Thanks all. I really do appreciate your concern and advise.
@dominique, he takes millet (oka baba). I don't think I cn exclude it from his diet completely cos that's the only thing he takes in addition to b reastmilk. He joins us when we eat too but he can't eat so much of our food.

Thanks 1ce again.

@phantomz, its the doctors that insist I include crayfish cos its best for baby n all that. Can a Naija pikin react to crayfish? I don't know o but I'll be surprised. As for me, I eat normal stuff like beans, eba n all that. No frog legs or lizards for me.

@feminineA and Okirewaju,
We've been to doctors n 1 said it might be due to teething though he aint gat no tooth yet. I just tire. I'll really love to know if he'll outgrow it. I hate giving medicines all the time to someone so little.

alutacontinua: You cld try the health section.
Boils? As in big boils or smaller ones. Cld be a fungal infection rather than bacterial, dt cld explain why the antibiotic isn't working!
Small ones, a little bigger than pimples. Not much, jst like 5 or so. Its the re-occurence that worries me.

I'll move it to d health section lik u advised. Tnx a lot.

ayabunmi: Hey, i understand your fear, kids can react anything from dusty environment to food they eat. Try to see which food he takes before the outbreak. We are advised to stay 3 days apart before introducing new food. Be sure he is not reacting to something.
I donno what he can possibly be reacting too. As for food, he's basically on pap mixed with milk n crayfish then he still b reastfeeds too.

baralatie: How old is ur baby!
He'll be 9 months in 2 weeks time.
FamilyParents In The House, Pls Help A JJC by kendraloops(op):
My baby has been having recurrent boils on his forehead/head for a while now. They appear & in like a week or so, they disappear only to show again in abt a month. Same with rashes/eczema (not too sure) too on his neck alone. He doesn't show any signs of discomfort but I'm just worried.

Took him to d doc 2ice now, antibiotics n baby tribotan were prescribed but no diff. He uses savlon disinfectant (heard dettol's too harsh for babies dats y I changed to this) & baby tetmosol to bath. Lotion & all is of d J&J range. I also use dat powder in a red can ' Agnesia' for him too.

Any experienced mamas pls advise accordingly.

FamilyRe: When Will She See Her Kids? by kendraloops(op): 2:46pm On Nov 30, 2013
All those saying she should file for divorce, how she go do am? Person wey she neva see for years?

The cracks were there but I guess she never thought he'd take it this far. I remember visiting her before this whole drama n she sat me down, started giving me advice abt choosing the right partner n all. I knew something was up then cos we've never spoken on that level before.

She has pleaded, threatened, gone with her people but still no show. Who knows, probably the man is out of the country with the kids?

Saw her last week, she could barely recognise me. She's lost any motivation to live. Na her people just dey urge am on. Heard she attempted suicide at some point. May God help us.

kind.way:
Ops : It is funny when people that commit an offence or did something bad want to determine the size of their punishment grin

A man/woman can make a choice but nobody can choose the consequences of their choices. Before a man could move out his house with his children, alot must have happened more than the 2 lines you wrote above. It must have take a toll on him. Before he died like that man on M25 , he walked away.
Yea I totally agree with you that a lot must have happened before he made that move. I just think the 'punishment' she's serving is too harsh on her. Haba! No warning or notice, the kids were just taken away like that. All she wants now is just a glimpse of her kids.
FamilyRe: When Will She See Her Kids? by kendraloops(op): 9:58pm On Nov 29, 2013
Trust me when I say she's tried every means possible. They keep telling her they haven't heard from him also, what's she to do? He's changed all his contacts n relocated someplace she doesn't even know. He just cut her off completely.

This days, she doesn't speak so coherently again, she just mumbles n stares blankly looking so lost. I can't begin to imagine what she's passing through.
FamilyRe: When Will She See Her Kids? by kendraloops(op): 9:38pm On Nov 29, 2013
All dis years she's been trying to contact them but no way. She n d hubby's people aren't in good terms so she can't go to them. The man just 'vanished'. The woman had her faults too but I think the man's move was too drastic.

She had her faults too esp divulging personal info abt her hubby to outsiders e.g he doesn't give me this, that, he isn't man enuf n stuff like dat sha. He heard abt it n was furious.
FamilyWhen Will She See Her Kids? by kendraloops(op): 9:21pm On Nov 29, 2013
There's this 'aunt' of mine that's almost becoming a nutcase cos of the anguish she's going through now.

She n her hubby had a quarrel a while back n he moved out of the house, he refused disclosing where he was. The woman was left with their 2 kids. While the kids were in the care of the house help (their mother had gone to the market), the man came home and took the kids. That was the last she saw of them.
Its almost 4 years now n no word from hubby or his people. I wish there was a way I could help her cos she suffering big time.

Any suggestions?

Glad I stumbled upon this. I'd really love to lose weight. I get really gingered sometimes and I actaually do some days of exercise but I notice I always come down with 1 illness or the other after a while (lazy bones!) which makes me stop any exercise routine totally.

I bounce back and start again, only to fall ill again. Its really frustrating cos I really need to lose weight. Carrying rolls of fat around aint easy. I weigh arnd 82kg. Any tips?

NB: I don't engage in vigorous exercises oo jst d normal sit ups, skipping and jogging.

My sister, all I can say is hmmmmmm!! Tough situation uve got here.

A friend was in ur shoes not long ago though she's older than you. The guy even encouraged n all but as soon as she gave birth, he disappeared totally. Changed his numbers and everything, he just went off the earth literarily.

In ur case, its better the guy's told u ow he feels already. I would never advice you to abort cos ur carrying a STAR in u right now.

If popc threatens u n all, he'll still cool down someday. Who can resist the allure of grandchildren. Just be prepared cos so many things will change in ur life. School will be delayed but u go still graduate someday with ur cute child in ur convocation pix.

Last word: please don't abort.
