.ng/index.php?id=57
The link above will give you a fee baseline.

Considering that am not a passpot office staff; I can not specifically tell you how much. You know say everything no be 3D for naija but once you sharp, you go navigate the system well.
But it should not be more than 25k.
