as valencia has been making his mark for us, i've been coming up with an idea which i think is worth trying. Valencia on our right flank is a much more different player from cristiano ronaldo. for one he is not nearly as skilful and is rather one dimensional. The strentgh of valencia's play is his ability to use his pace to get to the by-line and deliver reasonable crosses. now this is something we don't get on our left flank. in fact the only input we really get from that left flank is from evra as giggs now plays more central and nani is right footed and not that fast(as compared to valencia). therefore i would suggest that we convert anderson or at least use him in that position with a mandate similar to valenia's. anderson should be about as fast as valencia and is naturally left footed. using anderson as a left winger would effectively kill two birds with one tone as when united are off the ball,he could easily drift in and lend an hand.what do yall think bout this? |

Kratos007:thats rubbish mate. the rules of the game do not make allowance for what may or may not happen after a tackle. the rules make provision for the ref to deal with the intent(if malicious) and nature(if reckless) of a tackle not the aftermath of the tackle.this is why players can get sent off for kicking out at the air when it is clear that the intention was to kick an opponent.to establish my point, was paulo fereirra sent off for breaking rooneys foot in the 2005/2006 season? no and rightly so, because the tackle was fair and the injury, accidental.in this case, the red card is extremely harsh. shawcross had every right to go for that ball and there is nothing malicious about the way he did. looking at that tackle one would never have expected anything serious to come out of it. i was shocked to see the broken leg cuz worse tackles than this happen every other day. guys injuries are a part of professional sport, they are an occupational hazard! i feel so sorry for ramsey but lets not take things out of context. |

^^modric is not an unsung hero in the sense that he is a very good player and everyone knows it. unsung heroes would be john o'shea, jermaine jenas, stilian petrov, niko kranjcar, lee carsley and a bunch of others. these guys all put in a good shift but hardly make the headlines. especially kranjcar and petrov |

well i wonder why we haven't heard much about it from terry's wife s point of view? guess no one cares about her cause she does not play football.terry is a massive fool. he started foolin with bridges girl while bridge was still with her for some months before they broke up. you don't do that to your vest friend especially when you area married man with kids of your own. bridge though does not seem to appreciate God's gift to him. for a man who has spent the majority of his career playing second fiddle to ashley cole, you would think he would relish the chance to finally play first team in the world cup? what happened to good ole 'for the love of the game'? |

it is inevitable that defenders will mistime a few challenges and thats what the ref is for. in this particular case it was a 50 50 ball which might loo otherwise simply ecause ramsey was much quicker than shawcross. the ball was initially shawcross's but he ovrplayed it, giving ramsey an opening. Ramsey goes into that tackle just as aggressively as shawcross and the referee himself has admitted he would not have given a red card if not for the broken leg |

Its either most of you are just talking without having actually seen the footage or you have never played football before or you are frustrated arsenal fans looking for a way to vent your anger. that was a typical 50 50 tackle and the ref was not going to give shawcross a card till he saw that the foot was broken. it would be clear to anyone who knows football that this was nothing but an accident. i feel sorry for ramsey as he is such a promising footballer and thankfully he has access to top class resources so hopefully he will be back in the not too distant future. guys this is the reality of professional football. |

Mikel is no good. if you get on chelsea forums,no one likes him, if you get on man u forums everyone is so happy we collected our 14/16 mil and later got anderson. i keep watching chelsea matches hoping that he will do something great but he never does. last saturday against city he was simply embarrassing. never mind his part in tevez's first goal. his defending for bellamy's goal was the worst i have seen this year.forget the guy. the real question is can Azeez make it at united an are united really in for the guy? |

i noticed one thing as i was reading all the above and there is a remarkable contradiction.You say mohammed married widows to fulfil their sexual and material needs and so prevent them from being wayward. how then is it that these women had to beg for better conditions and were 'coldly' refused? you say he did not have sexual relations as he spent the night praying till his feet were swollen. so sexually he could not have been doing his sexual duty and materially he was not doing much for these ladies. if all he wanted to do for them was to provide them with the bare minimum essential for survival, he certainly did not have to marry them. someone rightly pointed out that the age of marriage might be a cultural thing. yes but nature has left us with "universal guidelines" a girl of nine may not even be able to conceive and if she does, she has more than three times the likelihood of suffering serious obsteric problems. do u really think the age of nine is ideal for the pain women go through in pregnancy? |

lol. the funny thing is that before the discovery was made that the guy is a hypocrite, people where being cautious and generally having the attitude that the wife may not be guilty. as soon as mr max pops up with his interesting discovery,the attitude changes and now every one is assuming the lady is guilty. |
