The connivance or better still the conspiracy of Northern Emirs in the past in  allowing  non Nigerians especially from Niger republic  Chad etc to infiltrate the country especially in the north in the intents of gaining some populations , more foot soldiers and for political reasons whereby a whole lot of these non Nigerians who has and will never see themselves as Nigerians may be the reasons why responsible for blood letting. . Some and if not a sizeable number of them could 've even got into sensitive areas in the country as representatives of the North  due to the endorsements of these Big    . This  I believe they ( the leaders and the immigrants) did using Islam as a guise which they were not really practising but used it as a weapon, lighter put, vehicle through which they remain their relevance /power. They are not currently  comfortable with what is happening,that's the reason why they are not making any considerable effort in bringing BH menace to an end because they are under siege consequent upon an age long actions of theirs the ,they cannot now themselves cannot control it.

Come to think of it, the population of christians of  Northern Nigeria origin are not a small amount, some staes in the Northwest have over 40% indegenious chritians  same in the North central and North east not to now talk of the middle belt. If Nigeria is to break up in like some folks here are agitating, those christians there are doomed, The truth Prophet Mohammed PBUH may be tolerant of Christians,  and Jews  but not his followers,especially in Northern Nigeria ( the fundamentalist) they are ready to annihilate any christian  if given the chance Their guys whenever they date a non muslim especially from the south is like to them they've won a trophy and theyey mainly do it with the intension to defile. However, like someone that likes to argue, if there's no basis for any argument again, he'll turn to arguing himself. This fundamentalists are now getting more and more desperate and anything including these  leaders and Emirs  who seems to be in their way will be done with including the peace in their kingdoms (Emirates ) and even their inherited autohrity   .So breaking Nigeria up is not even in the interest of these Northern leaders because now, The BH will overrun them and their reputable Dynasties will fall. so anybody thinking this is mainly BH is mainlly religious should rethink, it is a political movement not intended for Nigeria in the immediate but to overturn the age-long  Dynasties that has endured till date.

What they need do is to realize that  it is not the same game as it used to be and will need to embrace other Nigerians to help them remain. Also, they need to talk to their subjects , I mean SSUBJECTS and start reading the riot act to those who are non Nigerians within their Emirates with a view to expulsion .

Doctors and Lecturers insatiable lots thunder strike them as they begin their strike. Want to be a teacher / lecturer though. I could just remember the pain and disillusion we went through in the 90's in the hands of mindless and incessant strikes from all angles . God help our generation.

@ onlytruth ,I 'll say virtually everybody was awed at the effontry of the Biafran and no doubt respects it but one question is, do you guys respect other people too? The blaming game and unwarranted hatred must and should have ended long time ago. You must move on if nothing it is really instructive for you to just look at the small piece written above work on that , the future is too good , and bigger than the hatred you continue to brew against Yorubas, It has and will continue to lead you NOWHERE as a people.

I try as much as possible to refrain from commenting on issues that borders on  IGBOS  (maybe some especially on NL and even in reality ) hating my people so much that some of then have become so blind to seeing the obvious. During my service year I was a CLO with 2 Ibo chicks( both confidential secretaries) , an Akwa Ibom lawyer , a Delta Igbo guy economist and a Hausa doctor  in the  Corper's lodge. I remember that being the CLO and also a medical personnel, I was earning far more than everybody there coupled with the fact that I used my influence to organised some lesson classes which I made the parents to pay weekly and every teacher ( corps member) were paid according to the number of hours imputed also getting some extra official incentives for each and everyone of us with the local govt. The ladies were always scpetical and non trusting despite that they were not initially in the considerations as the parents only wanted science and commercial related lessons but I had to make a case so that these girls will be involved.( their allowance was a meagre 2000 from the local govt and me and the other doctor were on 48k while me was on a total of 55k outside others).

I could not believe that these girls were still non trusting and was making allegations behind me that I was collecting more money from the parents than I'm declaring to them !!!.  Until one day, I asked one of them to collect the weeekly dues from the parents when I travelled to the state capital on official assignment. Even when they knew the truth, one was still carrrying on with all sorts of allegations that after investigations were baseless . most of this I didn't know. Along the line one of them and the Delta Igbo guy told me hoha! that the reason main and only why Ebele totally hated my guts was just because I am Yoruba !! even  if I cut my head and give her, she'll not like anything I do for her.

What Am I saying ? No matter what, some people will continue to dislike and hate you for no reason or baseless reasons  even in the face of the truth. It is not peculiar to some sets of people though but it is really appalling for NL none entities (faceless and nameless) not known for any  good or progressive in  their immediate neighbourhood still perpetrating such debasing acts and disrespect for people that they think in their small minds  are their heroes do not disrespect but infact trusted and eulogised . It makes me wonder what sort of human being they are really.
I never in my entire small life ever heard read or see  Ikemba portrayed anybody he was with as a traitor because they were trained and know what it means to be a traitor. I'm even begining to think thst  non- Igbos tend to respect and regard some Igbo leaders based on issues and not sentimentality and gra-gra. More than the Igbos themselves cause I cannot fathom how you call somebody your leader elder ( not others declaring them for you)  and you don't respect their opinions and some actions even when you don't understand the wisdom of such !! People like that are definitely are going to be bad (don't wanna use worse) compared to their predecessor and will definitely self destruct. The more you blame the more you''l hate and the more you become blind to see and the more you loose the game.

I THINK IT'S RATHER HIGH TIME TO MOVE ON AND STOP THIS BLAME /  DISTRUST/ DISRESPECT/ DISREGARD GAME  for a better stronger cohesive , virile and INDEPENDENT NDIGBO .

@ op I absolutely share in your pain however I tought you are going to talk about something that is is really within the power of the hospital management ( attending to gunshot emergencies). There are a lot of rottenness in our hospital than tthe one you highlighted . Especially unprofessional conduct and ineptitude and mediocrity an too much emphasis on medical rather than health services. Most professionals in Nigeria are basically after the MONEY and not the services and value.

looks good on him, for those who don't know or understand, the president is actuall"President Commander in Chief of the Armed forces he has the Power to command the military and it is at his whims and caprices ( to make it clear). He may decide to wear the uniform of any of the forces at anytime he wishes although, this is only reserved for ceremonial issues.
The pilot wing, he can wear the uniform of any of the armed forces with all the accoutrements including pilot , engineer , paratrooper , armour , diver, etc He can even remove same from any personnel wearing it.

I read this and didn't see any tribal undertones to it. One of my belives is home is where you made it. If I'm fro Lagos with no future and there is hope for me in Anegbete , thats my home though I'm still from LAgos. There is no big deal in anybody working in another coutry military.  I heard cases of Nigerian Officeers who resigned are in british army as  soldiers . All because of better conditions of service. I posted  my cv into yahoo mail after my university education some years back got invitation to Join a super power airforce and three middle powers to join their military , the only condition that prevented me from joining that of the super power was proof of staying in that country for a period of time and this invitation is no secret . We should look into the deeper and more serious implications of these revelation if it's true and not the myopic ethnic thing. Lets not get unnecessarily hysterical  ethnically when none is even intended .WHat are the  security issues if they are to be reintegrated and how easy it was for such to happen right under our very nose.
