Drey411: Good morning guys, A friend of mine recently told me about this thread, and that some guru's here helped her (she is in canada now). I have read through all the pages on this thread and it is inspiring and very encouraging the steps people are taking and the fact that you guys have been lavish with information that can help. Please i need your guidance, i am 25years old, graduate of Human anatomy 2:2, i have been working in the bank for over 3years and i also have experience as a medical sales rep. Please i need your advice on canada, on good schools to apply and provinces where i am likely to get visa.
Thank you You came to one of the best forums you can gather plenty of information. Kindly wait for our walking google( he knows himself ) to be online, he will surely give you the best details of courses and schools offering the courses you want. Now as regards your education and work experience which are in different fields. if you want to further in anatomy and with 2.2, your best plug is Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate as the case may be as it will hard to get into Masters unless some schools that accept a 3.0/4 in last 2 years of undergrad. This is to show academic progression. Now, for career progression, what is your job duty in the bank, this will enable gurus in the house to guide you accordingly. When you refer to a good school, do you mean in terms of ranking? if by ranking you mean, mind you it will be competitive and as well could be expensive. Again as regards your statement on the province that will you likely get a visa, a study permit is not determined by the province or school you applied to ( even though some schools tends to have high study permit approval nos) but is determined and judged by individual applicants submission and as deemed to have passed the eligibility by the VO. But start doing your own research while you wait for gurus to give you proper guidelines on how to go about it. Just my humble opinion. All the best |

Nanorest: Who can give me the total cost of migrating to Canada as a student It depends on your cost of school tuition ( cost and duration) + Living expenses for a year or 2 ( your pattern of life and province) + flight and other things. So no one can't give you a round figure of it. But to apply for SP, IRCC stated: Cost of tuition for a year+ living expenses for a year + other fees (flight and other small small things). Then show how you intend to pay for the next year if is 2 year Course. The gurus will tell u more. Credit: based on all I have read from here and I stand to be corrected though. |

Hello Guys.
If after submission of the application and both medical is passed, criminality is passed and info sharing is complete and the person later submits a renewed passport through mail and webform.
Please I would like to know whether criminality and info sharing will be done afresh? |

SweetJJ: My application is that of faith. So I started the journey last year around June/July 2020. The first University I saw offering my course (Special Education Specialization in Education of the Deaf) was University of British Columbia, and after going through their website and the department, I reached out to supervisors. I found out there are just two supervisors that could supervise my PhD study.
The first told me that my proposal is interesting but she is retiring soon and cannot take a PhD student. The 2nd person told me that she has so much on her hands and cannot take a student at the moment. I persuaded and persuaded but it all reached a dead end.
I started hunting again, I reached out to two supervisors in University of Alberta, one told me she is retiring soon and I am left with one option. Happily she accepted to supervise me and encouraged me to apply.
I later got to know she just start work a month before I reached out to her. Admission portal opened and I applied... And the wait started from October till 16th March 2021. I was admitted. Sadly though, without any funding. I reached out to her about that and she said she will offer me research assistant for the fall term, that the grant she applied for is yet to be approved.
I acted in faith, paid my full Tuition fee (8700cad), showed 2mil in my account, 1mil in my pension account, 4kCad from my supervisor for assistantship and two weeks later the department sent me 5kcad scholarship and I uploaded it through webform.
So In all my POF is not up to 25kCAD. It's just for one year. And I am going for 4year PhD. And I am self sponsored as I couldn't get anyone that will sponsor me. So I was really really scared but I trusted My God Jehovah.
Documents submitted
1) All the IRCC form 2) Admission letter 3) My birth certificate 4) My marriage certificate 5) My kids birth certificate 6) Our 3rd year anniversary family picture 7) My 5 siblings Birth certificate
My employment letter 9) My promotion letter 10) My work ID 11) Detailed 5pages SOP. I actually changed course. I studied Biochemistry undergrad, studied PGDE, Masters in Education and going for PhD. But my current work is still with my BSc 12) Undergrad Cert and Transcript (3rd class) 13) PGDE cert and Transcript (1st class) 14) M.ED Marksheet (1st class) my transcript and certificate were not out as at that time. 15) IELTS cert overall 7.5 16) upfront medical slip
POF MBS of 2mil MBS of salary account (less than 100k) Pension account of 1mil RA letter from my supervisor of 4kCAD Scholarship letter of 5kCAD

