I live in the UK and Plumbers charge a minimum call out of £200 and then an hourly rate of slightly less. Another lucrative hustle here is barbing. As a guy if you can cut hair here you go make money. The least amount for hair cut is £10 some folks charge as high as £24. These are the two I can speak on.

No matter how expensive life in Naija is you cannot compare it to cost of living abroad. The only difference is that money is easier to come by abroad. I live in the UK. Before coming here I cut my hair N500 in Lagos. Sometimes N300. To cut hair in the UK is £10-£20 that is about N7k - N15k in naira. My rent is £575 that is over 400K for a 1bed in a shared apartment. If I earn what I earn in the UK in Nigeria, I would leave a more comfortable life. Na just say opportunities nor dey naija and the government useless well well.

Look a good CGPA is not a guarantee for a great life post graduation. The best graduating student in my class is jobless till today almost 6 years after The goal is to be successful in life not successful in school. If you have good grades but lack problem solving and critical thinking skills your grades won’t take you anywhere
