Nice observation. I only noticed that many seems are eager to try it knowing fully well that that have applied before and will want to try it, after he/she said in 2months, decision can be made. From my own observation, the path was brought up to facilitate family reunification as they termed it so that applications decisions can be made faster. I only observed it was for visit visa, used for people who applied before September 7 mostly SOWP and others who initially applied and would like to join their spouses and family fast fast.

I also noticed that it is super fast for visit visa and any application be it SOWP which was submitted with visiting visa. But when you apply separately for SOWP and others, it may not be that fast. Also noted that, even if you have applied before, you cant link it as it will be a new application and old application fee will be forfeited.

Now back to old days IRCC promises. Sometime ago, IRCC came with a promise that if Nigerians can follow NSE route, application will be decided in 20 days. Now what's the fate of that? Again, sometimes early this year, they came up with another promise that if we can submit complete application before May 15, decision will be made by August 6th to be able to resume class for Sept fall. Now we all know the outcome.

So my brothers and sisters, if you have applied before and because of desperation and anxiousness to receive decision, you want to apply through this one. know it that once you do, your old application will likely be withdrawn and no certainty that you will receive fast decision with it. That A did it and got fast decision doest mean if B should do it, he will receive the same fast decision. Don't throw away the time you have waited so far cos of this.

If you haven't applied before, you can use it. You're safe.

Also note that this path have already had many applications and if fast at the moment, may begin to slag as they will likely be paying attention to only visit Visa applicants. I even noted that wen applying for visiting visa through that link, you will state when you want to visit and when you will come back. You think they don't know why the specified it for visiting visa only. They are looking for who will come and boast their economy and not gain from it as you know that visitors spends and don't get from the nation.

This is just my humble observation and may be totally wrong oo. So please just relax ok.

The person should send them mail and attached his or her international passport within 24 hrs after the auto-reply, he or she will receive a mail of an appointment date. I and other persons did it recently and it worked.

Now in doing this, can the person make suggestion of date and time he/she wants when sending the email. This IOM rarely answer calls why?

Hey! U don't need any link, just visit there in person without an appointment, tell the gateman or security that u are for Canada medic, people for UK are plenty there. U will be booked manually and be given an appointment with a week or 2 weeks maximum.

Ok, thanks a lot. The person isn't a resident in Lagos., so it will be hard to do so. Was asking about it as the person wanted to enter Lagos the same day (as IOM is within the proximity of the airport), do it the same day, and then return back to base the next morning. Guess we have to make do with Qlife then.

Sorry for your delay. don't relent ok. first, you need to order your GCMS note, so to get the real comment of the VO.

but then, from the generic refusal, is obvious you didn't prove enough home/economic ties to your country. so you need to in your next application, prove that you have enough ties to your home country. such ties like family ties, work ties. assets etc

As for purpose of studies, how well did you explain that your choice of study WILL lead to either career or academic progression even if you're switching from one field to another? Again, are you going for a higher course or course below what you already have?

So just order your note and then refire. it will surely end in praises.

I submitted the offer letter sent to me via email by my school. I didn’t even know that a letter of acceptance existed. Lol. I had to check my student account and reach out to my school to get the letter of acceptance, after I got the request letter. Thankfully, IRCC asked for it rather than an outright rejection. I know patience is key in this journey. I pray we all get PPR soon.

Hmmm. At this moment, nothing much I can say than for you to try and get your GCKey login details from him or her to have first hand info about your application. Without medicals, it will take 1in a million miracle to gt PPR. You should have done up-front medicals long time ago to help expedite your application.

I applied for study permit on September 20, 2021 through NSE route. I got a request letter on November 1 to submit my original letter of acceptance, I submitted it on November 3. I haven’t gotten feedback since then. My account just shows that the additional document provided has been uploaded. I’m getting agitated.
Please how long does it take to get approval after submitting additional document requested? And how do I know when the visa office has started revising the document? I’m to resume March 2022, really getting worried, but I trust God

First, I don't think NSE route is functional as they have long stopped sending NSE request.

As for the request letter, was it an updated LOA the requested. If that's the case, then your application seems to be on the right track.

Then back to your getting agitated, please calm down ok, you just applied by Sept, people submitted since April/may and are still hopeful and calm, and you're getting all worried up. So please call down ok. Decision will be made when it will be made. No one knows when it can happen. All you need is to hand it to God and pray for positive decision.

Once your eligibility review starts, you will get the application/profile update in your GCKey

It will surely end in praises ok

Lol. Union bank is more like an old peoples bank. So with mostly young people here, it may be hard to get.

For payment of Tuition using form A, I always advice against using all this big banks like zenith, GTB, first bank etc cos thy have plenty customers. If possible try to send the money to smaller banks. I do use StanbicIBTC and it takes just 3days to get to school even when paying through a 3rd party flywire

When you said feedback, is it feedback from your Biometrics or you Application in general. I guess your Biometrics is updated in your GCKey. Did you do upfront medicals or you got any medical request or no medicals done at all?

