Religion / Re: Is It Right Or Wrong To Give A Beggar My Tithes by khadaffi(m): 6:06pm On Dec 19, 2021 |
Dada4me: There are so many holes in your submission but I know this is the general explanation being preached in most churches, although it is wrong. Your submission shows you don't understand why Jesus Christ died for us. I want to ask again are you sure you understand why he died? The temple of God dwells within us not in a building. After Jesus died everyone had easy access to God. It was no longer restricted to only holy priest having access to him. It is everyone responsibility to know if his or her tithe is being spent on frivolity or otherwise. In that same Malachi where we are instructed to take the tithes to the house of God, the scriptures explained what the tithes should be spent on. I wonder why pastors don't hammer on that part. You can also be held responsible spiritually if it is found that your tithes was being used in funding things like terrorism or kidnapping. If you know it's not used for the purpose it's to be you have every right to stop. One last thing I want you to know is that God has not made anyone a priest or a pastor. It is all human made. The person you are calling a pastor today might just be a man servant in the eyes of God and the person you are calling an ordinary person might be a bishop in the eyes of God. Those position are nonsense and should not be a yardstick for assessing anyone. Of I feel my tithe is not judiciously spent and I air my opinion, it would be an insult for you to say that is not my job. Because: whose job is it? And who told you it's not my job? |
Religion / Re: Is It Right Or Wrong To Give A Beggar My Tithes by khadaffi(m): 7:02am On Dec 19, 2021 |
Please do what you feel is right and stop seeking people's opinions on such issues. Even the bible makes us understand that on the last day everyone shall give account. Your pastor or fellowship leader will not speak for you. So what most of the leaders are doing now is mostly what suit them and their doctrine. If you feel it's right to pay it in church over giving to the poor do so. If you feel it's the other way round also do it. What many pastors will never tell you is that it is possible for God to speak to you and ask you not to give your tithe in the church because not all gathering are actually places where God dwells 61 Likes 4 Shares |

ThankUJesus: Are you sure it's not already late. There is a reason the Edo State government refused to comment on the issue. It's deliberate. When Shuaibu (present deputy governor) was in the house of assembly, he ushered in thugs into the house to fight. There was a video of this then but unfortunately I seem not to see it anywhere now. Zakawanu Garba chased someone with a battle axe when he was in the state house of assembly. If you think these guys are free then you know nothing. Even the current deputy senate President Ovie Omo Agege is not left out. Abi Na Solomon dalung? |

Education / Re: If You Find Yourself In This Situation As A Teacher, What Will You Do? by khadaffi(m): 4:17pm On Dec 08, 2021 |
If this is junior secondary then the best decision will be to return it to the student and inform the management. The thing is that junior students will always talk. Tomorrow their parents will come and ask to see the teacher that requests for money in order to assist the child. It's going to be the teachers fault because everyone will say the child is a minor. If it's a senior secondary students then you asses the child before taking it. If the child is old enough and independent, you can take it. If not please leave it and report. It is this type of little temptations that have landed some teachers in prison. **Edited*** I hadn't watched the video before commenting. After watching it my decision is a straightforward one. Take the money and mark the right thing. Nothing will happen. |

tutudesz: I have answered that question in my previous post. Don't blame me if you didn't read it. This is an extract: ....This is the exact same ignorance many parents display today. Please just try and google through to see if the gadget can have any negative effect to the child development and what kind of behaviours the kids are likely to exhibit when they are exposed to these devices. If you had goggled that you wouldn't be asking this. I can't keep going round and round. |

tutudesz: @ the bolded, what you're implying is that the demerit of ICT does not apply to kids in Nigeria because it is a developing society?? This is the most absurd and ridiculous thing I've heard in a while. |
Crime / Re: Faces Of The Boys That Murdered Their Colleague, Sylvester, At Dowen College by khadaffi(m): 8:19am On Dec 06, 2021 |
tutudesz: My brother this is not a subject of debate. It is a research that has already been completed in Education. That is why other developed world are working towards that line. In Nigeria we copy senselessly. Meanwhile the kids we have today, are they the same with those before? And was there cultism in secondary schools before phones existed? Also I will like you to also mention how many people you heard was killed as a result of brutality meted out by seniors before the advent of phones. See ICT has its merit and demerit. It appears you didn't goggle what I asked you to otherwise you wouldn't have typed this last message. |

