Hey guys, its quite a while. I know some people have giving up on the recruitment exercise and rightly so, even myself.

However, I salute the courage of those who still ask questions from the NNPC mgt on the status of the recruitment. It just have to happen that in our time, people are accountable and not just lock up because they feel nothing will happen. It pains me really, that 2years and not even a definite statement if it has been closed or canceled. Its just not okay. Private firm will do this and go free, should we still accept it from government parastatals? I don't think so.

In my own opinion, I believe the undue delay is because God is judiciously packaging something BIG for those of us that will eventually receive the APL. He is also taking time to weed out the forces that may stand against the ordinary Nigerian (without connect) getting some of these appointments.

Whatever the situation is, all glory belongs to God for He is worthy. Amen.

May this EH recruitment exercise come to an end this July and most importantly may God's favour shine on us. Amen. The wait has been exhausting

Abeg guys, if una no go fit give complete info make una no even bother at all. This syndrome of wanting people to beg you for more details does not make sense.

If the info is as sensitive as you guys are making it appear to be then you shouldnt have bothered saying anything in the first place.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but i think the end has come. we E.H hopefuls gats to move on. The GT cadre recruitment was out before the embargo on recruitment was placed by FG. Now for those that think NNPC cant be affected by that embargo, needs to rethink again. With the decline in Oil prices and economic, i dont see NNPC publishing names of EH now. Maybe in the nearest future there may be hope for us. till then i wish u guys greatness in all your endeavours.

Also, I don't think majority of the contract staff have the requirement (competence/experience) to fit into these EH positions. Time will tell...we pray to be favoured.

From my years of experience I haven't seen where they converted a cntract staff above the first level of graduate/professional staff cadre.

It will be surprising to hear that a contract staff now in NNPC was converted to SS4 or SS3. The usual thing is to convert them to SS6, which is the base of professional staff (GTs)

Well probably I don't know much. Someone can help me understand why we think this contract staff is a threat to EH. I don't think so.

There are few occasions I probably will advice someone to stay at a place when offered more. However, I think u are still a young guy, who shoudnt be tempted with few cash. Well I don't know how great the coy u are now is, however, do not dull this NNPC at this ur early start.
A pont comes in a man's life where the ease of getting new jobs slows down. What offer would u take to this ur current employer to further increase ur pay from 7m?

I am quite certain that interview mails were sent in A DAY. this won't be any different so, don't count on it happening today. its done and dusted.

EH needs closure just the way the GT can now have rest and all anxiety put aside. we hope for the best.

For those hoping for replacement of candidate who will reject the offer. Remove your mind. Nobody is replacing anybody.

Guess we should all just chill. This next week syndrome is getting nauseating. One thing am certain is that this particular recruitment has an end date and APL will be released to those grace met (I can't say abt merit).

Even as an EH, I can feel happiness in me that at least some pple wud be liberated very soon. While we await that of EH. At least if we see the turn out of APLs here for Gt, we can estimate how merit based the exercise has been.

There is no doubt we all need a closure to this recruitment. It is just a normal course of life for humans to see what they started come to a conclusive end. Again it is a game changer kind of job in this economy we find ourselves. Less stress to conventional private job, good money and great gratuity if u stay till retirement. i wonder who wudn't be anxious for positive news.

(3) APL will come to you, and it will be a history later on, "because by then, you will be on NNPC official errands for the GMD".

Hi guys, quite a while. The wait for the conclusion of this recruitment has not been easy for most of us. Even for some of us that got new jobs within last year, the need to see to the end of this process, still remains paramount.
It is my utmost prayer that this waiting phase comes to an end (positively or otherwise) and we all move on to other things.
From my discussion with a source, the wait we are experiencing is all caused by the change in management of NNPC (GMD). Without this change there was no way we wont have known our fate last year. its quite sad.

Happy New Year guys. It's been a while in here. wish u all the best this year and by God's grace this recruitment will come to a positive end for all of us.

Let's just leave NNPC alone for the now. I'm certain that even the GMD does not know when the APL is coming out. I do not believe it is because of the court case. I believe there are a whole lot of things going on that we don't know about.
We only know what we are told, and they only tell us what they want us to know irrespective of the channel through which we get our info.
If you were interviewed, just keep praying and keep hope alive. These delays might just end up be for your favour and you are somewhere complaining about release date. For some persons, the list will not come out until their names are included. There must be a turning and turning until it is their turn.
Be an optimist, believe and pray. It will cost you nothing more than your faith. However, be focused on whatever you are currently doing. Don't stall your life because of the APL.

While I encourage pple to focus on the present happenings in their lives, if u r very concerned feel free to explore reaching out to the corporation on the status of the recruitment. That it is govt doesn't mean it should take a year or 2 to be concluded.
