I am not one to throw allegations or speak ill of people without trying to understand what made them who they are. From my write up, i insult no one but rather blame the society for raising both genders the wrong way.

Most Nigerian marriages do not last anymore, they are not standing the test of time. The modern marriage is nothing to write home about due to evolution i.e changes in our ways of lives. There is a shift but Men want to retain traditional benefits of being Men.

Women are taking just as much as financial responsibilities men take, you will hardly see a home where Men provides all in this Nigeria economy yet women are expected to continue with traditional homes. You all play this providing card so much that one is left to wonder if women don't also share responsibilities in the homes anymore. How may Men can successfully run a home singlehandedly?

Most Men lose interest in Marriage because they can't keep up, they have lost the bargaining power and are yet to understand or conform to the new dating norms. Thats where their issues lies, they don't know how to be in "control" because things have changed. They suffer reality shock because contrary to what they were raised with, they need more that having a manhood to thrive in the society.

The truth is Most men weren't raised with love in the Nigerian culture, that is why it is found wanting in typical Nigerian Man.

I like your submission. Things are really expensive now mehn. 1 Titus fish is over 1k and will be cut max into 4 pieces, sometimes 3 pieces sef. If he's to eat 3 meals daily, he'll be spending 30k monthly on fish alone, meat and chicken are even way expensive, you'll buy grains, beverages alone fit gulp 10k (Milo, coffee and milk), buy cereals, provisions (peanut butter, toothpaste, groundnut/cashew nut, cashewnut na 2k-2.5k and I fit finish 1 bottle within 3days, other provisions wey u go buy still dey). 6kg gas monthly is within 5-5.5k, a bag of pure water is 250-300 and can be finished within 2-3days. The truth is if we're to eat well, that 100k na just manage for a month, though you'll still have some food stuff spill over to the next month. I avoid beef now cos of the cost, too expensive. 3k beef no go pass 10 piece if dem cut am moderately, not big like party own oo . OP come dey stay Abuja join. Imagine op eating outside, he'd even spend more.

my hostel mate for school never had a girlfriend or womanise during his 5 years engineering course. We even dey suspect he was gay. He went to USA for masters, a year after graduating baba don marry black American. It's quite easy through nursing... As a foreign nurse, once you're employed in the states, you'll be given permanent residency(green card) once you get there..
And to be honest, nursing and other medical courses are the best bet...
I see you emphasize most on physical science and engineering courses, but these has limitations on their own side...

I'm not catching cruise...I have tried by cutting wasteful lifestyle...in fact I stopped womanising and drinking.

But the reality is I want my kids to go to the best schools and live in a decent environment.

In Abuja here, a decent 2 bedroom is 1.5-2 million. With my 500k per month, it will be very foolish to live in such apartments.

So, I have to do everything possible to double or triple my income to live in such environment.

The fact is that a 500k income in today’s Nigeria is very meagre.
