luap:nairaland has a good number of this type |
what went wrong was sir alex ferguson! brilliant as he is, the man simply loves mediocrity. one cannot compare man uniteds squad to chelseas and even arsenal have a larger number of individual match winners than we do. we sold ronaldo and then brought in valencia, diouf, owen and obertan, an extremely mediocre collection of players for a club with the ambition of winning a fourth consecutive premier league title and playing in their third consecutive champions league final. the money was there for him to make quality signings and instead of doing that he tarted singing that there is no value in the market1this coming from a man who paid 20 mil for owen hargreaves, 20 mil for carrick and 30+ for berbatov! was that value for money? wish the old man would get over his pride. after alls been said, we must remember that united cannot win forever and that is why at the begining of the season i tipped chelsea to win it again and if we are not careful they may just retain it next year. |
was it really necessary to mention her name? |
Eyah:lmao fairplay |
Missy B:where have i defined where you can speak or not? lynx7: Missy B:if i am not mistaken which i am not, the first name he mentioned was kgdavid not missy b ![]() |
@ op ur point is entirely relevant though slightly inaccurate to me. what im saying is that some pretty girls appear to be less mentally endowed sometimes because they cant be arsed to use their brain. understand that once a girl realizes the extent of her beauty, she projects it as superiority over you and thus who are you to argue with her? of course there are pretty girls who are remarkably stupidd but the same goes for ugly ones too |
Eyah:you neglect the parameter which defines these variables as factors common to women only. if i'm not mistaken the poster is a man and therefore ur seemingly witty post is rendered null, dull and void. you must be beautiful ![]() |
^ i would have thought you would adhere to the advice in your own signature?? @ OP yea ur right and sometimes i wonder what is wrong with some girls. they seem to think that by right they are owed the attentions of eligible men regardless of their own natural state, its amazing |
rubbish comments. for her to have been dating since the age of the 12 the guy likely is young as well. childish infatuation cannot last for four years! infatuation at best will take you a few months. don't make the mistake of assuming that because the poster is young she cannot possibly be matured enough to truly love someone. a teenage guy sticking with a girl for four years is most definitely not infatuation. poster what do you want to hear though? after four years is it now you are sixteen that you want to know whether you are young or old? at sixteen you should be able to figure this out yourself. |
first understand that this is not the final list. secondly a player like john utaka has been going through a very bad patch in his career but he has picked up form in the last two months or so. he is in the squad to prove whether he still has the ability to deliver and that judgment will be made by a coach who knows his football better than you and i. utaka remains for me the most technically sound option for our right flank. as of now all we have on the right flank are players of limited skill and pace who just run with the ball for 3 metres and then pass. utaka can bring something different with his crossing ability. danny Shittu for all his skill deficiency remains one of Nigeria's top three defenders. i cannot recall ever seeing Shittu put in a bad performance for Nigeria. as yobo appears to be in the gradient of his career, i can only point my fingers at the younger duo of Apam and Adeleye as being better than Shittu. Afolabi is good but not quite as good as the aforementioned. Yakubu has been poor as well in recent times but i feel that on the basis of the ability this man has shown in the past, he deserves a chance to prove that he can still deliver at the top level. to me yakubu's problem might be attitudinal but on his day that guy is not a joke. Michael Eneramo is one i feel sorry for as he has the hunger to play for Nigeria. However he is simply not good enough! His touch on the ball and control are really poor and not up to the level we expect of a super eagles striker. His strong points which are his physical strenght and arial presence in the box are very useful but we have better players who can deliver the same in the person of Yakubu and Victor Anichebe. Anichebe in particular is very similar to Eneramo in the sense that both are very physical centre forwards. Anichebe to me would be a better choice because technically he has all the attributes that Eneramo lacks. His control is miles better and though he does not really have dribbling skills he is an attacking threat. Add to this the fact that Anichebe already has years of premier league Experience and Michael Eneramo really has no case to be in the team. |
did you or did you not make a comparison between men and gorillas? does that not imply that though men are your number one choice, ur next best option after men are gorillas? are you stupid?? you say men do not rank high on your list of desirability and neither do gorillas, where is the differentiation between man and gorilla in this statement? |
