forgot that he hadn't sharpened the machete for months! enraged |
lol every time i read ur posts i laugh in arabic! 'a simple grammer' indeed! lol u cant even spell grammar |
bullshit. the top english defenders would be Terry and Ferdinand Ferdinand plays for the same team as united so that is rubbish, Terry has played rooney only once this season and everyone saw how tight both defenses were in that game. which defenders was your friend referring to? |
here He was talking about the end of the world as we know it and not about the hour of His death as you claim, hereby exposing your lack of knowledge of the subject matter. i have not yet, in my study of the bible, read the reason why Jesus said He is not privy to this information and as such i cannot reasonably comment on it. |
neither amodu shuaibu nor mozambique qualified nigeria for the world cup. the players themselves did it with some help from lady luck |
chakula: |
thx for that compliment |
dude where are you from? u do not sound nigerian at all, u from a french speaking african country? |
chakula:i'm afraid i do not understand. would you be so kind as to re-phrase that question? |
ur argument is so flawed.song is at arsenal who on current form are just as good as chelsea so what evidence do you have that he would not start for chelsea? in any case no two clubs play exactly the same way so where one player might succeed in one club and not do well at another it is not reflective of/on his ability. case in mind is lassana diara who flopped out at both chelsea and arsenal where both mikel and song where ahead of him in the pecking order. now he is at real madrid which is a bigger club than either chelsea or arsenal and he is recognized as a much better player than either mikel or song. besides, i highly doubt that mikel would make it at arsenal as he is too slow and immobile for their style of play. |
^spot on. can u imagine he is quoting ancient history as his example? 98 for crying out loud!! mascherano and torres should both have been sent off |
'many a true word spoken in jest' |
well compared to your lengthy involvement in the game i am but a rookie though i still think i know a bit of football. true, the system is dysfunctional and rather than this being a product of Mikel's input,it is more of the case of Mikel being a product of the system. in the national team we have some serious professionals who play good football for their clubs but on the pitch for naija they look like schoolboys. this would suggest serious organizational flaws. i'm not sure what percentage of that money Mikel got (if any) cuz it was paid to united as compensation. there was nothing fraudulent about offering lyn oslo 4m for mikel. at the time of he contract, he was still very much a junior player. i didnt say it is a necessity for every player to start small, what i said was that due to the peculiar situation he found himself in(being the subject of a public tug of war between two big clubs at such a young age) it might have helped him to be placed in a more humble setting for a while. i said only mourinho knows why he converted him from an attackin midfielder to a defensive one. as for why the other coaches play him, i cant really say. i never said he was a poor player mind u, i said he is average and can be better the clubs are out to maximise profits but how do they do this? by collecting our money. almost every single source of income for a football club is tied to its fans. the biggest problem in world football today is the fact that clubs are becoming more about business than football. the fans are getting shut out of things and money is now numero uno. Fans deserve to have a say |
lbotus:so what are you since you are apparently neither male(they) or female(them)? animal abi extra terrestrial?? Dyt: |
Spyker:hey watch it pal ![]() |
this guy certainly does not fit the profile of a rich guy based abroad. the flaws are too many * exposed guys do not mis behave over someone they just saw * the lines he claims to have used are wack! you love her already? * the story is too artificial. How come both he and the girl happened to be ditched by "wicked nigerians" at almost the same time? * lastly his grammar is poor. i hereby conclude that this is an attention seeking plot. |
na u sabi. let the neutrals judge whether you have sense or not. |
You don't know what you are talking about. Jesus knew when the 'hour' had come and began to give instructions to his disciples. nothing you have said above is true. do you just sit down and decide to type rubbish? the worst thing about you is that you think you have posting something sensible when all i see is perpetual nonsense devoid of any facts. |
are you saying yes Mary had conceived Jesus by the time of her barmitzvah? what i want to know is if you are saying yes you know this for a FACT. don't tell me about the traditions of the jews at that time, tell me straight up that you know for a fact that she was pregnant at such and such period of time. |
as i said in the other thread, Jesus did not die because He could not save himelf. Jesus's very mission on earth was for that very purpose; to die as a sacrifice, an atonement for sins He never committed. in John 10:18 it says and i quote- 'No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.' understand that Jesus was on a mission |
^ i've made my point already and i have no more to say regarding that. |
hmmm u have a creative mind but this one is a little weird i think |
good story. i found myself enthralled and i think you could definitely develop this into a good novel. i think you could work a little on your diction though. |
ayettymama:lol trust africans to pick up english slangs and turn em into something else |
ayettymama:lol imagine that! |
stunned into action, Eze leapt up. grabbing a machete he |
lol man ur a funny guy. well only mourinho knows what he saw in Mikel that made him decide to use the chap as a DM. i certainly think he must have been really special judging not only by the way united and chelsea fought over him but also by his performances in the youth world cup at that time. perhaps the move to chelsea came too soon for him and he could not deliver his best under the pressure he was in. who knows? like i said only mourinho would be able to enlighten us. maybe mikel would have benefited from being in a smaller premiership club where he would be fighting to help them avoid relegation. such things help to build character but as it was, he ended up being dumped in a pile of superstars while the whole word was expecting him to be the next big thing. it is possible he either become too arrogant and started believing his own hype or he started feeling inferior. either one is a recipe for disaster. should he then have gone to united? who can say? after all anderson was also supposed to be the next big thing as an attacing midfielder but at some point was being used as a DM. mikel has some good attributes. he is a good passer of the ball. i remember being amazed by his level of technique back then. i would suggest that nigeria use mikel in something similar to the role carrick plays for united. in truth most midfielders take time to developbut for someone wearing the no10 for his country, we want more. in his shoes what would i do? i would go out there and play football to the very best of my ability. yes mikel has made it in life and he has found "geener pastures" but do not forget one thing: "the customer is always right". footballers make their money from you and i! everytime you pay your dstv bill, you are contributing to mikels salary and everytime you buy original chelsea merchandise(assuming you do) you are contributing to mikels salary. so is it not right or the customer to complain if they don't like the services rendered to them? |
^ i'm sorry i do not really get what you're saying can you please elaborate? |
don't bother uourselves jare. the bible is there for all to read and understand. all these illiterate christians are an embarrassment to themselves. is it so hard to read a simple verse an interprete it properly? shame! i say again you are nothing but pharisee's |
after the youth world cup Mikel was my favorite player.i purchased his full chelsea jersey even though i am a united fan. the point here is that the Mikel we see today is not what all nigerians were hoping and expecting to see. he is now an average defensive midfielder who seems rather arrogant. as for the man of the match thing, he made an impact coming on in that game but its very unusual to give the man of the man award to a substitute anywhere in the world. it must be noted that mourinho might be responsible for this although i remember n his first few games he was given an attacking midfield spot before it was decided that he was better as DM |
don't mind them. that was both a penalty and should ave been a red card for mascherano! he held on to valencia even as valencia entere the box, stopping a clear goal scoring chance, a crime punishable by the awarding of a red card. educate yourselveson the laws of the game here http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/federation/81/42/36/lawsofthegameen.pdf to see a pic of the action look here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=65009848 |
interesting. this season messi has 34 while rooney has 33 so as far as goals go they are pretty equal. however the point about the level of defending in la liga being poor is quite valid.the defending is extremely soft and if you watch messi play in europe and for his country you will hardly see him dribbling players in the same way he does in the league. overall i'd say messi has an edge over rooney only in terms of dribbling ability. its the same old ronaldo vs messi scenario we had last season. messi is also an incredibly selfish player |
