EducationRe: The Letter From Senior Staff Of ABU, Zaria That Is Trending Online by Kennydoc(m): 6:49pm On Jul 28, 2019
Cutealexio:
Use of English does not determine the level of intelligence. If you visit some countries in Europe or Asia you will see a lot of brilliant and intelligent professionals in various fields that speaks and write terribly but that does not mean they're not up to task in their specializations. If you are well travelled you will get used to ignoring grammatical blunders (ignore mine) I don't know why Nigerians are so addicted to English Language.... It's only in Nigeria that they will doubt the competence of a doctor or an engineer because of his/her use of English. You can study these courses in other languages too... This shouldn't trend at all
I wish you made reference to professionals in English speaking countries.
Why should I judge a French, German or Russian professional by their ability to speak English?
Come on guy, English is the lingua franca of Nigeria. If despite being taught English for at least 12 years from primary 1 to SS3, one could still be as poor as that in their use of English, what is the proof that they actually have adequate professional knowledge?
If you can't make a reasonable communication in English, how can you teach others, and how can you lead or head an organisation or a unit? How can you write reasonable proposals or plans?
My dear, it's much more complex than you make it seem.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Pastor Tunde Bakare Reveals Where Buhari’s Successor Should Come From by Kennydoc(m): 5:22pm On Jul 28, 2019
kehinde1588:
Exactly. This is what I was telling someone that PDP can will 2023 election if APC fails Nigerians this time around. Thats why the igbos need to believe in PDP and Igbo presidency on PDP platform.
APC has already failed Nigerians. Buhari used power of incumbency and federal might to remain in power. By the time he has concluded the next 4 years, Nigerians will sweep him and his party out of office and burn the brooms.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Pastor Tunde Bakare Reveals Where Buhari’s Successor Should Come From by Kennydoc(m): 5:11pm On Jul 28, 2019
kehinde1588:
Yes its all about sowing and reaping. When one invests, he or she expects a return on the investment. Do you.expect APC to dash SE presidential ticket?
You people really need to learn how to play your politics well and not this feeling of entitlement. If you crave for it, you work.hard for it.

Can only the north win without any zone support?
Even in PDP, it was the alliance of SE,SS and the north that gave PDP that much votes. No region can win election on its own without the support of the other region.

In a nutshell, the SE should stick to their PDP and stop hoping that APC will give them ticket. Its a commonsense bro, no one needs to start explaining this to you
Atiku won 11 million votes. The last time I checked, the total number of voters in the SE and SS wasn't up to 11 million. It means that other regions equally voted for PDP not just SE and SS.

Nothing says that APC will win the next presidential election, you know. 2023 is still 4 years away. Let's watch and see as events unfold.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Pastor Tunde Bakare Reveals Where Buhari’s Successor Should Come From by Kennydoc(m): 4:29pm On Jul 28, 2019

.
Are you insinuating that an Igbo man can emerge Nigeria President when given ticket on the platform of PDP?

Every zone should reap from where it sow. At least PDP is a national party, that alone is an advantage for the east since they have invested a lot in the.party. They deserve the ticket 100%. But in APC, like some our easterner brothers say, it is ewedu party so let the ewedu people reap from.the party.
Did Yorubas sow in PDP in 1999?

If it's about sowing and reaping, then the North should keep producing president under APC cos they are the ones who have given the most votes. With 53% to APC by the SW in 2019, I don't see that as real sowing. It's more or less like sitting on the fence.

kehinde1588:
You guys are worst than northeners when it comes to religious bigotry. You should crave for good leader not a particular religion in leadership position
So why is Bakare saying that it should be a southerner, in the spirit of fairness? He cunningly refused to mention which part of the South it should be cos he knows he's supporting another Yoruba man for 2023, yet the same people have had presidency for 8 years and would have had VP for another 8 years by then.

Ignorant sentiments and conspiracy theories are what ignorant people like you peddle when they are empty and short of sensible facts and views.

What's ignorant is you ranting over other people's electoral decision, it is common sense that that the people of Ekiti prefered their once tested and competent governor who is actually as we speaking proving them right with his wonderful actions in office today.

There were tons of people on the ballot, but the people of Ekiti prefered their once tested and competent governor, PERIOD.

Keep blabbing.

The rest of the SW and federal might don't a factor when people walk into the polling booth and the FG or the SW did not put a gun to the people's head to vote for Fayemi or any other candidate.

Don't reduce and discount people's votes and choices, Fayemi was not an unknown choice, they've tested him before for 4 years so their choice was based on the fact he was a good leader and would love to try him again.
Come on, stop talking ignorantly!
What do you mean by saying federal might and the rest of South West being APC controlled doesn't count?
Did you see what happened during presidential election in PDP dominated areas in Lagos in February? Did you see what happened in Rivers State during the recent elections? Did you see what happened in Osun and Kano states during the rerun elections? Those are some of the things you get with federal might.

