Hello All,

Just got a mail from the IRCC Lagos office stating that they have uploaded my MBS to my file. But this MBS was sent on July 2nd, but just got the mail today. Does it mean they just uploaded it to my file?

When my GCMS came in, in the correspondence, I saw it noted there as incoming mail. so I don't understand today's mail stating they have uploaded the MBS to my file.

Somebody elaborate more on this or I'm thinking too much. lol

After the R10 check, and prior to opening by an officer, the application can go fast or slow. If it goes fast, the verification of the LOA, IELTS, and MBS can be requested on the same day but the verification responses may not be received by IRCC at the same time. The verification process can be triggered one-month prior to submission and maybe more if there is a delay.

The verification can be done almost the same time as when the background check starts, immediately an eligibility review is about to start or in the process, or almost at the end of the background check.

Most times, the background and eligibility check runs concurrently and if this becomes the case; the verification, criminality, info sharing, etc. will begin almost the same time.

Note that, despite being rare, a secondary verification can still be done for the LOA or MBS (excluding IELTS) at almost the end of the eligibility review assessment or when about to finalize the application. This can be experienced only with the MBS.

Please kindly elaborate more on this. I really want to get what you mean. As my verification is showing 0 while eligibility is showing blank meaning nothing is being done on my application or what?

Exactly, I have noticed that too in respect of documents I submitted. When they sent status update, they noted they received it through the mail even though I sent Mail and Webform.
Well, it's just to make sure, no reason could be used against someone.

Remember they stated in the CIC site that they don't accept Documents Submitted through Email. They recommends Webform. So, try to also use Webform to submit your the Renewed Passport to be on safe side.

Thanks. Yes i'm aware. But then when I sent my MBS both (mail ad webform), i noticed in my GCMS that it was the mail that indicated received.

I sent It to Nairobi both Mail and webform and to London by mail only.

It simply means they are working with reduced personnel hence they don't have enough human resource to reply your mail. However they have acknowledge receipt of it.

Is funny how Nairobi office acknowledges email/webform.

Was able to send my renewed passport to both London and Nairobi offices as both are handling my application ( secondary & primary offices respectively) and got below attached reply.

So please what does Nairobi means by their bolded reply

comot some cloths nah to create space for foodstuffs and reduce to 23kg per bag. Max is 2 bags plus 7kg hand luggage if I'm not mistaken.

If you order a GCMS note and still waiting for an update, check your application due date;

You can find it on your 3rd page where you will see the two officers in charge of your application from start to finish and the app due date.

If the application due date has been exceeded except feedback soon.


Also, if you have a RI or RR (eligibility assessment on page 2) on your GCMS note and couldn't find any anything relating to it in your note (last 2 pages), it means:

V.O have concerns they cannot write down due to discriminatory reasons (which is usually redacted in the note)....such as age diff, religion diff, culture differences, socioeconomic diff, previous marriages, etc. This is usually not "too" serious.

If it's not related to any of the above, it will be noted in your note (last 2 page) for you to address it. And please do that as soon as you can.

Lol. Does that really work? My due date was July 2nd but up till now, even eligibility is yet to start.

Of course, a security and background check will be done on the new passport.

My hope is that you receive an approval this Aug then you wouldn't need to submit another. However, if you have the new passport pls submit it because they might mostly likely ask for it.

Is really worrisome. But what of me that wants to update them with my renewed passport? The one I submitted with my application will expire Oct 30th 2021. I don't have any other choice than to send the renewed passport.

So please how do i go about that.

Can bank help in payment of school using flywire?

Yes. If your school uses flywire for tuition payment, just generate transfer details from the flywire app, take it to the bank, and fill form A, include the details (ensure to put the flywire transfer ID) in the form A. That's how I paid mine. It got to Flywire in 4days, then the previous day, it was sent to school and they generated the tuition receipt for me.

NB: you can always monitor the process in the app. Again, some banks do feel skeptical about using it as it is payment through a 3rd party.

If it's blank you can also know by checking the notes & verification pages to see if any action as regards eligibility has occurred. "Notes" on GCMS note could be like 4-5 actions (one or two is always pointing to eligibility). At times, the first page might be blank and eligibility has started.

First page eligibility and pre-assessment both blank, but all others are either completed or passed.

As for the bolded, don't know because have read through the whole pages. Saw notes on medicals. For info sharing, saw countries it was shared with. But as regards to eligibility, can't remember seeing anything mentioning eligibility except for the blank first Page.

Even the MBS I submitted through webform and email that no acknowledgement mail was sent, I saw it there.

In a recent GCMS notes I saw, application was transferred to different office 15 times due to workload (stated on the note) - May till July 20th.

During this period, many secondary offices will change. The primary office is constant except on rare occasions.

Our prayers is that we will share a testimony of success in this process. As I have been saying; There's a God factor in this process whether you acknowledge or not.

Is true. In my note, it was 12times if am not mistaken. From Nairobi to London to china to Nairobi and back to China and bla bla bla back and forth. But the funny thing about it is that, after all the travel that my application did, eligibility never even start.

Is just funny but then I strongly believe it will surely end in praises for all of us. Amen.

Finally my Note has arrived but eligibility is super blank. Can't find any pre-assessment note. Guess I have to go allow my GCkey to rest small. The poor thing don suffer for my hand.

Pls how do I generate my bank statement from Access bank. Access doesn’t not have the option in its app like GT and UBA

They(access) do give. But most branches don't know what it is. So when I insisted and showed them sample, they branch made call to another branch which I don't know, but I presume is lagos or main head branch in imo state, and it was done and copy given to me.

Why do you want to self sponsor when you have a a decent UK master's? Go for a funded PhD program. You don't need IELTS, GRE and GMAT for many of PhD programs.

Please highlight some of them in finance/accounting. it will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

MP means Member of Parliament.. Lemme liken it to House of Rep member or Senate member here in Nigeria..

Just like we have each of this House of rep/Senate members from each state of the country or State house of Rep from each local government of the state, MP also represents the provinces in Canada (Nothing like states in Canada, we call them Provinces)..

So for you to send a MP a message, you need to do your research to know which province your school is, and when you are sure of that, then you go ahead to know the MPs in that province( A province can have many MPS or few as the case may be), when this is also done, then you can send a message to any of the MPs in your school Province.
