In 4 or 5 years time, most people won't care about this anymore. It's heartless people like you that will want to keep using it against her. The important thing is that the pastor has been exposed, and many other girls who would have been his victims in the future and be damaged for life have been saved by this singular move. The pastor on the other hand may also genuinely repent and turn a new leaf following this exposure, and his soul will be saved from eternal damnation.

i don't support rape and neither do i know the coza guy or the dakolo and wife but i think the matter should be looked into properly and not just concluding with spoken words. too many rape cases against public figures these days and i doubt their authenticity. why did the men of God you mentioned keep quiet until now? there is more to this story that meets the eye. i wont condem anyone till we know the truth. if that coza guy should sue that woman to court, trust me... she would be in a big mess

Let me ask you, did you read Pastor Poju Oyemade's statement? Go and read it carefully and think. When you're done, tell me if it sounded like Pastor Poju and Pastor Biodun's spiritual father believe it was a false accusation. My question for you is this, why will Satan's son take over in a true Church of God? Usually, when leaders including pastors step down, the second in command takes over. How many governors have even spoken out in their personal capacities as governors? Umahi only spoke as the Chairman of South East Governors' Forum. South West governors issued a statement together after their security meeting, but none has come out to tell FG off. Why are you now saying Ortom is silent? Who else isn't?

Ese didn't say she was raped. She was also an adult when her issue with Pastor Biodun happened.
She was manipulated no doubt, but whose business is it really? Many guys manipulate girls to have sex with them, so it's not a new thing.
This case is different cos the pastor is being accused of rape, and it happened with a minor. It's a completely different ball game.
Also, Ese's case was the first time the pastor was being involved in a scandal. Many people chose to give him a benefit of doubt. I personally wasn't interested in that case, even though I felt it might have been true. Now that the pastor is being involved again (apart from many other cases we have been hearing of), people are like, "wetin sef? Na only you be rich and influential pastor?"

She said the Pastor raped her when she was 17 years old or there about..... So why was she still attending the church till adulthood and even married in the church... Most rape victims are scared to even come face to face with their attackers after the incident and even in many years to come.... The story looks somehow to me.

If she accused him of having an affair with her like the case of Ese Walter, I would believe her 100 percent.... But this looks somehow to me.

People protest over things important to them. Some of the protesters might either have been raped (by other persons) before, or they know people who have been raped before. Some might know ladies who the pastor has slept with (not necessarily raped), and they are just angry with him. Some others may simply be jealous.
My point is that this case is important to them

Why not lead a protest for those other vices, like the herdsmen crisis? Who are you waiting for, to do that?

The pastor said he has instituted a legal action. Let's wait for it to go through, since he has been defamed "despite being innocent". At the end of the legal action, either he or Busola will be convicted.

If the rape actually occur, Why not encourage the victim to file criminal charges against the pastor instead of going on tv to grant an interview.

This protest would have made more sense if was done at the residence of the accuser to pressurise her to seek justice in a law court.


This is just being emotional and not logical.

You people should stop talking about all these "going to court" or "filing charges". She can't do them cos she on her own doesn't have any evidence. There weren't any mobile phones then, neither was there internet availability. She just can't produce any evidence apart from her word of mouth. It still doesn't mean it didn't happen. How many rape victims can actually produce a tangible evidence even after one week, not to talk of 20 years? You guys should reason it na.
The pastor can go ahead and sue her and her husband for libel. If that happens, I am certain that some other people who had recent encounters with evidence can show up and join the suit in her favour.