neither to be honest. wat did either of them do for me or for nigeria? never heard of dagrin till he died and even when i listened to his music i could not see what the hype was all about. to be a little cynical, it took the death and illness of yaradua to give me some hope for nigeria's future. people die every day all around us and we don't give them a second glance so why should i care so much about someone whose name i know only because he is on my tv screen? people die everyday! children die everyday! an unruly young man kills himself out of drunkeness and an ineffective leader dies after holding an entire nation to ransom(nobody should tell me it was his wife bla bla bla because yar'adua knew very well that he was very sick and did not do the honourable thing) and people are crying? cry for the children of sudan if you must cry, cry for the children of iraq and afghanistan, heck, cry for the children of nigeria. |
the post is a literary failure of epic proportions. a child in primary school can articulate himself better than this. in terms of content the post is rather reminiscent of the rantings of an actual mad black woman. if you think men are evil you have two options, go join a convent(this option is probably not for you as you probably do not fit their criteria. i.e you've been bleeped too many times). your other option is to search for your pussy licking fellow homos and have your despicable fun. vivaladiva:implying that the next best option to a man is a gorrila huh? y am i not surprised?? ![]() |

precisely bro. i mean if anyone can be naive enough to call this team "amodu's team" then berti vogts has every right to call it his team. within the last 5-6 years nigerian has called on roughly the same set of 23 players with 2-3 minor changes. heck the same 3 goalkeepers have been in the squad for the better part of a decade! what claim does amodu have to calling this his team? is he the one that made them footballers? its like saying steve mclaren can call the england team his team after all capello still selected rooney, gerrard, lampard, terry, ferdinand, cole etc, they are using roughly the same set of players but with vastly different results. thats what we should be watching out for. |
i dont know why nigerians have a problem understanding this. everybody is talking about changin the players amodu used in the afcon but is the new coach supposed to manifacture quality players? mikel is not the best player in the world in his position but he is nigerias best player in his position same goes for all others. as simple as. |
hey cinema lovers whats the main attraction for you, the movie or the outing? would you go out to watch a an old movie or you go to cinemas purposely to watch movies you havent seen before? |
richard69:
i rather date Turai , she is so sweet
u want to die before your time right? just go ask her last husband |
adebayo is an average player but yusuf is even worse. best bet for that spot is either odiah or apam. |
lol very funny replies. true talk though |
^ true i guess but if anything i think it at least proves that the lady does not dislike you for starters. there is a level of intimacy i doubt most ladies would get into with a guy they barely know and wen i say turning up the moves i mean that kinda dancing that is no longer dancing but has turned into sex with clothes on, ![]() |
it would be a mistake to write off mikel. that guy has great ball skills.he needs to be used properly. i would say that people need to watch him play for chelsea andreally watch closely what he does. however haruna lukman is the future of nigeria. i have said it so many times(not necessarily on NL), while rabiu was dazzling people with skills i was noticing haruna's impeccable passes, surging runs and powerful shots. mikel and haruna are similar inn one aspect which is that they are very highly skilled technically. you hardly see an inaccurate pass from either player particularly haruna. |
say you just met this lady and a few days later you meet her at a mutual friends party or something. you guys dont really talk much but you get to dance and she starts turning out the moves and gettin really into the dance, isnt this an indication that she might like you? i know ladies are usually very particular about guys touching them on any part of the body even their arms and shoulders depending on the guy. on the other hand some chicas just love to move their bodies regardless of the guy, so im not sure if one can read too much into a dance. your thoughts? |
guyz i think the poster needs to know how expensive life in lagos is not whether or not you dont like the fact he is getting the job. you can open a separate topic for that but right now the guy needs serious advice. as for me i have no idea |
^ saudi arabia were beaten 8-1 8 years ago! how is that result relevant today? i assure u saudi football has progressed in leaps and bounds since then. |
i wonder if they were still enjoying the game even after maybe the first 8 hours. that one is not football anymore it is hard labour |
where is goodluck? |
incredible!!! |
Sleek Reek:you must differentiate between physical fitness and match fitness. physical fitnes has nothing to do with playing games, that can gained in the gym and in training. match fitness has to do with sharpness, reaction, touch on the ball and all those little nitty gritty details. how much fitness will he lose after a mere three week injury? one game will set him right as far as match fitness is concerned and three weeks is not enough to erode mikels reserves of stamina. deb:true but we have a new coach who might just decide to use him in his proper position. lets wait and see. i am convinced playing mikel as a deep lying play maker will yield dividends for us. |
and i even thought the thread was going to be about me , in the country of the blind the one eyed man is king so i claim my throne as ![]() |