In between I ordered 4gcms note,1st and 2nd came with Review Required. 3rd came with Recommend Interview. I am yet to receive the 4th.
I hope I have not forgotten anything.
Flaws of my application: I am leaving my twin boys 2years and I just partially mentioned that my mother inlaw will take care of them while I am away. I didn't submit my husband employment letter or bank account. Funds seems not enough. I had lump sums which I explained as company's business money. No landed documents submitted.
Jehovah perfected my application. I trusted in him with all my heart. I saw his hands all through this process. This is my first application. I also applied to only one school.
I am really grateful to you all for this platform. Thanks guys. Congratulations!! So So happy for you. You really helped me when I needed it and I'm so happy yours ended in praises. I will come from Saskatchewan to buy you pizza when my own PPR lands LOL . God is really really super wonderful. |

Hello All and Gurus
Please I need your guy's kind advice and suggestion.
My class started in September. so I began class but along the line, had to withdraw and deferred to next year's sept ( that's the only intake for my course for international students). Recently, I got my new offer letter for next fall, but it was different from the previous offer letter. The difference is; the first offer letter for Sept 2021 had tuition and student fee details but the new one doesn't have tuition details. Again, a friend same course and department who differed with me got hers and hers has tuition details ( though she didn't pay any tuition deposit at all). Could it be that because I have paid full 1-year tuition already, maybe no need to include the tuition details in my new offer letter?
I tried to reach the person in charge and got an auto-mail that she will be out of office till 24.
So, because of that, I haven't updated IRCC. should IRCC request for new LOA, is it advisable I upload such a NEW LOA?
Thanks. |

TherealLadyJ: Good day guys, Please I need clarity of this.
In my previous rejection letter the reasons stated by IRCC was: Statement of purpose Family ties Personal assets and financial status
How do I respond to these issues as I wish to reapply again. Please someone should help me interprete what they mean.
Thanks. Hello ThereaLadyJ, All those reasons you listed are IRCC generic reasons written in Refusal Correspondence letters. So my question is, have you ordered GCMS to know exactly the VO's reasons for refusal. it is when the reason by VO is known can tangible feedback be given to you. But then, you can help us by giving the house your full profile to enable gurus in the house to reply to you accordingly. as it is now, I'm not sure one can give you concrete advice without your profile. For the statement of Purpose, What course are you going for? does it resonate with your previous degree or work experience? For family ties: Are you single or married. what about your family and siblings, do you have a job or property in your home country. what economic/social ties do you have to your country and family? for Personal assets and financial status: Again what properties do you have? how much do you have in your SOA, Who is your Sponsor, and how much was shown for the studies? Mind you, only GCMS can help know exactly what the VO needs to be able to tackle the reasons very well. my humble opinion though. Gracia |

gracedson: Good day my people, my school just told me that they will only give enrollment letter when I lands in Canada, and I have read a lot here that immigration asks for it before boarding and even at the POE, what document can serve as a substitute ? Or are there cases like this and were they allowed to board without Enrollment letter ? Then, kindly print out that mail you sent to school and theirs stating they will only give you an enrolment letter once you land in Canada when going to the airport. If they ask for an enrolment letter at the airport, you now tell them orally about it and show the mail as proof of our verbal reply. Please when printing the mail, ensure the school email address, date of reply, and your email is showing clearly. Again, if you have enrolled in the class, kindly print a page of your class screen as another proof of enrolment. My humble opinion though |

chichinwanks96: So I just ordered for my gcms note through gcmsonline.com. They sent a consent form to me to fill. Please under the designated representative information, whose information should I fill. Should I fill mine? I am the one making the order. I used an agent for my application but I don't want to use her Please advise Please don't fill the section 1 meant for the rep requesting your gcms on your behalf. They usually fill in their name and tell you not to fill it. Only fill section 2 meant for you, put date, print out and sign with blue pen. Then rescan back and send to them as mail attachment, stating if you want the gcms in English or French Please read the mail that came with the consent form. It has instructions highlighted with red ink. Don't make mistakes in the consent form cos if wrongly done, it will affect your gcms coming on time. Thanks |

Please people that got Canada admission how did you do i? Hello, For Master program, Most schools in Canada only ask for referees official mail and not Gmail or Yahoo mail, as they believe applicants might be the one running the said yahoo or Gmail accounts. But some schools accept it. I think university of saskatchewan,I used 2 referees with official mail and one referee with Gmail and it went through. So try and get a referee with official email.to be on safe side |
