I go CDHC today (AGAIN). E don reach stage wey e be like say I get seat for there. After a 5 hour wait, I got a call that my visa application had been finalized and taken to VFS. As I reach VFS na so I collect package dey fear.

Long story short, I don collect TRV.

Congrats but abeg no time to rest. Quickly arrange for your flight ticket as almost all airlines to Canada are fully booked for January except you wan deffer again after receiving trv.

I got the shocker last week when Turkish Airline said no space for January except I want February.
And don't even think of Delta airline cos na only Business class dey available at the rate of 1.5m

Yes you definitely need to send a sealed transcript to the university. I had a crazy experience where DHL mishandled my transcript and it arrived at the school un sealed. The university requested for another sealed transcript. But this ur private uni 80K for transcript!!! That is daylight robbery.

Please don't believe the trash of not getting a job after Masters, it is a bright shining lie. The only thing is that it is aways easier to get admission into colleges than Universities. But truth be told; whether College or University graduate; once you know your stuff, you will be a JOB MAGNET

My dear sorry for the delay but it is just a temp phase.
Corporate acc of 5m and a 2m personal acc could raise the insufficient flag when equated to the cost of your tuition and Board. If you subtract a years tuition and Board from 5m, will the amount remaining be enough to run the company?

Another way of going about this funds thingy, is to have your sponsor give you an introductory letter from his company starting his employment status and annual salary of an amount up to 3m above your 1year tuition and Board.. Then he should write a sponsorship letter stating the extent of his sponsorship. He should give you his Tax clearance certificate of 3 years if possible.

Please any winter 2014 student with a TRV; who have not booked his or her flight should do that with a great urgency this week because almost all airline to Canada from Nigeria are fully booked. So the few seats left are extremely expensive.

Well thats why I am not saying pay or not pay. The key here is to contact the school for accommodation. If they have a slot then pay the school for accommodation with hope of a refund when you get there. But if the school respond back like in my case, you have an edge.

Wow congrats part 1, now this is a good development.

I can't really tell you what to pay but will tell you how I did mine.

I contacted the school for bank wire details and applied for the school accommodation. They sent me the bank details but also sent me a mail that there was no space on campus at the moment but will contact me if a place becomes vacant because September intake have filled all rooms.

So I paid only the one year tuition with a little extra for health insurance and student union fees.

Sent my payment receipt, the bank telex, printed email about the accommodation and my writen letter explaining the extra money for health insurance and student union fees, explained the accommodation issue refering the VO to the school's email correspondence with me.

Long and short story, I got my visa.

Please my Nland family, what is happening here. I have been very busy lately and had high hope there will be lots of Medical calls and TRV news when I return to the land. But what I have been reading is bringing tears to my eyes.

What exactly is wrong? We are here to help but when you start seeing reports like this...its depressing.

Still on the issue of denial after medicals, if by the given date as deadline stated by the CDHC you haven't gotten the official receipt from the university can the telex copies showing the transfer be submitted to the embassy instead?

In as much as you may want to receive a physical copy of the receipt to submit to CDHC, I advice you get the school to email you a copy first. Which you can submit with the telex and a written note to CDHC.

Another thing to note: it takes about 2 to 3 working days for the payment to reflect in the school's bank account and they won't send you an acknowledgement receipt until it has reflected in their account even if you email them the telex.

So anyone paying tuition within CDHC timeframe should not wait until the last week to make payment (THIS IS DANGEROUS)

You need not be scared, alot of things come to play in a case of denial after medics.

I heard of someone who was denialed after medics and payment of full tuition fees. Strange right? But our investigation showed that he paid a little late and so submitted the proof of payment after the 21 days given by the embassy had elapsed.

Another issue could be that of presenting a letter for new start date.

So not meeting other conditions apart from medics could result in the small d.

Na enquiry I go make for embassy wey dey call me inside pack all my kaye and TRV give me, I no even contact VFS and them no contact me. All man mind him own business.
