DBestDoc:I'm not too sure you understand how the NHIS works. Teaching hospital is not where you enrol for NHIS. In theory, corporate organisations and government workers are to enroll for NHIS, in practice only government workers use it and enroll for it. The requirements is not convenient for most SME. I'm saying this because I've once inquired about registering my workers for the policy. It is not realistic. If in doubt, please name any private business enrolled in NHIS. |
bigpicture001:NHIS is only for government workers. How many government workers do we have in Nigeria? |
I doubt if when you're feeling depressed any content from a book can cure you. I'm saying this from experience. But there's a drug that cures depression. I didn't know this until I visited the hospital. |
Bloggers go kill us on top this matter. |
PataAlhajaKeji:I've asked this question and I was insulted on NL for asking. The truth is I doubt they will ever extradite their citizen. Even if they do, one thing I'm sure they can never do is extradite a security personnel. And to an African country at that. The funny thing is that this scenario had occured in the past when it was discovered that a CIA agent was fingered in the killing of DRC president. You can read up to know the rest of what happened but they never gave up the agent. |
ojobek:No he is not. Except that Maiduguri where he owns lots of properties is very close to Niger and Chad. The day he makes that mistake consciously or unconsciously, he's gone |
If he chooses to toe that path it will be very bad for him. Many of you analysing are actually underestimating the influence of US in Africa. As common as moving to Niger republic or Ghana and your guy is cooked. He doesn't necessarily need to visit US or UK before he's arrested. |
I want to believe this news is fake. I can't believe Nigeria has degenerated this low |
CrossRiverian:Please don't fool yourself here. How many times has American security personnel been indicted for abuses including extra judicial killing in Afghanistan. Did they surrender their operatives for questioning? When the CIA was fingered in the killing of DRC president, did they surrender their operative for questioning? Oga book, please educate us how many times any serious nation has ever surrendered any of their security personnel for questioning. |
What the writer said is correct. No sovereign nation will surrender his/her security operative to another nation for questioning or investigation. |
MufasaLion:As stupid as it sounds, advice is what can easily take you out of depression. |
Sebastine1994:We should ask ourselves if it was the US, will they extradite their security personnel to face criminal charges in another country? Several of their soldiers have been found wanting to extra judicial killing in Afghanistan. How many faced justice? Personally I think we should just allow the PSC do its job and return Abba Kyari to the profession he claims he loved which is Fashion designing. |
LikeAking:When you have kids you can choose to do whatever you like with them. Summer lessons are not compulsory. I'm not aware of any school making it compulsory. I'm even trying to think if I've seen any government school in Benin City conducting summer lessons. For me during this period I personally teach my kids once in a while though just to know how they're catching up. But most parents are the one requesting for the lesson because of the nature of their job. They usually want somewhere comfortable and safe the child can stay till they return from work. Once there is demand for a product, the product (service) will be available. |
kingzjay:See .. any police officer that is associated with or once worked in SARS department is a criminal pure and simple! |
temitope27:Please which of the Abba Kyari? Is it the tailor or the former COS to Buhari? |
nairavsdollars:Why are you blabbing? I asked you a question you're yet to answer. IS THE CBN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POLICIES THAT AFFECT OUR EXCHANGE RATE? |
dangoteinlaw:The first step is to get a format. The complicated part is to originate a format. The surprising part is that most format are designed by white men |
rottennaija:My friend the guy is a tailor! What is so difficult to understand? |
nairavsdollars:See how foolish you sound. Is the CBN governor responsible for the policies affecting the exchange rate of our currency? Instead of channeling your grievance to the right place you are here chasing shadows. Even if you replace the CBN today with another northerner it won't solve anything as long as you have a dunce in charge of the affairs in the country |
That is Abba Kyari should be ready to stay put in Nigeria. The day he leaves for mecca or any other country where USA has a high influence is the day he's cooked. Regardless if he remains in Nigeria the image of our police force will be seriously battered to the extent that giving a Nigerian police visa might even become difficult. What happened to that SARS officer in Canada should be a reminder |
K-leg is also known as knock knees. Meanwhile if you have money people will imitate you even though you're speaking nonsense. I've seen this severally |