tutudesz: See I understand what you are trying to pass and you are not wrong. You are very correct. However you are not correct by implying that gadgets don't have a negative effect on child development. I know you didn't think this through before typing it and I'm also not blaming you for it. This is the exact same ignorance many parents display today. Please just try and google through to see if the gadget can have any negative effect to the child development and what kind of behaviours the kids are likely to exhibit when they are exposed to these devices. There is a reason why kids are strictly monitored in advanced climes. If it wasn't dangerous then why are they not care free like us here. My submission is this: Can the use of adult device alter a child behaviour? --------------Yes Can it be responsible for what we are discussing here?--------------Yes Can you sue the gadget company for damages?-------------No So why can't they be sued? Because they clearly made you aware these devices were not monitored and not for kids. They didn't expect that parents will be that foolish to purchase such devices without taking measures to protect their kids. |
Crime / Re: Faces Of The Boys That Murdered Their Colleague, Sylvester, At Dowen College by khadaffi(m): 6:43am On Dec 06, 2021 |
tutudesz: But why will a responsible parent be buying latest gadget for kids at such age. The civilized society we are trying to emulate don't even do that. They make specialised device for that age group and they monitor them online through free wifi in schools and public places. What that dude you quoted said is very correct. The government should as a matter of urgency ban kids in schools from using gadget not specifically made for their age group. |

Politics / Re: How Tinubu Will Transform Nigeria Like He Did Lagos by khadaffi(m): 8:03pm On Nov 18, 2021 |
Thinkam: You see lets be clear on one point. Tinubu did not change Lagos when he was governor. If the system was working, he would have been jailed like Lucky Igbinedion and Ibori of delta state. The normal phenomenon during their dispensation was for governors to loot and every governor in Nigeria during that period was a thief. Quote me on that. Before Tinubu became governor Lagos state was not broke. The people also loved the previous military administrator in the person of Marwa. Now let me ask you: was Marwa a thief or a good administrator. The reason Lagosians seem to always like their administrators is because the state itself is rich so the governor's have enough to loot and also work with. The same thing happened in Delta state during Ibori's dispensation: even though the man stole, he also worked and the people were happy with him. Please forget Tinubu. The biggest mistake Nigerians can make now is to make that man president. 1 Like 1 Share |

I also battled with pimples in my late teens to early 20's and I also stopped using cream except Vaseline and this will be during harmattan as you said. I also used Dettol constantly and the result was astonishing. I bought detol in dozens, so I never allowed it finish. The result also for me was that when you see me you will also not know if I'm staying away from cream. I also used royalux at some point for cleaning my face regularly but when this was telling on my income I had to stop. |

Seun: Oga seun I'm disappointed about this statement of yours especially the bolded part because I know you are not a kid. But for others who might see this statement as valid it is important we quickly educate them that the major reason women are not in politics has nothing with what Seun said above but rather due to our history. Nigeria moved from military to democracy and our military men became the Democratic leaders. In the days when the military were in power, women were not accepted in the military hence when the system of government changed from military to democracy majority of the military guys who had looted the country easily became politicians. They were able achieve this by making interest forms in political party very high. Infact you have to be either a thief or past politician to be able to easily purchase forms for the major political party. Either way, it's not easy to find a woman/lady thief so you don't expect to see them in politics. However the case, in 1999 some women were in the Senate house. An example was senator Daisy Ehanire Danjuma who represented my state. Please I will like to ask you Seun, even if you have to browse to answer me : what was her contribution as a woman in the Senate? Considering what she did why should anyone still vote for her? It is important I also point out here that she was famous for always painting her nails while important discuss will be ongoing. Please we should forget about women or whatever but rather channel our energy to campaign that the prices of interest forms in political parties be reduced to a level where a minimum wage worker of at least 18years old will be able to afford it whether male or female. If an 18 years old can vote, he should also be allowed to contest and everyone should also be allowed to contest regardless of the income you earn. This is a better campaign not the one our Oga wrote up there. |
