You will receive another email when it reaches Abuja VAC from ircc office in Abuja. Then it would be dispatched through their own courier service to DHL who will then bring it to you. Your passport should arrive on or before Friday.

But I got 3 emails the same day but at 10 mins intervals with the last stating is in transit to the IRCC office in Abuja OC.but to be frank I no understand the email. lol

I think Canada uses the CBN rate for conversion.

I guess it's triggered automatically when trying to process your request.
My opinion though

I think once DHL delivers it to VFS and they sign to receive it and process it for transmission to the embassy for processing, this mail now comes with a tracking number.

hahaha. No, it won't so long as you don't have a history of it. I had the same when I went for mine. going from ph to do medicals in Lagos same day, my heart was beating like St peters the basilica bell, bp went high to 160. but I had a nice chat with the doc to let him know it was tension and anxiety. I passed it 2days after I applied.

go to that website in the mail, click on contact us, you will see options to get to them, either by mail, call, or chat. I just chatted with them an hr ago, and a rep told me my passport has been sent to the embassy for processing. so kindly do the same to know whats up

Did you try to convince the VO why you have chosen to do the course in Canada at such huge price when it is cheaper when done in home country? I'm trying to hint on the VO's stance on not reasonable expense on the course/study.

Yes. DHL and VAC dnt work weekends and holidays. So expect it to be delivered tomorrow.

I used them and got mine in approx 37 days. They sent me the same message and got the notes like a week later.

I used them in August 24th and till date it haven't received it. They kept telling me same msg Katehasty uploaded. But my first gcms with them came exactly 30 days back in July. Now applying for another one and is now more than 50days no note yet.

Is so bad. I won't even advice anyone to use them at the moment.

I didn’t do it because I was heading to Vancouver straight n not stopping first at Toronto.

They registered us themselves and it was fast(maybe because there was no cue plus special treatment for infant ).

If Vancouver you can use lifelaps.com to register.
Who knows there might be cue next year.

Thanks alot. I might be going to Calgary to see family first or to Saskatchewan direct for school. But either way, seems na Toronto I go still land after checking all flights. Not sure though. So let me use Toronto own.

LANDING GIST

My flight was scheduled for 10:55 pm on Sunday.
We all went to the airport by 2:00pm because we had excess luggage and also to check in on time.
At 2, there wasn’t any crowd, we had 23kg into ten places (entitled to just 6 bags at 23kg) and paid 300k for extra luggage.

Things requested for at Nigerian airport:
1. Arrive can
2. Stamped visas
3. Enrollment letter
4. Covid 19 test

We finished all checks around 5:pm. Please no matter the time for your flight, try and get to the airport early because the crowd from five ehn!, I wouldn’t have meet up if I went late.

Tickets were printed out, yellow card given as well and passport scanned.

I said final goodbyes to my in-laws around eight and got checked in.

We used Lufthansa, we left 10:55pm and got to Frankfurt after 6 hours. We had layover of about six hours.

Things asked at Frankfurt by immigration.

1. Arrive can
2. Visas
3. Covid test result
4. Quarantine plan (14 days at Airbnb)

Our flight to Vancouver moved around 1:35pm on Monday (Germany time). It was the longest ten hours of my life. I never knew traveling with an active baby was this hard. They served their usual
Leaves but I no gree chop am because my turkey and meat Dey my bag Dey wait me(lol).

We got to Vancouver around 14:35(Vancouver time )on Monday . I filled arrival form on the system and moved to immigration.

At immigration in Vancouver, no cue or crowd at all.
Things asked by immigration:
1. Stamped visas of hubby , I and baby.
2. Hubby’s letter of authorization (the letter sent after your pp has been stamped ).

His work permit and baby’s visit visa was printed. No need for mine as i already had my study permit since July .
I waited for welcome to Canada and nothing ,yet again.

I and hubby got tested for covid at the airport and self test kit given for day eight test.

We moved to claim luggages(every bag complete ) there after entered taxi to our Airbnb for quarantine.

Yes. One to send to VAC, the other to use return to you.now the one that is sending from you to vac, search DHL tracking for google, input the 10digit tracking number in the space you will see there and load it, it will bring out the tracking details and where it is at the moment

You ought to have tracking number given to you by the DHL or UPS. have tracked it to vfs office and it ended there. Waiting for them to release it back to DHL so I track it back to myself

Sent on Thursday, got to Abuja Thursday evening. Vfs sent me mail this morning. And that was it.

No not really. When I sent webform to update my MBS, it was Abuja that acknowledged and told me my MBS have been received but my file was in Nairobi.

Hello Frankob, I understand how you feel, but be rest assured that they are working on your file behind the scene. A decision may come to you like magic and in a day everything will change. So stay strong and be positively hopeful.

Well, it all boils down to how you want it. Mine I personally wanted to use it for Canada study, so I directed it to the Canada office in Lagos. But if you want to make use of it for other places, you can put to whom it may concern. is all about your preference. so I addressed mine to the Address in the SOP.

for email, I sent to Nairobi and London. cos Nairobi was my primary while London was my secondary. I'm not in a position to get it. i dey tight corner here. members can help you with that.

Hello Titan, your question is right but then look at this this way. How much is the tuition of Greatomounmi. If you combine total of that plus living expenses, can that kind of small scale business fetch that kind of fund? VO are trained to ask how come this and that? And again VO don't care if is small scale or big scale, all the want is, if you said this business is the source of this POF before me, prove it to me. So applicants must have to prove it. That's why is is adviced that if source of POF is business, kindly submit CAC, TAX clearance (if applicable), waybill and invoices etc. So even if na bar she runs and don't give invoices to customer's who come to eat nd drink, but she buys drinks and should request for invoice/waybill from them. That can suffice too.

And yes the funds can cover for myself and 2 siblings.

Please as someone has said. Since the money in her personal account is from her business. She needs to provide evidence of the existence of the the business and how the money came about. So pls let her register it, get invoices, Waybill, tax and dues payment ( local government etc) picture of business ad all that.

My own view though. The gurus will guide you better

For POF (my mom is my main sponsor) she uses her personal account which has good turnover and sitting balance, is it advisable she registers her business to use for my POF or her personal account is okay ?

Now from what you said, your mum has a good balance in her personal account and also has a business that isn't registered yet?

First, The funds in her personal account, is from what source? Is the money from the business or she is employed? Cos you need to show poof of how the money comes. If she is an employee, she need to show empowerment letter, ID card, payslips etc likewise for business, you have to show some documents to back up the source of fund.

Again, will the money in personal account cover your entire expenses and still have enough for your sibling's back home ( I presume you have siblings). You have alot to tell us here.

Why I'm asking is, if the money in her personal account is much that it can take care of your expenses and still remain for your siblings, then no need for business account. Again, if the money in her personal account isn't coming from business but as being employed, then you don't need the business account for POF.

But you guys should try and register the business no matter what so that you can use that in your home ties that will be bringing you back to manage after your studies.

That's the little I can say from my lay man's perspective. But try to answer the questions I asked.
