Sorry to say, but your husband is solely to blame. He is the one who allowed it to fester. I have elder sisters, 3 of them, and trust me, no single one of them can dare interfere in my affairs like this. None.

That said, I think you need to first get a job. Strive to get a well paying job, then sit your husband down and tell him you've had enough from his family members. If he refuses to demand that they respect you, then you have one choice only, leave the marriage. Serve him divorce papers and leave with your child. Let them have their son.

Forget about wanting a family and all, leave this one. God's plan for your happiness maybe totally different from what you have in mind.

brother you meant to say THE MAJOR REASON WHY PEOPLE ARE MOTIVATED TO SEND MONEY BACK HOME IS BECAUSE OF THE POOR NAIRA VALUE. It's not like they are ABLE to send that money home. For sending that money home many have to struggle and suffer and tighten their belt more. If one pound became 50 naira all those people would no longer be motivated to send money home and they would fully face their lives in the UK without worrying about home or sending money home.

brother despite the hardship and suffering in Nigeria are people in Nigeria not building houses ? Even vulcaniser in naija is building bungalow in his village. So the answer to your question is a few people will take extreme measures like for example you can find 10 naija guys sharing a 2 bedroom flat. Some sleep on floor, some sleep on sofa, some sleep in the kitchen etc just so they can have small rent so they can save to build house in Nigeria but these are guys who have dedicated to suffer in London because they know they are coming back home. But the question is ? How many people want to live like that in London ? You want to use toilet but there are like 4 housemates on the queue waiting to use it before you. These are the extreme measures you have to take in London to sAve good money or to build a house. But also let me say most of those houses belong to criminals too. Many of our people are into selling drugs and Bank fraud. So it's under these conditions you can thrive . Crime or sharing house with 10 guys lol

i am born and bred in France so pretty much traveled all over Europe (Spain Belgium, Italy, Holland, Poland Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia Sweden finland etc) ... but i have actually lived in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Czech republic, Switzerland, China, Japan, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia... and of course, as you live in these places, you travel to neighboring countries to visit.

...and again, in any of these countries, i can tell you a story (whether good or bad) about Nigerians
