20k is enough for rice, beans, garri lasting 2months.

These may be highly reduced depending on her location.

as per your friend maintaining a car from the allowance, tell am say she never ready!! mechanic go chop him own inside too o. She should look for a trusted fellow n turn the car to a taxi kind of. the poshness or otherwise of the car will determin the target clients. she doesnt av to paint it in taxi colours so she can still go out with it without feeling too conscious.

one thing you must realise is that most parents of this generation strive to give their kids a better life than they had. How do you think the poor woman would feel if she takes her kids out n they start crying for ribena which she can't afford? I'm sure you'll tell her to give them the local icecream they sell #10 naira cos she wants to save abi? They only get to be kids once, indulge them sometimes.

@Op, let her buy better okrika (first grade) for the kids, wash well with dettol n iron. she can mix with brand new clothes once in a while.

pls don't crucify the doc just yet. A distant relative of mine was at the point of death too n was to have a CS She was told to deposit some money but she kept insisting she had no kobo. Until the doc told her one of the twins was dead, she truly realised she was in deep mess and she told her hubby to go home n check so-so place where she kept money. operation was carried out n the other twin was saved.

My friend's husband (a pastor) had to come to where she was dressing up to make sure she applied nothing on her face. He didn't even allow lip gloss or powder, you should have seen their wedding pix.
