I see a lot of okada rider mentality been spewed by different contributors on this post. IBB may not be in the good books of people due to the military incursions into politics and governance, but that does not remove the fact that he is one of the best and fine army officers who I can confidently say deserves to be a General and a indeed respectable one. This our present generation does not know how to remove ingredients and judge each according to the subject, rather, we lump things together and we are so emotional and sentimental in things that don't require such. The reason we align and vote based on ethnic religious and financial consideration rather than what is good and meet for the positions, and at the end of the day, we keep on whining about how sorry the state of things are in the country.

Paying salaries in cash shouldn't have arise in the first place but before we continue to criticize, we don't know the prevailing circumstances in the area for such still being practiced. I will further say that it is in human to congregate evrybody from a LGA for the purpose of paying their salaries. As much as paying in cash is obselete, why not take it to their individual places of work and give. The government in all strata still believed and carry on as if they are really doing the workers under their employment a FAVOUR. Worse is that the senior civil servants are much more into this. You'll see some Fed Ministires asking workers from a state to come to Abuja for some verification or some exercise, therby exposing these workers to various dangers . Whereas sending one or two or three officers will have suffice.

NCCF is a good platform for meeting with christians , develop one's christian life through interactions with other christians, feel loved and equally love. It is also a forum for developing enduring qualitative relationships. I served 13 years ago and I had a bad experience towards the end of the service year which I was made clear to the executives of the House then. I discovered that considerable regard was not given to members of the the not too popular christian denominations ( like the white garment churches). Infact , despite active participation of in all activities , physically spiritually and all wise, the memebers of the NCCF still regarded them as lesser christians, doubting their salvation, continually preaching to them to be born again when they were already! all of just because they are members of the White Garment Churches. At the end of service year, some of them were refused NCCF certificate for no disciplinary or any explicable reason . I hope in the present NCCF such discrimination is no more.
I believe we are all christians and we need to remain so .