Seun they are about to ruin this site. That a mod could throw this topic to FP shows the quality of their mentality. I'm shocked to say the least |
braveheart77:What other science are you looking for? If you light a match stick and place it inside your mouth and close your mouth instantly, the fire stops and you puff out smoke. The science behind it is that fire requires air to burn, once you stop the air from getting to the source of the fire, the fire ceases to exist |
Ariani:I'm not surprised you didn't get the point. That is what happens when you are filled with so much bitter. Now let me spell it out one by one to those that might be reasoning along your line. Asari and Kanu were once friends. When things were rosy Asari said he was a briafrian. When all these were going on, did you guys consult IYC? Did you guys also care to hear from IYC? Asari also claimed he was consulted by Kanu to train some boys. Was the IYC considered when all these were happening? Why are you now concerned or waiting for IYC when the friendship has gone sour? Or you think IYC is silly? The dealings the Kanu had with Asari, was it based on Ijaw to Igbo relationship or Kanu to Asari relationship? |
Ariani:My brother Asari Dokubo and IPOB were once friends. When Asari Dokubo was saying he is Biafra, bla, bla,bla... Did you hear from Ijaw? So why are you expecting to hear from them now that things have gone south between the two? Meanwhile what Asari said is the truth. If you're offended, sorry, but that's the fact |
I also experienced this. It was difficult though. I started going to church because it got to a point it's like I was lonely. If you don't visit your friends they will never visit you cause they feel you're no longer on their level. It is then you know God is your strength. |
What kind of fake document are these? and you're even backing it with Wiki. Oga it is common knowledge that Malaysia bought their seeds from Nigeria Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) Benin City. I'm surprised you don't know this. |
wellmax:Of course we have all seen it in the ministry but how many have you verified? You're not the only one attending the church. Also I'm wondering why christians of today are scared of performing the miracles they claim exist. I |
For those of us in Nairaland since 2010, we know that this issue has been over flogged here. The conclusion is that there is nothing like miracles. They are staged. It's only when you don't know the trick behind it that it's called a miracle |
This list is absolute nonsense. I will not blame the OP because I've also seen a foreign encyclopedia that listed these men as dictators. My question is this can they tell us what made these two men dictators: Gaddaffi and Abacha. Even in this write up what they can say about Abacha is that he wanted to.... He wanted to.... Please tell us why he is a dictator not these nonsense. Abacha was not too good but if we sincerely want to judge the worst leader Nigeria ever had in terms of ruthlessness Abacha will not top the list. The west have been publishing various nonsense about Abacha so that we can hate him in order to deter people from looking into how he was killed. Just as they also killed this Haitian president. Tomorrow they will tell you he was a dictator nonsense. |
I don't know why but I keep getting the feeling that the US government might have a hand in this man's assassination |
codemaniacs:@the bolded, it is foolish for anyone to say that in 2021. This goes to show the type of leadership we have in Nigeria. On the contrary to what you wrote, it is your foolish leaders that fool you to believe Nigeria is the richest country. One of them even said a while back that Nigeria has money and the problem is what to spend it on. Now I'm surprised that with the level of your education you can spew such nonsense about Nigeria. How do you know a rich country? Standard of living, GDP, what the country produces to sell or services rendered etc. Please your rich country, what does it produce? I'm not sure you goggled the wealth of equatorial guinea before typing that nonsense. Nigeria does not produce anything. I mean nothing to sell to the world. The only thing we have is crude oil and agricultural products. Now for crude oil, google the amount of money generated from crude oil in Nigeria annually and check our expenditure annually and tell me how that looks rich. The other products we have is Agric but the world are not interested in buying agricultural products from Nigeria even if we develop the sector. The reason is that Nigeria does not have a good reputation plus we a don't have monopoly in that area. Most agricultural products we can sell is also been sold by the Asians. And because of the Asians humility the world prefers to do business with them. Please tell me again how Nigeria is rich. Do we have a high GDP ratio, a good standard of living or do we produce anything valuable to the world. That your politicians steal big does not mean you're wealthy. Go back and read, you will discover that majority of what your politicians steal are borrowed money. From dasuki to grass cutter, etc . They all stole money approved by the Senate. |