They tested Fayemi for 4 years yet rejected him when he initially contested for second tenure. Yes, they might have preferred him to Eleka, but that doesn't mean they liked him a lot. There simply weren't other reasonable options.

I forgot, Ekiti people didn't know that Eleka was not Fayose's choice and 3rd term proxy.

The question was, why did Ekiti people pick Fayemi if he was such a bad governor in his first term?

Answer the question and stop dancing around.
They wanted a governor that would be independent. Eleka didn't suit that criterion, cos he was Fayose's 3rd term proxy, like you said.

Fayemi had federal might backing him, especially at a time that APC had the rest of the South West states. It would have been a big struggle for PDP to defeat federal might and SW APC might in that election which was conducted as a standalone election (not one of the elections conducted during the general elections).

However, I tell you that if it was Fayose himself against Fayemi, he would have defeated Fayemi (though maybe with a small margin).

Meaningless and absolute trash, the kind of trash we get from assholes on NL everyday.

Governance is governing, creating jobs and opportunities and progress and development, not whatever silly grassroots you are blabbing about.

If Fayose was so good and Fayemi achieved nothing, why not just explain to us why the people of Ekiti removed the so good Fayose and replaced him with the bad Fayemi?

It's not by force to comment, keep quiet sometimes because you are not making any sense.
He wasn't removed and replaced with Fayemi. He finished his tenure and wanted to hand over to a stooge. Ekiti people would rather have a former governor who would be independent than a stooge.

Brainwashed nincompoop at that.
Justifying corrupt people simply for partisan reasons.
He however added daftness to his folly by asserting that Ebele Patience owes an estate the size of a local government. The daft apologist probably thinks 2 or 3 streets joined together or a land size equivalent to a Nigerian University or polytechnic constitutes a Local government.
You dey mind him? The largest estate in Nigeria and even West Africa is Gwarinpa Estate in Abuja, and it's not even as large as an average town in Nigeria not to talk of a local government area.

She was elected under PDP during the reigns of the Saraki dynasty. Now, they claim they want to wean themselves of any influence from the Saraki family, and the government is going ahead to appoint a member of the same family in charge of them.

Your question is just like asking, "who elected Bukola Saraki" in response to the o to gé movement in Kwara. The people might have elected them years back, but they don't want them anymore. Is it that difficult to appreciate?

Mind you, I am pro-Saraki. I don't have much against him especially since I am not from Kwara. If I was, my opinion about him might have been different though.

ok

Mr mumu here you have them
Most of those pictures were taken during hurricanes and Tsunamis. Those are natural disasters. The rain that fell in Abuja is the usual heavy rain experienced in July yearly in many parts of Nigeria. It's not a natural disaster, but a natural phenomenon in Nigeria.
Go round the airport and see that there isn't adequate drainage system round the terminal buildings, or some of them are already blocked.
On this basis, I say that your comparison isn't in order.

Does the message portray Buhari and his media team as jobless and nonchalant? Hell
yes...

After a closely contested 2019 election, with emotions in both camp ultimately high, after a huge investment.. a.wise presidential media team does everything to make their principal appear non divisive and inclusive
..
Wow! You're beginning to sound very objective.

This is what Buhari should have done, and he would have won the whole nation over to himself. If Buhari united the nation between 2015 and 2019, PDP wouldn't have had any basis to even remotely expect victory in the last elections. However, everything he and his aides have done and said since 2015 have been divisive, and people wonder why a section of the country cannot support him.

Niger State can give out as much land as twice the entire South East, and what they will have left over will still be as much as 3 times the average South East state.

I am Igbo and I know there are many Igbo beggars especially in the South East, but we should carefully read and understand Reno's post. He didn't say there are no Igbo beggars. He said he has never seen one. I think he's only trying to say that they are few and not ubiquitous as those of other major tribes especially northern tribes.

So he's saying that the EFCC spent 9 years pursuing an embarrassing triviality? He should simply have kept silent rather than making this puerile statement, cos it's an insult on EFCC.

You're a disgrace to all the enlightened youth of Nigeria. The best thing you should have done in this thread is to shut ur mouth.

People were rejected by the 8th Senate for failing to possess the minimum educational requirements for this appointment, yet this 9th Senate confirmed them immediately. Isn't this enough for you to ask questions?

Would you be happy to go for a hospital outpatient appointment, only to see that a healthcare assistant is the one running the clinic? Why don't we want to do the right thing in running the nation?

Truly it was an insult for a masters holder to be contesting against someone who barely had school cert and who happens to be known only for his street dancing skills and yet a whole lot of people(graduates) voted for him and some are even still fighting for him.
Same way it was an insult for a PhD holder to contest against a cattle rearer without ordinary WASC, yet supposedly educated people voted for the cattle rearer who turned out to be a massive failure.

How about OPC calling back South Westerners in the North, or is the South West not part of the areas they called back herdsmen from (South)?
