Duru009:Which stigma? Is Busola a single girl that is still hoping to get married? More than a third to half of Nigerian ladies have been raped before, so is being a rape victim unheard of? In 4 or 5 years time, most people won't care about this anymore. It's heartless people like you that will want to keep using it against her. The important thing is that the pastor has been exposed, and many other girls who would have been his victims in the future and be damaged for life have been saved by this singular move. The pastor on the other hand may also genuinely repent and turn a new leaf following this exposure, and his soul will be saved from eternal damnation. |
Karatum:Euro isn't used in the whole of Europe, cos some nations don't want to use it, much the same way Nigeria and Ghana can decide they don't want to adopt Eco. Euro is not limited to any region of Europe. ECOWAS is a regional body in Africa. It concerns only West Africa. European Union is not a regional European body. If the common currency of West African nations bears Afro, what will happen when North, Central, East and Southern African nations decide to have their common currencies. Which names would they call them? |
datigbogirl:Cos it doesn't cover for the entire continent of Africa. |
Kingosytex:Only that in the things of God, popularity doesn't count. Some of the most devoted servants of God are not known by people, while some of the very popular ones are not known by God. |
Xisnin:Wow! I didn't know. I only noticed that a number of people have used that line on Nairaland today. Lying to defend one's pastor? How low can Christians get. May God save His Church. |
doublecross:In case you haven't read Pastor Oyemade's submission, let me post the Nairaland link to you. Read it and tell me what you think. https://www.nairaland.com/5275368/pastor-poju-oyemade-reacts-biodun#79840229 |
Aiyk2333:Okay, cos I was confused with the quote. Sorry. |
doublecross:https://www.infoplanet.biz/2016/06/timi-dakolohow-i-met-my-wife-at-house.html?m=0 Let me ask you, did you read Pastor Poju Oyemade's statement? Go and read it carefully and think. When you're done, tell me if it sounded like Pastor Poju and Pastor Biodun's spiritual father believe it was a false accusation. These are men who know Pastor Biodun on a personal level, and have a real relationship with him. |
Aiyk2333:What's your point actually? What has my post got to do with what you typed? https://www.infoplanet.biz/2016/06/timi-dakolohow-i-met-my-wife-at-house.html?m=0 |
Back2Daura:Stop talking out of ignorance. She left the church. She didn't meet Timi there, neither did they get married in COZA. Timi was never a member of COZA. Get your facts right. |
WeSayNoToRuga:Igbo Language isn't the same as Edo Language. There is no need to add 'h' there, when it will still be silent. There are no silent letters in Igbo Language. |
asuustrike1:The manifestations of his work can be seen in people. |
asuustrike1:And they are second in command in those churches? Do you mind listing such churches? |
alBHAGDADI:You didn't make any single sense in what you wrote. I just decided to pick on that paragraph. My question for you is this, why will Satan's son take over in a true Church of God? Usually, when leaders including pastors step down, the second in command takes over. Are you saying that many true churches in Nigeria have Satan's sons as second in command? So if the pastors pass on to eternal glory, Satan's sons will naturally fill the gap? Stop writing rubbish brother. |
NanaF:Don't mind them. Busola left COZA for Winners. Timi has never been a COZA member. Timi met her in House on the Rock, and I think that's where they got married. Not very sure though. |
We in the South East don't need their Ruga. Let the northern states start it first. If it works out, I trust my Igbo brothers to invest massively in cow rearing in the South East using the Ruga template. Coscharis is doing well in rice farming today, and he has very little input from Anambra State Government. |
Tomide007:The point in bold was clear to me after reading Pastor Oyemade's submission. Biodun is guilty as charged, and they all know it. |
Yankiss:Hahahaha. You can trust the UK and ethics. I tire for them. |
WeSayNoToRuga:Lol at ubhuru . It's ụbụrụ. |
itsme01:Can you please share with me the specific statements made by Obiano (Anambra), Ikpeazu (Abia), Dickson (Bayelsa), Abiodun (Ogun), Fayemi (Ekiti) etc, telling FG and Ogbeh to fück off? How many governors have even spoken out in their personal capacities as governors? Umahi only spoke as the Chairman of South East Governors' Forum. South West governors issued a statement together after their security meeting, but none has come out to tell FG off. Why are you now saying Ortom is silent? Who else isn't? By the way, below is the stand of Benue House of Assembly on the matter. https://leadership.ng/2019/06/29/benue-assembly-backs-ortom-rejects-ruga-settlements/ |
itsme01:Taa, comot! So because FG said 12 states applied for it, you want me to believe that Benue and Taraba governors applied to have Ruga settlements built in their states, when they have been insisting on either ranching or nothing? I have no reason to trust this FG, not one! |
itsme01:Does FG not have land in every state? How are you sure they not building the Ruga on one of the FG lands in Benue State? |
b0rn2fuck:Considering ur moniker, hope you won't end up laidat ![]() |
princeade86:Ese didn't say she was raped. She was also an adult when her issue with Pastor Biodun happened. She was manipulated no doubt, but whose business is it really? Many guys manipulate girls to have sex with them, so it's not a new thing. This case is different cos the pastor is being accused of rape, and it happened with a minor. It's a completely different ball game. Also, Ese's case was the first time the pastor was being involved in a scandal. Many people chose to give him a benefit of doubt. I personally wasn't interested in that case, even though I felt it might have been true. Now that the pastor is being involved again (apart from many other cases we have been hearing of), people are like, "wetin sef? Na only you be rich and influential pastor?" |
SenorFax:So that's why she should lie on the altar dedicated to God through the Holy Spirit? Do you remember the story of Ananias and Saphira? |
For those asking why Busola came out now after 20 years, click on this link and see how she was pushed to come out and tell her own truth. https://www.informationng.com/2019/05/timi-dakolos-wife-use-to-sleep-with-pastors-and-spend-church-money-lady-alleges.html |
kponkedenge:She left the church, and never married there. Timi also didn't meet her there. I don't even think Timi has ever been a member of COZA. Get your 'facts' right. https://www.infoplanet.biz/2016/06/timi-dakolohow-i-met-my-wife-at-house.html?m=0 |
maybachmusic:Have you ever protested over anything in Nigeria? People protest over things important to them. Some of the protesters might either have been raped (by other persons) before, or they know people who have been raped before. Some might know ladies who the pastor has slept with (not necessarily raped), and they are just angry with him. Some others may simply be jealous. My point is that this case is important to them Why not lead a protest for those other vices, like the herdsmen crisis? Who are you waiting for, to do that? |
engrelvis:Was it by the testimony of one person? The pastor said he has instituted a legal action. Let's wait for it to go through, since he has been defamed "despite being innocent". At the end of the legal action, either he or Busola will be convicted. |
blowjohn:That's why I am still asking you to watch the whole video, if you can. She was asked this question and she actually gave a reasonable answer. I honestly can't start typing such details now. |
Ijaya123:You people should stop talking about all these "going to court" or "filing charges". She can't do them cos she on her own doesn't have any evidence. There weren't any mobile phones then, neither was there internet availability. She just can't produce any evidence apart from her word of mouth. It still doesn't mean it didn't happen. How many rape victims can actually produce a tangible evidence even after one week, not to talk of 20 years? You guys should reason it na. The pastor can go ahead and sue her and her husband for libel. If that happens, I am certain that some other people who had recent encounters with evidence can show up and join the suit in her favour. |