For feedback on your application, kindly be bombarding IRCC with daily emails and webform asking for application status cos the processing time is way overdue.

I did my biometrics in Lagos and won't be traveling till next fall, so there's no point in rushing.

Do I still make other payments, especially to the VFS, other than the courier service charge?

Also, what did the folks that got 2024 on their TRV do differently? Is it normal, or is it because they sent a new LOA to the IRCC? I want to get that too.

Reading your post(last paragraph),it got me laughing.lol. pease kindly update IRCC with updated LOA,them send your passport, they will stick your deserved counterfoil on your passport. No one does magic to determine how long the counterfoil the will stick on his or her passport. Again you know you have 30days for it to get to them.

As per Lagos, as you did your biometrics in Lagos, you won't be paying any transmission fee when ending your passport to Lagos. Just the courier fee is what you will pay.

Tuition (put the year tuition in your LOA) + living expenses /board and room (10,000) + others (3000)

But it doesn't mean the available fund must be the total of this as bolded above. Your available fund can be way above, if possible 2nd year tuition+living expenses inclusive(also note that you need to prove to vo how you and from where you intend paying the next year from). But available fund shouldn't be less than the total fund as bolded above.

Now let's assume that the VO seeing the employment date in the IMM forms, but the employment letter and CV states the correct date, VO might think, ok he made a mistake, let me overlook it. Now he is applying again, the VO sees it again. Now he will think, is obvious this is intentional and maybe this job doesn't exists. So I need to verify this employment letter. He now request for MBS of salary account to check if actually you're Working and earning salary from the job. VO always think vast, so is good we try not to make them think what if..?could it be that...?

When did you receive it? With time, your counterfoil details will be updated on your GCKey. But note you won't get mail for it, so you will have to log in to see it. After that, you will now get an email for GCKey update with your LOI

Is it so so so so so importantly mandatorily essential as it is written on it that do not misplace when coming to Canada. It must be carried in the hand luggage so when asked at port of entry, you will tender it. Infact it is what they will check to issue you permit.

Please malone, let him input the correct date in the IMM form for this reapplication. It's never an issue. But if you feel otherwise, then you're free to stick with the wrong date he inputted in the old Application.

For instance the person who filled the first IMM form put he started working 2018 meanwhile it was 2017 on the form

My advice is for him to just leave the form like that and since he is submitting appointment letter,CV it would show when he started working as not to alter what they have on record

What was his reason for previous refusal? It could be maybe the previous VO that evaluated his application didn't see it. Now what if this new VO that will evaluate it is the meticulous type that has an eye for error, what happens then? So please let him take it as an oversight from the previous application and input the correct date in this new application IMM forms.

Calm down Romoke,. DHL can't make mistake on parcel delivery unless sender imputed wrong address. So crosscheck if you wrote down the correct address. If you did, you don't need to worry ok, they have received it and will update you accordingly. They have alot on their hands. Don't worry, when they will start bombarding you with email, you will confirm. So relax ok

Should he fill a correct employment date in the new IMM form Or since they have it on record go with the former one

In his SOP and CV the correct one is there showing dates of employment

In his previous application, didn't he submit appointment letter which has date of employment? If he did, let him go with the date on appointment letter he earlier used that corresponded with the date in SOP and CV because I guess he is still gonna submit same appointment letter. Unless there was no employment and the guy drafted all those letters?

Ofcourse you can remove or add to SOA. But when removing, try not to let it go below tuition fee+living expenses+other fees quoted in your imm form. If it does and IRCC demands for updated SOA. Then there might be issue as they will think you have returned the money you borrowed.

I would like to ask how a gift deed is prepared, I intend have my dad transfer 5 million Naira to me as cost of living expenses for one year and with a promise to send another 5 million for the next year of study after on year.

My dad only does property business at the moment with no tax clearance and much documents, should I still use his SOA?

If I add gift of deed do I still need to ask him to write a sponsorship letter since I am the primary sponsor and he is supporting with living expenses for both years?

Can I just add his SOA and document of his properties?

I am yet to apply, I am just preparing all the documents I need

Please I need the gurus input and anyone else that has an idea

From the bolded, it means your dad is your sponsor or Co-sponsor. That's Sponsor is PA/Parent.

Did you pay any tuition deposit? If you did, who paid it? If you haven't, how do you intend to pay it and from who? If you say you're self sposnor and you're needing up to 10million from another person, then you're not self sponsor[b].(my thought)[/b]


So, pls do well to include SOA of your dad cos as you need to prove to the vo source of lump sum, it will make your claim of source of fund easier.

In summary, since is your dad, and if your tuition can come from you driectly and living expenses from dad, then choose sposnor as PA/Parent. In My time, I paid my full tuition from my pocket but got living expenses from Sponsor. My co-sponsor now did gift deed, sponsorship Letter/declaration of sponsorship.

My opinion though.

Yes. Flywire charges CAD$30 for every fee paid through them. If you get admission and still want to pay Tuition, you will see additional CAD$30
